Early game harrasment is the key. Use troll and buy 3 blademails coz you can't fight back if fv used chrono. But you can't kill him coz he got escaping skill. It's hard to beat him 1 on 1. Try barathrum with twin bashers.

I suggest you look into Pugna. I don't know all the details of when and where to build up to this item set, but here is a pretty good one for Pugna to face up against faceless void.

Boots Of Travel
Lothars Edge
Aghanims Scepter
Guinsoos
Refresher Orb
Dagon up to as high as you can get it.

So you might be thinking, wow that is an expensive build, and it is, but that is only if the game lasts a LONG time.

If this is 1 V 1 which im pretty sure the questions implies, you can get that dagon early, and Decrepify+Dagon+Nether Blast = EARLY GAME HARASSMENT and a dominated faceless void.

If somehow you don't kill him repeatedly early game, and he lasts until late game. You will still have out farmed him since he force him back all the time with harassment so you can clearly get your big stuff.

Before he chronos you gotta decrepify him or sheep stick him, which ever is easier for you to do rapidly, should be decrepify. While he is decrepified he 1. Nether Blast 2. DAGON!!!!!.those are both pretty fast spells, and if nether blast takes too long, drop it.

OK after your dagon, put your sheep stick to use now he is still useless. Now its time for life drain here comes some more damage to him, and if for some reason his creeps feel like attacking you, you get a life regen. get your timing down, know how long he will be a sheep for, and right before he pops out, turn on your invisibility (see i told you a lothars would come in handy.

Now you are invisible and he will be low health and in need of a heal! Chase him while you are invisible, and after your decrepify cools down (shouldnt be more than 2 second more now) it is up to you when you pop out of invisible. Just make sure your first action is to decrepify him again
pop your refresher orb
repeat the first process exactly, its nice because all your stuff is refreshed even dagon, sheep stick, life drain, and lothars. Not to mention your decrepify for a THIRD overall round of decrepify.

This should kill him easy now lets be honest, he never gets more than 3k life, and with all these spells coming at him with decrepify, he is TOAST!

If not he will definitely have to heal! stay invis until he is gone/your lothars cools down again, then come out and push the creeps in peace


Note: If he time walks towards you and you dont feel comfortable getting your decrepify off on him, just lothars out. But you should be able to get that first decrepify
If he spends money on a gem, just kill him, destroy it and laugh cause he is wasting money he could have spent on some better items.

As if you can move if he get's close. It's hard to farm lothars though. He can simply buy sentry ward. I don't think you can repeat your combo again after casting refresher. Your mana pool wont suffice it.

its just an idea, the point is he is melee and you can cast all your stuff from a range, so its your bad control if he gets close

and dont forget the early game domination, he can't perma-stun or chronosphere you early game, dont forget the harassment.

end game you have 3000-3300 mana pool with fast regen. I think its a pretty viable option, perma stunners are always annoying to deal with, but I am simply trying to come up with a good perma-stun KILLER for pros, not a perma-stunner avoider (IE tank with blademails)

lol its almost impossible if your opponent is good. Just try basher troll build and hope you get the first stun
