Hero STR, INT, and AGI

Hi all,

This is something I've been a little confused by since I started playing. I had assumed that no matter what hero you use, STR directly related to the amount of damage you would incur on your enemies. However, I was reading some articles online, and it seems like people refer to heroes as specifically STR, INT, or AGI heroes. Does this mean that if I use an INT hero, that I shouldn't waste my time with items that increase the STR of that hero? Or does STR help increase attack damage? I had thought INT simply gave you more mana and mana regeneration, but did not increase attack damage. Hmm... is this why it's been hard for me to find an edge while playing certain heroes? Fill me in! thanks!

STR items only increase the damage of STR heroes. INT items increase the damage of INT heroes. same goes for AGI heroes. if you are an INT hero and you get a STR item, the max HP of the hero will increase only, no extra damage. hope i helped you some

hi,

Primary: depends on your hero base, if its:
str base - str stats will increase hero dmg
int base - int stats will increase hero dmg
agi base - agi stats will increase hero dmg

Secondary: besides primary, this works on all kind of hero (str,agi, or int)
str - increase HP
agi - increase att speed and armor
int - increase MP

jinhui is right on the money, if ur still confused, whenever ur in a game just glide your mouse over the hero type symbol and read the fine print. looks very much like jinhui's post
