Posted on Sat Apr 07, 2007 1:58 pmGenerally for strength characters it is better to buy first a HOT or damage increasing item?
Certain strength heroes may need first HOT bu I am asking for the majority of strength heroes

I'd rather go for damage items first than Tarrasque, except only for Pudge.

Depends on....
HoT for tanker purpose...
S&Y or radiance or battle fury for damage purpose.
Depends on hero and the purpose.

Hmmm... it depends on his/her role for the team, as a tanker or as a killer or even as a supporting hero?
I usually play as a supporting hero, so HoT is my choice, but only after I get Assault Cuirass...

Depends on the hero you play with but i'll say offensive..

Item dependent hero, i'll surely go for DAMAGE items. (ex. Sven)
Skill dependent hero, i'll go for HoT. (ex. Pudge and Axe)

I only go for damage items for str hero with a decent aspd (omniknight IMO).
HoT is usually the last item in my inventory. ^^
