NEED HELP WITH DOTA!!!!

ok, i just started playing dota to have a break from ladder games. The problem is im crap at it and ppl always say i got items that arnt good for the hero. This then results in a late game ownage against me. Ppl will say watch replays but i need soem advice on how to get good, and quick. I usually go that mugt or something the mammoth thing and i though i was ok until i got owned. NEEED HELP NOW!!! thx all

The terms "get good, and quick" is easily not true in many cases.

If you just started the game, then you're bound to make mistakes and get poor items or poor play. That's because it's new. And it's normal.

Even up to now, I can say that I still need a lot of work when it comes to playing effectively. This is because every hero is unique, and every strategy that applies to each hero is also different. Then there's also the case when players play different styles.

So the best answer would be to get experience. Yep, just like in the game, where you can't possibly kill everything at level 1, you need to play a lot to get good at the game.

I'm sure you can find several tips here and there, if you read through the forums, but that would take time. So you're better off practicing and playing over and over. Till you drop dead. Nah I'm not kidding. Har-har.
