Current status:
Pending Individual Strategies (Awaiting Approval)

Tidehunter - Updated Guide [6.63/6.64] (edit)

I believe this is 'submitted' or I might be doing something wrong. I am quite new to the forums eventhough I've been enjoying dota for a while. The guide is mostly focussed on a, in my opinion, proper item built accepted by the community. Any help is appreciated, cheers .

that should mean your strategy is already submitted. patience!

edit: btw do u mind if i ask what item build? for tide i go BoT, MoM, Radiance, Assault, Buriza, Battlefury. Imba

@ Casindus

Your strategy got nuked by the staff, main reason was that you only put in an item build and no real tactics to use Tidehunter.

Improve it, submit it again and we will (again) be able to see the strategy.

Well in my opinion you don't have the right build if you're using battlefury. A lot of people think that the Battle Fury gives them 100% Anchor Smash, but it does not. It just changes his attack animation to that of Anchor Smash, that is all. You might even miss the 35% bonus if you’re facing the wrong way!

Also I don't use boots of travel on tide. Guide has the info why, but the shortlist:

Treads / Cuirass / Heart / Kelen's / Shiva's / Refresher / [optional Monkey King Bar if game lasts on forever for Treads]

That's the item build. I won't go calling things "imba" since it's all dependant on the enemy team, game dynamics and what not. It's just my opinion that it is a rock solid build for him and I've had much positive feedback.

but you need things like dagger + ulti because, lets face it, this is one of the best initiating skills combos in the game

In my guide I also described why Vanguard is a no-go with Kraken Shell, but it seems it was nuked (would be nice to get a notification of it other than a forum post, albeit thnx).

I can not yet perscribe people HOW to play, I just wanted them to build him correctly item-wise. Well, guess they'll have to figure that out - which I bet they'll do just fine .

Everybody can give an item build to people, we have a hero and item database for that. Making a strategy involves tactics.

I could write about 5 strategies per day if I just did an item and skill build. And thats with almost no time on my hands.

going back to the TC discussion (lol), screw Refresher and just get a Eul's and Blink dagger imo. you cant do the imba combo but no one can get away from you, guaranteed ^^

Lothar's doesn't hold much benefit for TC anyways.

Mass pushes would be expecting your team breaking combo and bring along, as said by Ghost, dust.
