I'd say there is too much space on the sides. thought the center is great.

The thing is, your sig is too empty. You can enhance it by enlarging the render. And there's not really a need for scanlines. Throw in a C4D or smudge it and it will look great.

way better than your current that's for sure..
Just take out that boarder, add a little bit of lightning and uh yea.. it would go to 4/5 after that.

It's suppose to be a dark theme so putting some lighting would not be appropriate...

Nah actually it would make it have a more dark feel..
did this just to show you the difference.

you could just add the black shadows only too..
