Short answer is Yes.
Longer one:
Conditions to be able to deny an ally hero.
1. 25% or below HP
2. Under the effect of a damage per second spell, like shadow strike, curse of the silent, etc. (note: I'm not sure if it applies to all damage per second spells)

Add battle hunger, viper strike to the list of spells that make a hero deniable.

whatabout poison nova? it can't necessarily kill a hero alone like the other dps spells

yes u can deny it but i think u will do it if the heros has shadow strike.

and u CANT deny a hero if it is 25% hp below (only if he has a spell).

The biggest one to deny from is if your ally is under Doom and you know he's gonna die.

IIRC, a hero can be denied if he is under targeted spell(s) that damage per second and the spell(s) must be able to kill.

I haven't seen it happen, but heard a lot about heroes being denied by allies.thnx!!!

noobie question, how can you deny ur ally hero? you attack them when they're about to die from the targetted spell?

i think (not 100%) that only killing dots i.e. doom, battle hunger, and shadowstrike, I am not 100% sure on rupture either but i do know that under most dots you can deny a hero I have seen pudge deny by hooking then lasthitting an ally hero away from things like fiends grip. Also an unrelated question. Does meathook go into faceless voids chronosphere?
