I don't really like Square as a company. But they get credit for making relatively decent games out of the train wreck the JRPG genre is.

FFX was all right.
FFVII was the most f*cking overrated game I have ever played.
FFVIII was as bad as everyone said it was.
FFIII (DS) was... grindy.
