Knight Davion - The Dragon Knight

Abandoned and forsaken as a child, the Half-bred Dragon Davion sought refuge from the evils of the world, and from the uncontrollable power growing within himself. His search led him to the doorstep of a mighty Druid, who taught him to tap into the massive energies that lay concealed in his blood - a tribute to his ancient Draconian heritage. A master swordsman, Davion smites his foes in his raging frenzy - transforming at will into an Elder Dragon of destructive fiery rage to crush all those that threaten to vanquish his new home.

Breathe Fire (F)
Breathes fire at enemy units which deals damage.
Level 1 - 75 damage.
Level 2 - 150 damage.
Level 3 - 225 damage.
Level 4 - 300 damage.
Mana Cost: 100/115/130/150
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Dragon Tail (T)
Knight Davion bashes a melee-range enemy target with the fury of a dragon`s tail swipe. Stuns the target and deals minor damage.
Level 1 - Deals 25 damage, Stuns for 2.5 seconds.
Level 2 - Deals 50 damage, stuns for 2.75 seconds.
Level 3 - Deals 75 damage, stuns for 3 seconds.
Level 4 - Deals 100 damage, stuns for 3.25 seconds.
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Dragon Blood (U)
The Dragon Knight has blood descended from dragons, and it grants him bonus regeneration and armor.
Level 1 - Increases hp regen by 1 and armor by 2.
Level 2 - Increases hp regen by 2 and armor by 4.
Level 3 - Increases hp regen by 3 and armor by 6.
Level 4 - Increases hp regen by 4 and armor by 8.
Passive
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A

Elder Dragon Form (R)
Transforms the Dragon Knight into a powerful elder dragon. Gives 25 movement speed boost. Lasts 60 seconds.
Level 1 - Transform into a Green Dragon with a corrosive breath attack.
Level 2 - Transform into a Red Dragon with a splash attack.
Level 3 - Transform into a Blue Dragon with an extremely powerful frost attack.
Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 115

A Green Dragon gives additional 25 movespeed, and has a “corrosive attack” that slows an unit and deals 8 damage per second for 5 seconds. The corrosive damage won’t stack.

A Red Dragon gives additional 25 movespeed, and has a “splash attack” that deals full damage to all units around the primary target. It also has 5 bonus damage.

A Blue Dragon gives additional 25 movespeed, and has an “extremely powerful frost attack” that deals half damage to all units around the primary target, plus 4 seconds of frost effect. It also has 10 bonus damage.

Both “splash attack” and “extremely powerful frost attack” affect damage to buildings, i.e. if you attack the buildings, units surrounding the buildings will be damaged, vice versa.

My 'Realistic' build:

Early Game-
2 Vanguards
Boots

Mid Game-
2 Vanguards
Threads
Helm of Dominator

Late Game-
2 Vanguards
STR Threads
Helm of Dominator
Assault Cuirass

If I have the money and the game prolongs:
Replace one Vanguard with Heart,
Replace HoD with Satanic
Buy any non-orb for extra damage.

Any game with an effectively used DK shouldn't last too long. With the right teammates, tanking with him will counter ganks with ease.

Well that just proved my point the damage and stun increase is way too small. It's not worth maxing it. Stats or even blood would be better than the small damage and really small amount of stun. You need to be lvl 7 for it to be maxed... and the damage is really horrible the duration is ok i guess but lvl 1 is almost as good.

Also putting the buffs on tanky initiators... and so many other things that people don't agree with.

I never said not to get stats... first learn to read thoroughly before you comment i said at mid game you have enough stats (mana to spam all of your skills).

Not really have you seen other characters stuns?

The damage increase isn't 75... are you blind, so is the duration. It's only 25...

Like i said at mid game you have enough mana to use all your skills when needed.... You have dragon form for splash, and enough mana to cast stuns and fire more than twice.

The armor is great especially at mid game.

Look who's talking about dota knowledge. You were the one who suggested to get mjollnir on troll even though he had a huge as.

i need stats for mana u dickhead..and dk's job is to farm till lvl 16..u need a lot of dota educatiön..watch some replays..

i get a vanguard,heart,radiance,bkb,satanic and any boots..the regeneratiön is a waste..u need stats to support other 3 skills..only the armor part is a bit tricky..anyways played him and got 14-10-6 today..

You didn't explain the dragon blood part. If there is no explanation then people won't take your comments seriously.

Blood is just way too good to pass even if you really insist on leaving it, you should atleast get it after tail and fire.

The armor and regen is way better than the stats at mid game since you would have enough mana to use your skills anyways.

I also feel that 1 lvl of stun is enough because the duration increase per lvl is really low.

You're not playing DK's role properly.
From what I read, I don't think you bother about ganking and such with mates.
You're just going solo with those stupid stats.

Helm of dominator is best orb for him.
and i hate this hero.. probably cause my friend always, ALWAYS used to own me with him when i started playing dota.. he got just tooooo much armor.. >=[
