Okay he says: he had a stout shield and a perserverance, and took apart the perserverance, then a stout shield, perserverance, and a vanguard appeared. Kinda weird but its evil, 1775 gold + 300 gold = 2025 gold will have you that wicked bug.

@matarqay it doesn't work in .40 AI but I think it might work in .41. Does it work in the earliest dota version with vangurd????? need reply pls

I did it in .40 but im too lazy to do it in .41 so sumone else do it.LOL. I did this in single player mode..

i think its not true! why? first of all its on a single player mode right? so mantargray must have activated greedisgood cheat which gives the player a bunch of gold not to mention also as lumber... vanguard doesnt need a recipe, if all the items are in your inventory it will automatically be made...

so heres my theory...
first..
1.when you made that vanguard you are at the fountain martargray right? if not.. then dont bother to read
2. then you have the item in your inventory stout shield, vitality booster, and a perseverance.
3. then you dis assembled the perseverance and void stone + ring of health appeared.
4. but vanguard didnt formed!
5. so out of mantargray's curiousity... he said to himself why isnt it formed? so he clicked the vanguard recipe on the shop! with out knowing that he has a lumber! because of the cheat greedisgood activated...
6. but if you buy scroll it will just remain as scroll, why was vanguard formed? because... mantargray already have the necesarry items so then it was formed!
7. but mantargray already dis assembled the perseverance! why did it formed again? because... disassembled items will just remain dis assembled unless you picked up an item.
8. but mantargray didnt picked an item! yes he did.... he just bought the recipe scroll of vanguard...

I never thought that there wasn't really a scroll image for Vanguard...
