a 5s support stunner, a farmer/team clash with acid spray, a carry with his ultimate. Best lane staying with his ulti. That's pretty much it...

tank/dps is the normal build.

Travels, Radi, heart, HoD/Pipes if necessary, AC, Satanic would be the standard full build, however normally you would only get

Travels, Radi, Heart or Pipes, AC from the build, with maybe vanguard or bracers or something in there.

He can be build as pure dps, or as support, or whatever you want. Armlet is another item easily considered on him, as it's very effective and very easy to farm.

Hes mainly a tank, but can be decent dps with the right items. However he is somewhat versatile with his items.

BoT/Phase/Treads
Armlet
MoM/Satanic
Radiance/Bfury
HoT/BKB
AC/Basher/MKB/Buriza

usually i play Alchemist as supporter,farmer, and tank.
I go creeping in forest and get BF quickly, after that go to Blade Mail, Boots and Tarras

He did have an Alchemist guide (iirc it did pretty well in Dotatics contest). But he took off ALL his guide for NO ABSOLUTE REASON Laughing

Alchemist late game can have multiple roles, he can be a carry, tank, dps, or support. Depending on what you get and how well you farm. In 20 minutes you can have a radiance, or you can go with Ac / vlads for support. You can also go armlet, heart, satanic, for the ultimate tank.

I think GB's build was. S and Y, heart,pt,assualt,radiance, and some other items. I go for tank/dps.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see Ebennezer's post. But yea, that guide pretty much sums it up.
Armlet really goes well with him since his ulti's regenarion kind of evens the degeneration.
