you could also harass your opponent sending him to keep going back to the tavern to gain back hp that way you can gain more exp and have more of an advantage when fighting. creep denying and neutral creeps help out 2.

Also don't be disheartened if you're lagging behind or if you can't get creep kills/denies. The only way is to get better is by practicing. Try practicing against an AI, then try your luck against real opponents.

I thought the AoE of experience is 800.Its 1000 now?
Anyways,if u see some of your allies ganking somebody,go near the future-dead hero and try killing him as with your allies it will be easier and u will gain EXP.

First of all try not to die that makes you lose a lot experience. In the beginning of the game dont try to go for the kill unless you think you can get it almost absolutly positively and finally at the mid and late game you should still kill neutral creeps but if you want a lot of levels then go and kill some heros or help kill some heros

@rairu
sig too big... remove one, the max for size for sig is 500 x 200 i think...
[/oot]
well another thing is the trip back to the fountain to heal or buy items, that can also be a prob for xp...
try to stay on lane longer and avoid going back to your base frequently, buy items to regain health and mana [flasks, tango, clarity]... and buy a chicken to purchase items for...
items such as ring of regen and ring of basillus regens hp and mana, which lessens the need to go back to base...

Here's the big 3 for beginners:
1. Play in the lanes. You miss out on creep experience, hero kills, and tower kills if you spend all your time wandering around in the forest and running back and forth to your fountain/shops. Stay in your lane as long as you reasonably can without risking death. Buy items when you can get at least 2-3 at a time(or one big one)
2. Neutral creeps are good! Depending on your hero, creep farming is a great source of gold and experience. If you can't push into enemy territory, hit neutral creeps while you wait for a return push.
3. Avoid getting killed, beaten, and dog piling lanes. You need to be there for hero kills. You'll find that the players who can chase down and kill enemy heroes will level faster. If you're taking too much damage and have to retreat before killing heroes, play safer, or get some survivability items(health, wind walk, blink dagger). Any more than 2 heroes in a lane when it's not a push means unreasonably slow leveling, so make sure you space out when you can.
And Deny, Deny, Deny your ally creeps!

try killing enemy heroes
1 on 1...
before u learn to deny or last hit... u should know how fast ur hero attack.. and the characteristic of your hero.. coz some hero have their own style on their attack..
keep ur finger on alt..

Don't get over-excited about the hunt. Sometimes, you think there's a perfect gank opportunity, only to see that when you finally arrive, the victim has either TP'ed out, or has friends to back him up. Do this often enough, and you'll be poor, hungry, and weak.
So, if you see a gank opportunity across the map, signal, and keep doing what you're doing. Maybe the rest of your team can get it, but for you, it may be a waste of time.

Creeps pulling, first step for about 600-800 range onto your opponent then try aiming the hero but don't hit or get near him, just wait for the creeps to come and attack you, then go to your tower so that you can kill creeps easily.
Keep doing it until you arrive at your tower, just pull, pull and pull the creeps so you can avoid creep denying.
Well your opponent will be pissed off!
