"The Fall of Damnation: Struggle for Survival"

I'm sorry about my last posts: "D'NBA" and "A Potion of Madness: Lesale Deathbringer's Story", those should have continuations. Anyways, if anyone wants to continue them it's fine by me.

This story however i will seriously continue Smile

"The Fall of Damnation: Struggle for Survival"

-PROLOGUE-

*during the period of the Sentinel-Scourge wars*

Dark clouds swept the vast plains and the towering castle of Agrimar as its famous walls are brought down by numerous Scourge armies. The sun hid in such terror of seeing men die the most horrifying death by defending thier most precious abode. They were treated as mere insects by the lumbering butchers who ignorantly passed and consumed all. Hundreds of houses are in ashes, burned down along with its keepers. The streets are stricken dark with rot and bloodshed. It was a dying battle for humans and nightelves alike.

Agrimar lies at no hope...

The last of structures was the king's court which innocent survivors were taken into a secret exit of the castle while few of the bravest warriors remain to give them ample time.

-CHAPTER 1-

Ezalor and his nightelves along with Davion and his human comrades were in total silence as the doors were being pushed open by the Scourge.

*loud banging ondoors*

"Friends, it was with great pleasure to fight alongside with you. Indeed our mutual relationships remain at heart. Though we differ in blood, our bonds wil never be broken by our deaths.", Ezalor said.

"Us too, my friend. Us too.." replied Davion

All readied as the doors were weakening. They were all left with fear, but they did not care.

*doors cracking*

Davion gave the final words as the doors were being broken apart...

"Nightelves and humans, these may be our last days in the battlefield. But I say to you no more will we be pushed over. We will be remembered,"

"WE SHALL GIVE OUR ALL!!!"

*doors broken open*

-CHAPTER 2-

The bravest warriors all shouted in unison as they charged gallantly towards the incoming Scourge. They went all-out and fierce. They fought as valiantly as they could. Every strike taken was returned. Though much as they could, one would die and five would come in. In a few moments, the one's left are the leaders fighting with what's left of thier arsenal.

Evil came and confronted them...

"The great Ezalor and his knight, Davion. I am at outmost surprise to see such famous names be carved in gravestones.", mocked the creature.

"Lich! Demonic embodiments of evil and death. Your kind does not deserve to exist.", said Ezalor.

"I have a purpose, mage. I do believe, though, that yours will have its end.", said the lich. "What's say you, knight?"

"I am not afraid of you.", replied Davion.

"Brave knight, brave words. You still keep your knights' pledge on the brink of hopelessness, tsk tsk. Why not pledge your false allegiance to the Scourge instead?", asked the lich.

"Never, I swore to myself, will I surrender myself to evil!", roared the knight. His ties are broken as he transformed into a powerful dragon.

-CHAPTER 3-

Ezalor, tied down and stripped of his staff, could only watch helplessly as the knight-dragon courageously fought to his demise. He breathe fire all over the king's court and the ghouls coming after him. Nonetheless, more and more came storming in. Ezalor remembered the knights' pledge,

Knight, you shall not cower before your enemies...

Davion swung his mighty tail to fend off more ghouls and skeletons. He threw acidic horns at the necromancers and butchers.

You shall stand proud and tall against the overwhelming damnation...

He burned his enemies wave after wave of incoming enemies. Though he have pushed some back, the enemy pushes alot harder. The spaces are closing in.

You shall strike fear in the eyes of evil...

Much were put back by such powerful blasts of fire and ice. They let their mercenaries pass first and tie the dragon down.
Davion just pawed them away.

You shall be the shield of the innocent and the mighty sword of justice...

The butchers hooked Davion instead of tieing him. Large, burly blades pierced him limb from limb. He was brought down with much force that it shook the room. Then, he let out one dying roar before he was killed and eaten by them damned creatures.

Death will never be an excuse for cowardice but the ultimate fulfillment of duty...

-CHAPTER 4-

"It's your turn, mage", blankly stated the lich.

"I do not fear death, monster! You might as well kill me now! Purist Thunderwrath and my other Sentinel brethren will finally destroy your precious throne and --"

The lich stopped him in his tracks. He peirced one frozen dagger right through Ezalor's heart. Ezalor's shining physique was now gone. His face showed no more expression.

"Pudge, we head back south.", said the lich.

"Yes, master Kel' Thuzad", obediently replied the biggest of them butchers.

-EPILOGUE-

A weary eye watches from the trees as the Scourge army headed their way. He was surprised by such action.

"This is a big problem.", said the figure. He ran deeper into the trees as night approaches in,

But along the way, he noticed another figure following him. He stopped in his tracks. He readied his weapon...

Enemy , he thought to himself.
