Watsup my people!
Im pretty sure that im not the only footy supporter on this forum, so here is what i would like from u guys:

1)International team (ur country hopefully otherwise its a patriotism FAIL!)
2)Fav Club
3)Fav Player

Ok ill get it started.
1)BAFANA BAFANA! lol im South African and love my country even tho our footy team smells.
2)Arsenal ftw, supported them since i started watching footy.
3)Thierry Henry. Pure class. (Yes he's still my fav even after leaving to Barca like a chop)

1.England
2.Chelsea(dun flame me...i seriously like them n not becos of the billions in roman's pockets)

3.Frank Lampard(chelsea+england n i like him better than john terry...)

from malaysia by the way so not biased to own country....
malaysia football fever is yeah!

but the local players.....haih...

YAY! lol i waited for ages to get some replies to this, since it doesnt show on the home page when someone posts on it. only thought about putting it in my sig now... DOH! but SWEET we got some footi fans! @Orochi, lol, sounds kinda like my international team! haha, if we werent hosting the 2010 WC, we wouldnt have qualified either... sigh... i blame the politicians.

we got some STUPID ass politicians in SA. Racism controls everything. they want to take our national rugby team's emblem away (the Springboks btw) coz it "represents racism" sigh. idiots. u guys should have seen how winning last years world cup brought our country together!

but anyway, that was a rant.
i would like to ask u guys, especially mods, how well do you think a general sports discussion thread would go down on DS? I know the stereotypical "geek" doesnt even know how to spell sport or party or drink or score chicks but i think DS is proof of the exact OPPOSITE. wat u guys think? And what section should it go under?

well Like Mort im South African as well but:
Int team = england (i have no love for the politics of South African sport)
Fav Club = Man United (Soz Mort But you know they better than arsenal! )
My Fav player... Im a big fan of Ryan Giggs but hes getting old now, so I think Christiano Ronaldo is doing a pretty bang up job, most of the time...
