DOTA A.I. Question

Sorry for being a newb but how do I get AI to work and play offline. Do I put in computer players? And how do they pick? Thanks in advanced

last time i played with them, in the beginning screen i put in all computer (easy), i don't know if changing it to insane or the other levels will change their level of dota gameplay and i have no idea how to control them in the game.

its weird i put them on normal and put in -apem and then i just chose and played with creeps =[ sumone help me

maybe your using a NON-AI map...

you should download an AI map for you to play against AI...

sometimes AI takes a minute or so to choose a hero, have you tried waiting?

have you tried playing again? make sure you use the AI map that you downloaded [Dota Allstars 6.40 AI v3.01]...

in version 6.40, those heroes will choose themselves only after you choose your hero.they will choose some heroes that can kill you easily.example:you use Lina Inverse ,they will use Anti-Mage..........

it would be best to make sure you're downloading a map that say "AI version something something and be sure to wait for the ai to chose after you chose and hero and dont forget to put a Computer(insane) or whatsoever in the starting screen.
