the order of items i always follow
start of the game:
ring of protectiobn
chicken
tangox1
---
sobi mask(u will have to break it later)
bottle->u should be able to kill some retard once u get ur bottle
boots
ebooster
arcane ring
dagger
complete refresher in whatever order u like
shiva/assult/guisoo whatever u need for this game

512 By mrgamesman 2009-10-27

just to clarify why i dont think it should always be in your build is that it depletes your mana pool (ES cant support it over and over due to poor int), it also provides no survivability, take zkims build as an example: no survivability, except shivas armor and guinsoo stats (which is last on the list). ES core items dont give him survivability and therefore his alternatives have to. Ofcourse after all your core items and so on if the game drags out then considering a refresher isnt bad

yeah i totally forgot about the corpses when i posted it, i apologise for that but i didnt say it was a bad item, i just said there are better items, ofcourse refreshers has its times but that isnt very often!!! so putting it in your build is not worth it unless under special circumstances.

@ mrgamesman and smithers083

Actually, refresher is an OK item on him but I wouldn't get it tough.

For both of your information, Echo Slam bounces also to corpses.

mine

Dagger
Dagon
B.O.T / Phase / Treads ( INT )
Shivas
REFRESHER
Guinsoo

there are much, much better items than refreshers and yes the second Echo will do way less damage than the first due to all the creeps being dead, although if there are 4 enemies then the second echo will still do 610 damage, which is alot for AoE damage (especially if they are nearly all dead because of the first one)but like i said, there are better items!!!

507 By smithers083 2009-10-24

this might be a stupid question, but wouldn't refresher suck for earthshaker? the first time you use your ulti it would most likely kill all the creeps, so it would hardly do any damage the second time...

506 By PsYcHo-.- 2009-10-20

I usually go for caster build :
1.treads int
2.dagger
3.bloodstone(gives alot of mana and hp / mana hp regen)
4.refresher
5.shivas
6.HoT or whatever u want

Once, i ran from my base to the scourge's (all the towers in that lane had been destroyed), and ran across 3 creep waves that followed me.. found nevermore and nerubian assassin waiting for me, used echo - 350 + 65*30 damage.. double kill + 1400 gold instant.. ownage!

504 By EARTH_SHAKER 2009-10-14

It's all situational, no fixed playing..

503 By Pedo_Pandah 2009-10-12

Bottle>Guin/Euls
Boots>Travs
Bracers/Nullx2
Blink dagger (this item helps your team more then people think, if you land a decent ulti on the enemy pushing it will take down about 1/2 their hp or even a solid kill, make sure after blinking in and casting ulti you dont go oom. Your 2 useful to be oom. This is why euls is useful, disable one enemy when they run chase them with bdag, block to stop their counter (with fissure) or trap them on the side of your allies.

502 By EARTH_SHAKER 2009-10-09

It was all discussed previously. NO point spamming builds

501 By slyfe 2009-10-09

I think you got the wrong hero he doesn't need armlet since he's not an attacker. Same goes for bfury.

500 By Shadow~ 2009-10-09

my item build is:
-phase or BOT
-2 bracers
-armlet
-bfury
-heart or refresher depends on enemy..or other else///

my item build is:
-phase or BOT
-2 bracers
-armlet
-bfury
-heartrefresher depends on enemi...or other...

498 By infernape 2009-10-02

BoT
guisoo/shiva depend on how many dp hero they have. If more than 2, get shiva
dagger
refresher if the game not ended

497 By BlinkEchoEnchantFissure 2009-09-30

forgot treads str/BoT

496 By BlinkEchoEnchantFissure 2009-09-30

Actually I'll pick guinsoo over shivas

it's for support for your team, avoid enemies from escaping (blink, silence etc. unlike shivas that only gives slow), and also for you to escape/avoid ganks.

my build is now:
Bottle
Dagger
Guinsoo
HoT

game over by then...

if you still don't think guinsoo is good, here are screenshots of my recent game with es:

1.arcane
2.dagger
3.BOT
4.shiva
5.refresher
6.bkb

u probably wnt finish but oh well=P
tips plz lol

494 By Max_LKC 2009-09-26
