NEED Dota OMG newbie guide!

I want to start playing omg, so I need a basic guide including:

-modes
-commands
-some skills for a dps hero
-some skills for a tank
-general items
-anything important I should know

Modes

-RA or -AD

-RA every hero goes random abilities for their hero
-AD each player gets to choose from a pool of abilities, drafting order following the order of 1-2-2-2-2-1 (then reversed for skills)

Best game modes

-arradm
-arad

DPS combos

Crits, bashes, blink strike, IAS, hunter in the night, evasion, empowering haste. Basically strong passive abilities that boost damage greatly

Tank combos

Dispersion - Reflect big damage you take onto opponents
Inner Vitality - More HP= more regen
Stack Hearts - Always a good idea with dispersion
Flesh Heap - Since a 6.64 OMG hasn't come out yet, Flesh heap still works on creeps = FARM FOR HP
Blink - Escape Spell
Borrowed Time - Heal back HP while being damaged

Hints :

Techies with Impetus = Massive Damage
Fury Swipes on range hero = Pure Imba
Feast on any hero is good because of the lifesteal
Blink and Blink Strike are imba on certain heroes
First use of fissure has no cooldown
Windrunner + Glaives = Ownage
Weak melee heroes, eg meepo aren't good

Look out for potential combos,
E.G. Am blink with centaur stun
Or Chakra Magic with Remote mines (infinite mines??)
Or sometime simple like Land Mines and Vacuum or
Meat Hook and Rupture

Shisehise about said it all.

When you're drafting abilities, try to get the most covetted ones first. Blink, Fury Swipes, or any orb should be top picks.Figure out what your building your hero to be, and whether it will fit in your team or not.

The one single best tanking skill in the game is dispersion. Get Dispersion+HP+other tank skills=the other team dies when they try to kill you.

4 disables is a great early-mid-late build.

There is really no such thing as good support in omg mode. Best you can do is mass heals and mana regeneration. AoE stuns work for AoE builds, if you are looking for a pusher, Rearm is the base of good pushing, combined with a summoning skill at least. Mass eldilons or tombstones are difficult to deal with. And walling off a lane with 4 tombstones is also an interesting strategy.

I'm a horrible OMG player. I played it once before and saw this guy go with Glaives, Slardar's bash, Flesh Heap(not sure), and Windrunner's Ulti. The hero it self was windrunner. Windrunner had like 3000hp and dealt like tons of pure damage. IMBA!

My favorite was howl, rearm, eldilons, teleport. The guy pushed 9 towers solo.

Marksmanship, Time Lock, Fury Swipes, Empowering Haste on Juggernaut. Holy crap was I overpowered. Empowering Haste is a must if you get to go first. Only if it suits your hero.

get AM or TB since they have the best base attack speed.
get timelock,blink,battletrance,wave.


-blink to chase run
-timelock for permabash and synergy with your great BAT
-battletrance for more bash
-wave for nice farming capabilities and early harrasing

Its a great build, but waveform works like a blink...in a way. Give him something more of a lategame(critical comes to mind) skill and he will be even more imbalanced. But again, OMG DoTa is pretty IMBA it self.

Only played it once, I made some weird ganking TB (picked him based on stat and BAT) and had Hunter in the Night, Barathums speed aura, potm's arrow and Haunt. That was a fun character Wink
