The Morphling, nature's magnum opus, the pinnacle of evolution, can force his liquid body to flow over opponents in a massive wave, forcibly moving himself as well as injuring his enemies. At a whim he may change the composition of his body, trading strength for agility and vice versa. Capable of manipulating his energy into either disable or damage based on his strongest attribute, the Morphling's most disturbing ability creates a literal clone of a chosen target, forcing them to face their own reflection as he crushes them in their confusion.
Waveform Waveform (W)
The Morphling dissolves into his components and surges forward, dealing damage to everything in his wake.
Level 1 - 100 damage.
Level 2 - 175 damage.
Level 3 - 250 damage.

As a slight alternative, how about morphling as a support? Morph everything to strenght, and you have a decent stun? And of course, max adaptive + wave after your first morph. Nuke + stun + tank? Not optimal, but still doable

762 By KNiteman 2013-04-24

@761, Waah you stole my idea. I also wondered how a a pure STR Fat Morph would do with AC, Heart, EoS, Manta, Rad as you mentioned and BoT. Just at Lvl 25 you can reach 3000hp with morphed stats alone.

Has somebody ever thought about using morph as hardcore tanker? rush rad farm early on then morph it all to STR and let burn+replicate (enemy carry) wreak havoc. Pick just one point in morph early and max AS after waveform: a 3sec 900range stun isn't bad. You still carry, of course, only in another way.
Obviously, with Morph's nerf and the Cancer Lancer, this isn't a real game build, but would be fun, right?

New morph become beast now..,....

758 By KNiteman 2012-03-10

EB Morphling might come back since Morph now grants you 3/4/5/6 Str and Agi when levelled up. Ethereal Blast now also has a 80% ms slow, 60% was enough!

I agree with you man>>> nooblet_pwner

i think spectre is good but i think it depends to the pick of other team you know..

spectre is a good pick but morph can farm faster than spec..

spec needs a support "baby sitter" and if the carry of the other team is a range (razor) i think spec can't farm as fast as other carry hero.

i think who said EB makes him instant nuker he is right......wht he want to say is that atleast eb makes morph a instant nuker.....

Also dear help me in survey..., is morph a carry..?

754 By vincent1993 2011-11-25

for your information, just getting a EB does not instantly make him a nuker. and magnataur has such a poor attack speed no one makes him a carry unless required.(no carry ftw)You are trying to say that a 3 man gank will definately kill morph, but in most case, should it able to kill morph also kill magnataur, shadow fiend and the like. maybe except dragon knight and anti-mage,depending on the type of damage output.just a note, during waveform it gives you invulrability and evade all damage

EIOX ur new to dota arent u?or are u just new to trolling?

751 By EIOX 2011-11-25

how many says morph carry???

750 By EIOX 2011-11-25

thanks actually i confused.....becoz skadi is not orb in ranged....

749 By neimi 2011-11-22

dezolator and ranged skadi dont stack.

morph used to be one of the strongest carries cause his ult could target his illusions. not anymore tho cause of nerf.

748 By EIOX 2011-11-17

i use the build....
1. PT (STR)
2. Yasha---Manta
3. Eyes of Skadi
4. Ethereal Blade
5. Stygian Desolator
6. The Butterfly

747 By EIOX 2011-11-17

according to chinese players morphling and phantom lancer are the best carry hero.....idk why ? Lol

746 By slyfe 2011-05-13

if morph still works even though you're disabled it doesn't make you impossible to gank. unless you have an illusion to teleport to since slow does the trick too and if they're having a hard time surely a 3 man gank can kill a morph no matter how good that player is. It might fail though if the enemies are uncoordinated though.

745 By slyfe 2011-05-13

@ nooblet

so you agreed that he's not the best fed hero there is. That was the main argument and that an eb morph isn't that great of a late game carry compared to others since you're basically making him a nuker.

Also magnataur is a great carry he has a really spammable aoe skill and empower, it only has a 12 sec cd... you can cast it on other dps while still being able to cast it on yourself. He's an initiator/carry, it still depends on the build though.

That's what i meant i wasn't sure

In general, morph may not be able to flashfarm as fast as SF, however SF generally isn't given as much time to farm as a morphling.
Just because a hero is nerfed doesn't mean it's bad. If it was bad, nobody would be picking it competitively.
Magnataur is not a carry, he's an initiator. He can deal some damage through empower, but with the recent change of his cleave into an active ability allows him to put the buff on better carries.
Morph is useless? If you react to the gank that means 150~ HP per second. Unless you're in 1-STR mode (founded by [DC]Luminous) then you'll generally survive the initial barrage of spells, unless the enemy has some lion+lina rapeage.
Replicate is an easy way out if you have it. If not, just morphing and waveforming is enough to get away in most cases.
The difference between Morph and QoP/Magina is the morph ability. While both of them have dirt HP pools, morphling has the ability to turn into the beefiest shit ever. That's why he's pretty much broken.
Spectre doesn't deal single-target damage like Drow Ranger. Spectre is a team-oriented carry who causes confusion to team-battles and turns them greatly into your favor. But this isn't a spectre page so we'll stop at that.
Morph works under stun ;_;
If you compare two fed heroes then at least they have to have the ability to farm that much. Not taking that into consideration, I'm pretty sure a syllabear with 12 tier-4 items will beat any other hero.
Rikimaru is also an interesting hero when given lots of farm... backstab basically gives you a free DD! Won't work in 1v1, though...
