His description says that he marches towards the sentinel onward never stopping until he reaches the world tree.. he has difficulty in catching on preys because his slow those not synergize well with the ulti.. the 10%increase ms triggers once you hit the enemy but most heroes has one stopping skill to either slow abaddon a bit or so stunning him for a second which is a headache for him.

note:
have you notice these more often that people in pubs are making fun of him even hitting him at the borrowed time duration because they know he is very fragile as a str hero and can easily bring his hp down again. HIS ULTI IS NOT THAT IMBA BECAUSE HIS ARMOR AND STR GROWTH IS DECREASED DRASTICALLY IF YOU NOTICED.

And so i think his "borrowed time" should be improved a little bit not changed. At the moment he triggers his ultimate, not only he will heal all damage but also he cannot be stunned or slowed for the 5 seoond duration of the skill.

note:
think first, i know you will say his imba like that and so, but from experience., 5sec is not so imba for him because he needs some true space to freely whack at his target putting in mind his difficulties in cathing a target with no stun or ms boost unless you hit the target perse.

If this could be done i assure you it is not imba. With many reworkes to many heroes nowadays., almost all heroes can escape abaddon with their mere second slow or short stun skills.

All you have to do is surround him and then wait for his ulti to pass before raping him. On the other hand, his ability to escape from pretty much every situation so long as he isn't completely overwhelmed.
