@flameseeker: Looking forward to it
*This may be the longest chapter I've ever written.
Chapter 15
They found themselves in front of the gate to the Dark Tower but it was unguarded as if they were supposed to go inside.
"I guess we enter now?" Lucio asked as he approached the gate when Raijin put his hand in front of Lucio to stop him.
"Look carefully at the gate, see those markings? It is a seal of sorts," Raijin explained
The gate itself was quite a sight as it looked like any other ordinary gate but there were markings all across which would seem like a demonic seal of sorts. But before they did anything else, the black scroll which Raijin held started to pulsate in resonance to the seal. He quickly took out the black scroll, opened it and a blackish glow emanated from it which only Rexxar could see. To them, it was all a big blank.
"Rexxar what do you see?" Davion asked.
Rexxar at first shook his head and blinked twice just to be sure that this was no illusion. In the scroll, lines quickly formed where they last left off, now forming a figure, no, figures of demonic origins.
"I see..." Rexxar began, "a throne, a throne encased in a thick layer of ice and upon that throne is an impressive suit of azure orcish armor. It's barely describable."
"The Frozen Throne...I had a feeling that the Lich King had something to do with-" was all Arc could say before Rexxar suddenly interrupted him.
"No wait, the Frozen Throne is now enshrouded in fire, black fires from the very depths of the demonic plane!" Rexxar exclaimed.
"The Frozen Throne, is burning?" Davion asked, with what might have been a puzzled look on his face if it wasn't covered by his Dragonhelm.
"The Frozen Throne is no more and in its place is a black flame. Now from that black flame, a figure emerges; it's a dragon of immense power with scales black as night. A figure that dwarfs other dragons." Rexxar commented, describing as well as he could.
"Deathwing," Davion said grimly.
"Who is Deathwing, Davion?" Lucio asked, and Raijin nodded in agreement to the question.
"Well, you see, it's like this," Davion started, "You know of the five flights of the dragon race, do you not?"
"Of course, there's the Azure, Red, Green and I forgot the rest," Lucio said .
"Bronze and the Black," Raijin finished.
"Yes, that is right, those are the five flights of the dragons but what most people do not realize is that we of each flight possess different affinities with the world," Davion explained, "The Red are of Life, Azure of Magic, Green of dreaming, Bronze of Time and the Black of Earth and each flight is lead by a dragon called an aspect, a dragon of immense power that none of us could begin to fathom. The Aspect of Life, Alexstraza the Crimson, The Aspect of Magic ,Malygos the Blue, The Aspect of Dreaming, Ysera the Green, The Aspect of Time, Nozdormu the Bronze and The Aspect of Earth, Neltharion the Black."
"Now, Neltharion eventually turned on all of us and created chaos for he believed that his flight was the only one deserving to rule," Davion continued, "eventually, the four other Aspects did battle with Deathwing and when he was defeated, disappeared without a trace."
"Well, then I guess he has now shown up," Rexxar commented, "And now Deathwing, has disappeared. This scroll is insane, what kind of madness is this! Ah, wait, another image is forming, it is an otherworldly dimension that is between existence and non-existence and here, is a great demonic entity through I cannot see it. Now Deathwing comes into the picture again and he talks to the air... I cannot hear their conversation but I can now sense the presence of... Sargeras! This must be the Twisting Nether where his spirit was long ostracized to. I remember the legend, he seeks a vessel worthy to contain his power... I now understand! Deathwing is the vessel of Sargeras and the Lich King is no more!"
There was a silence that filled that cavern as Sargeras illuminated the corners of the cave with bright, green flames which the Burning Legion were known for. This illuminated the cave just enough so that everything inside was clear while being unnoticeable from the outside.
"Lord Sargeras, if I am not mistaken, you would have destroyed the lesser races by now. Not that I do not appreciate it but why have you not killed the Nerubians yet?" Anub'seran asked.
With a powerful tone that would have shattered the earth, he replied, "My reason is because you Nerubians are not what I would consider as a lesser race. You are quite a formidable force that is a match for even the Burning Legion. I have been watching the Nerubians for a long time as you have interested me with your ancient culture. Not only that but I have seen many a battle fought by your kind and I have found your way to be of interest."
"You called for me, Anub'seran?" came a voice as rough as Anub'seran's but more powerful and thundering. Out from the tunnel came a purple-colored Nerubian very similar to a beetle. But he was far larger than his kind. He had tusks that could easily impale any other creature, a spiked carapace which provided a unique kind of protection that only he possessed. He was followed by creatures that looked like him except smaller and with less features. These were the creatures known as Carrion Beetles.
"Good of you to join us, Anub'arak." Anub'seran indifferently said, "my lord, what will be our course of action?"
Sargeras stopped for a moment to think and finally said, "Summon the rest, especially the arcanists here," Sargeras began, "We shall call upon the rest of the Legion. This will be the third invasion of Azeroth and this time, we shall not be stopped!"

I'm still brainstorming for Chapter 16, but in regards to that question, I've always wanted to make the new account for 2 main reasons.
1. Wanted to change my Username (Shallow reason, very shallow, I know)
2. I've posted too little for a stay that long. I even forgot about this place for around 6 months at one point.
So yeah, it's more of a clean slate, a fresh start for me again.

Chapter 16
The ancient caverns were illuminated by the green flames of chaos. There were they gathered, every single Nerubian Arcanist in Dark Tower. Magic of different races always varied immensely but Nerubian magic may have been the most different kind that ever existed. You see, with most races, magic evolves, new spells are constantly being developed by talented sorcerers and wizards but the spells these arcanists cast are those of ancient origin. Now some believe that this is a disadvantage for the Nerubians and those who have thought so, learned that they have been dead wrong; in fact, it is actually an advantage for them. Since their magic has been left unchanged, it has been strengthened considerably over time.
Strangely, there was one who was missing and it was Anub'seran. Sargeras calmly askes Crixalis and Anub'arak if they knew where he was and they both just shook their heads. Sargeras shrugged and decided to continue for he knew that Anub'seran was no Arcanist. Sargeras started building up an incredible amount of power in his hands...
The black scroll had an uneasy aura about it but it was the same aura the Sealed Gate had. Raijin tried to pick up the scroll when it burst into black flames and before any of them realized it, the Sealed Gate was also burning in flames of the same color. The black scroll burned away into ashes, ashes that were blwon away by the wind. As one would expect, the Sealed Gate too, had disappeared into the wind.
The four looked at each other and entered Dark Tower.
When Sargeras had built up enough energy, he drew a circle with his hands in the empty space before him and lo and behold, a crimson portal of chaotic properties materialized from that figure which he drew in the air.
"You see now before you, the portal that will bring back the Burning Legion to this world!" Sargeras exclaimed, "I ask you, to focus your arcane energies into it, so that we may increase its size and allow great numbers to enter at a time. Yes, I am able to do this on my own but we must make haste. And only with the power of many are we able to do this."
The Nerubian Arcanists started focusing their energies into that chaotic distortion and they were able to observe it growing slowly in size.
The interior of Dark Tower was much different then Rexxar had remembered it to be to the point that he thought it had been altered by someone else, perhaps Sargeras. What he remembered as a grand design of great corridors for entire armies to walk through and endless stairways was now a twisting pathway that led to countless other pathways. Dark Tower, as he knew it, was now still a grand design; a grand labyrinth.
"You are able to use your magic to just break us out of here, correct?" asked Rexxar to all three spellcasters.
"I am not able to harness the powers of wind and lightning here," Raijin replied.
"I can barely feel druidic energies," Lucio replied.
"The magic here is of ancient origin, far older than anything of my knowledge therefore I can't do anything about it," Davion replied.
"I guess we'll just have to find a way out of here the hard way," Rexxar said.
They walked down a first pathway and turned through a second, and crawled through a third. Down the fourth, a welcoming committee greeted them, a group of four Nerubian Warriors. Nerubians were always known to use webbing in attacks, but these warriors held a sword in each forearm and looked well-versed in the line of combat.
"This is going to harder than I thought," Rexxar said as he pulled out his dual tomahawks and faced off with the first. Davion pulled out his Dragonsword and faced off with the second one. Lucio had only his oak staff to do battle with the third, and Raijin had nothing but his bare hands.
Rexxar was on par with this Nerubian Warrior, each slash of the sword was quickly opposed by a strike from a tomahawk. Both were quick, both were prepared and both were powerful. But as time passed by, Rexxar struck faster and faster. As a beastmaster, he lived in the wild and sharpened his instincts to deal with any situation. He always studied his opponents' attacks and would be able to find more opportunities to strike when he found an opening and this warrior was no exception. The Nerubian Warrior struck with both swords and Rexxar parried them with one tomahawk, and threw the other right at the Nerubian who was still off-balance. He was not able to block the incoming Tomahawk and was later left lifeless on the labyrinthine flooring.
Rexxar turned his head to see that Davion had already slain his adversary long before Rexxar had slain his.
Lucio put up quite a surprising fight as he used his oak staff to block the sword blows against him. His oak staff, however, had no scratches on them which was a strange thing. He kept blocking the Nerubian Warrior's attacks and countered quickly with his own. This kept on until the Nerubian Warrior was put off-balance and struck in the face by the staff. This left the Nerubian unconscious.
The fourth warrior had already begun to face off with Raijin when he noticed his situation. It was a 4 to 1 ratio. He did not like his chances as he was not Anub'seran. He quickly burrowed underground and fled the scene.
"We killed two, knocked one unconscious and left the last one running. I'd say this was a pretty good battle," Lucio said.
"Yes, especially because we have one who is unconscious. When he wakes up, we shall make him tell us the path."
The portal grew quickly in a short time, thanks in part to the Arcanists. At last, the first figure emerged from the portal; it was a figure build from rocks burning in green flames shaped like a human except much larger in size. The first of the infernals had revealed itself...
