I get it for Phantom Lancer, its impossible for them to get away with Lance+Diffusal+Bash. That is like 90 percent slow plus bash, and being attacked by 10 phantoms at once, i would like to see someone escape:) Also Phantom Lancer has fast attack rate, but do the images have bash? If so, it will be one of the best late game items to get:)

I use it on heroes with high attack speed (or low BAT) like Lycan, AM, Alchemist (on some occasions), Nightstalker, Ursa, and Sylla and his bear. For fun games, I use Basher on Windrunner, Jugg, and some heroes who uses illusions. I think it has some use, but I would get the hero's core items first before getting this on the heroes I mentioned.

Illusions have "fake" bash.

There will ba a bash icon showing over the targets head that the illusion bashed but the stun will not occur. I have no idea if it proccs the cd or not. If i remember right (and correct me if i'm wrong) it procc the cd, but if you get a bash first the fake bashes will prolong it.

i'm pretty bash doesn't work well with ursa (for some reason i can't think of right now). and besides, why even need a basher if u can already slow and kill within 2 seconds?

IIRC, When a bash occurs, you wont stack fury swipes, but will damage. and most of the times, a slow isnt enough.

I think every time an illusion does a fake-bash, it increases the chance your next hit will be a bash and the chance for consecutive bashes.

Bashers are really under used these days. That's probably because actual disables like hex are superior. You hardly ever see heroes being able to kill by themselves unless its Pudge. Even DPS heroes should focus more on damage item like Buriza rather than a low proc disables like Bash.

illusions cant bash. the blue stuff can be seen, but the enemy still can move. its known as a 'fake bash'

basher is quite situational i guess.
dam useful against life-stealers as it makes them NOT able to lifesteal. which decreases their HP and they die ^^ eg skeleking or brood.
but a guinsoo or disable will do the same as well, thats why bashers are under-used

and i would agree with daman2000, carries should focus more on dps items like butter buriza mkb. but 'semi carries' like potm can get basher if the team requires it.

Have you guys ever tried it on WindRunner? Tried it once on pub and it works pretty well, even with the low chance.

no way!!!that thing is alot useful for other characters...for example, usually get 2 or 1 cranium basher for anti-mage...
