another random fractal/background

ok so this one took forever to make but it is one of my favourites to date.
as per the requests I got from the last batch of images I made, there is a transparent background PNG for your enjoyment as well as uploads to the proper sized images.

Apophysis, huh?.. Really nice, i like it. The color combination is attractive. I like the random mini-wormholes inside the big one. How long did it take to be made?

Also, what do you mean by "the requests I got from the last batch of images I made"? Have you made more pictures?

it took me close to an hour to make the image (from scratch) and then about 2 hours for it to render (me going away and doing something else while it ate my CPU power) I now leave the transparent background on because... all I need to do is open the image in photoshop, cut, paint black and past back over to get the black then save it as a JPG (making it a nice small size for the desktop background)transparent one looks silly as a background as it throws up a heap of tiny pixels everywhere.

The same image as above? You need to resize and upload onto a picture sharing site like Photobucket/Image shack and then follow the instructions here

Well you could download the render to do a background for a sig, I'm sure it would be very nice looking.

most people would just grab a section/shrink the entire thing and use it as a background render for a sig.
