any suggestion for rylai??? is she better than lich or not???? what do you guyz think??

rylai ulti can be blocked easily with any stun atk and lich ulti only can chain to 6 units only.
But i think rylai is stronger coz if she bkb then she can channel it without worry
Its only my opinion, i am still a newbie so dun easily believe and i hope u guys can blame or whatever and i am willing to accept all u guys comments.

can someone post a strategy for rylai.
It is really strong if u noe how to use it but i dunno how to use it so well so pls anyone proz pls post a strategy.

Lich's Ulti is the only better thing IMO, because chasing a hero with no creeps its just like Chain frost, and BOOM 370 Damage (I think) x6! but with crystal its like ice move ulti and they have a chance to get away if stunners!

how can u suck with her? all u need is a lothars so u can windwalk and escape enemies and a BoT to increase movement speed so u can flee(and tele). u may want guinsoo for the sheep ability but if u cant afford it, just keep the Scepter of Divinity. a dagon is optional and so is aghanim's scepter, no bonus to ulti but still very good for any intel hero.

Scepter does increase ulti, so definitely scepter.

Scepter increases ult. It even says. Level 4 - Each explosion deals 310 damage.

That's the damage with the scepter next time try reading some of the items.

Aghanim`s Scepter: Passive: Improves Ultimates for Lina, Zeus, Furion, Pugna, Rylai, Rhasta, Queen of Pain, Venomancer, Lich, Leshrac, Lion, Necrolyte, Keeper of the Light, Luna and Orge Magi. Doesnt say Rylai Crestfall - Crystal Maiden in there, but she is an intel hero so its understandable.

ive only had 30 hours of game play and ive only played a quarter of the heroes so far. i cant remember the names yet or skills but i can remember the whole items list easy, just not the prices

and dagger of escape? why do u need that? i can see when u need that for any hero who has true sight, crazy speed or dwarven sniper. the lothars ought to cover the crazy speed or dwarven sniper. if u wana escape those with true sight, then yea, u might want dagger of escape. pay attention to the enemy heroes though.

Dagger of escape is good when used offensively man, blinking into a fight and ulti is pwnage. Some prefer BKB, avatar then ulti so they cant cast spells on u to stuff u up during chanelling.

Rylai is definitely better than lich: 1)both have frost nova 2) rylais frostbite holds them in place so u can nail them with freezing field and not worry about them stunning u since thy trapped in ice, lich has frost armor wich slows enemys when u r atked by thm n gives u bonus armor for a period of time, 3) thy both have mana regen skills rylais is a passive brilliance aura 33% lvl 1 up to 133% at lvl 4, the lich has dark ritual which does 15% of sacrificed units hp up 2 60% at lvl4 & lich has to sacrifice a creep to do it and its a % of ITS hp vs. % of rylais manapool. only difference bsides %tge is rylai gets mana CONSTANTLY over time and the lich gets it instantly by sacrificing a creep for 25 mana. 4) the ulti for rylai deals damage around her for 3 seconds u dont have to worry about stun if u frostbite themwhich lasts the same amount as freezing field at lvl 4 or u can gget a guinsoo which is good for rylai and use polymorph(only thing is the sheep can run away), lich has chain frost which hits 6 targets im not sure if it keeps hitting 1 unit like omnislash on the juggernaut does or if it needs another unit nearby to bounce off of. lich ulti deals more damage depending on nearby units. both are improved by aganihms sceptor which is good but over all the matchup goes like so:

rylai Lich
frostnova = frostnova
frostbite > frostarmor
brilliance aura > dark ritual
freezing field =(

no it doesnt stack and the chain frost doesnt keep hitting the same target like omnislash if you use it on a lone hero it will just hit him once and thats it so I really think that rylai is better than lich

Just made a strat for CM! My first one!!!!

rylai is one of the strongest massive hero with 5 on 5. all u need is an aghanihm a dagger and BKB(optional). let ur allies get into battle first and let ur enemies get their attention on ur allies then blink in an area where it wud it be difficult for them to cast any spell and use ur ulti. frost bit any hero after completing the whole cycle of freezing field and *poof* done.. KO!!

maiden is good hero but she has random ulti but if she has stuner mates that her mates stuns the oppoments who can channel hr ulti then she is painfull..otherwise if her ulti being stunned its a 0...

My Strategy for Raylai is by using Lothars Edge.. Use her Freezing Field skill then imediately click the lothars edge to hide when using your Ultimate Skill so that u'll not be stun or hex.. :D thats my strategy.!

in Late game purchase Aganims scepter ang Hearth of Tarasque or ang items that can increase your health :D

i think her frozt stun makes her bether..

my favorite int hero that never lets me down on any fight. once you casted freezing fields consider them dead and even if they live they'll probably die with a frost nova or a normal attack.. often get double kills with this hero

lothars edge can be handy... and quite sexy ya know..

if 1 on 1.. rylai has no match for lich.. but in team work.. like rylai teameing up with overgrowth and silencer.. even without items they can kill all players.. haha

her ulti is too mana drainin. very fun when 5v5 cos u can frost nova to slow and reduce health, then freezin field to add more damage.frostbite is just to chase fleein heroes in 5v5 or gank

I saw a very nice CM build. She went bot, guinsoo's, bkb, lothars, blink dagger, and sny.

I recommend either lothars or bkb, one or the other because you still want Agahnims.

So all cm did that game was: blink in freeze, bkb ulti. then chase and started hitting with sny, if someone tried to gank her she would just lothars. The sny really helped for her ranged dmg and speed. Gave movement speed, armor, attack speed.

First is frost nova,followed by frosbite...take a distance and then use freezing field...what a wonderful death

Yes Rylai is a strong advisary but on 5 vs 5 most of ur opponent are targeting you making you hard to move.You cant rely to your frostbite cause it can still cast a spell whenever inside that iceberg.

For me is better lichthen she,but she is a ver good hero....

i have a promlem of getting stunned when performing the ultimate. I thought if i cast the ult then used lothar's edge wind wlak no one can stun me or if i play with mirana i'll cast the ult then she will make me invisible can these two ways work?

im pretty sure the ulti is channeling... i tried movin afta castin Freezing Field and nothing happened. and if im right, u cant use lothars or get mirana to make u invis, cos if u deal any form of skill based damage, u lose invis. (i said skill based cos u can use Radiance without losin invis, but when Pudge uses rot, he does lose invis. would be scary if a cloud of rot chased u throughout the whole game and u couldnt attack him)

rylai is a strong player.. just sustain first the need for armor and life.. then its sup or ownage all the way..

u should vangaurd, treads, oblivion staff, skadi , aganimhs, then if enemy melee frost nova then freezing field if range frost bite then freezing field also works with melee. but i sugest frost bite. then u get instant kill or u could do frost nova to hero then frostbite to another hero then freezing field bouble kill fun to do trust me

OMG guys the best strat for madien is huge mana earliy on with frost nove. Earliy game is the best for madien since her frost nova destroys heros. INCREASE MANA AND MANA REGEN RIGHT AWAY

i think CM's main items is BKB and Dagger(blink). you need the blink ability for escape and positioning yourself in the midle of enemy groups while using bkb and ganking.

i also think rylai really needs agahim for the ulti and more mana

but thats the purpose of the aghanims... more mana/health plus a better ulti. --_--, her incredibly small health cap is what makes me want to swap this hero immediately, good support hero though.

Strength heroes have cheaper better nukes! Take Mags and spam shockwave, take Rexxar and spam axes, take Centaur and spam stun, take earthshaker and spam fissure, take Omni and spam heal, Pitlord and his 3 second AOE stun... Tiny and spam avalance. How many INT heroes have stun+nuke skills? 2-3? Now how many STR heroes have stun+nuke skills... 8? 10? Brilliance aura isnt for fellow int heroes its for str heroes.

haix, cm definitely has too gd skills, i believe she MUST b nerf..

she got 3 nukes which do lots of dmg ok,
i dun c other heros hav tat much nukes.
Lina and zeus oso too powerful liao..

but Lina, Lion and Rylai all have great flaws. Low HP and armour, Lion also has a shorter range of 500 I think

i always c ppl own wit her but evrey time i pick her im like 3-5 somthin like that. and i can normally get a couple of kills in the start but can barely manage to support the end cuz im so weak.

good thing her briliance aura is global, very efeftive for sven and skeleton king

she does so good with pugna! i was skeleton king 1ce.. and pugna and CM were my allies.. we were ganking tidehunter! pugna would decriplify then i stunned with my hammer and at that same time CM ults and pugna does his blast.. we ghot him down to like 1000HP.. CM stunned him.. we all atkd then he was gone! this only worked since he had used his ult just b4..
but u gotta realise.. that pugna's decriplify makes the target take 40% or something spell damage.. thats y thhey blasted and i stunned at the end!

she is better if you want to push...killing heros is difficult without teamplay...(i talk about pro games),you can test it with dagger of escape:blink to the other hero do your second spell and do your ulti...if hes not dead you better ran away...

Rylai is'nt advisable for 1v1 plays..

though a very good team player

esp. with disablers/stunners/slow(tidehunter,treant,ursa etc..)

the power of lich and rylai...
you can't choose between them if who's the best....because it only depends on how you use it,how you play, and who are your enemies..
lich and rylai are one of my fav heroes..
in a game(5vs5, 4vs4,etc.) for -ap, if your enemies have 3 or more stunners, use lich, if they have less stunners, use rylai....
for those who think of 'who's the better pusher', the answer is lich... rylai can't spam her skills..

with the orchid or guinsoo item. I would prefer linkens more than bkb increased regen stat bonus If there are two stunners just use your guinsoo to the other one and the linken coul handle the job.
