a walking sentinel tower.

i usually use guise just for defencive purposes or a quick gank, cuz maxing out trees early basically lets you get to see most of the important parts of the map by mid game

His item build is really IMO, can be anything, or just really keep improvising on what to get next. If you think you have a good carry on the team, then support by getting refresher than hex/orchid or something.
What I do is I get treads first, maybe a ring of bas if lack the regen and need it most of the time, than a yasha, helps with the chasing and does contribute a bit to your DPS.
But then of course, u want to be the carry, by all means get perseverance (Corr. spell?) or rush rad, then MoM.

qb bracer preserve treads radiance mom upgrade preserve to refresher n the game should be ending if nt get heart/bkb

RADIANCE is AWESOME on this hero
i like maxing eyes before natures guise, cuz those trees are just so damn sexy

571 By theRamones 2010-03-08

I do realize he lacks regen and a mana pool something bad, and I've seen a few trees do fine with lv1 dagon but what else (early game/cheap items) that would help support Refresher. Shivas/guinsoos is expensive and relies on farming. I'd feel save gradually building a orchid maybe.

570 By Alpine 2010-03-08

In my opinion, don't go Dagon -- you can get items like an AC/Shiva that would be a lot more beneficial to your team. Roof is a hero that should be played with the team in mind first, personal items second. Secondly, trying to Overgrowth-Refresh-Overgrowth (with the 0 mana items you've included in that build other than Refresher) is taxing enough on your mana pool, so Dagon probably won't even be cast due to mana constraints.

Thirdly, there's never, ever any reason to level up Dagon past 1.

Last game I only got bracers, (str)treads, hood of defiance, and JUST gotten MoM till my computer crashed on me :p

568 By theRamones 2010-03-08

I'm going to play him a lot in the next week or so, but this is my envisioned build that i partially achieved this past game going 4-2-9 (item wise, btw)

Start with boots+tango (assuming -ap)
I dont know really know a good start but I know my ending. If they have lots of nukers I get a Ring and tangoes.

Mu final build is:
Ptreads(str)/phase
2 bracers
(if needed) Hood of Defiance
Mask of Madness
Refresher Orb (only if i plan on dagger)
and leveling up Dagon.

No Radiance plz.

567 By leriks1296 2010-02-21

I think his ult needs aghnims

566 By Kaiman 2010-02-17

Radiance isn't bad, but Necronomicon and MoM are better.

>

I agree L1 invis is plenty early game. And you can pretty much reveal the whole map in a long game, but I still think against most lineups you should level Living Armor first. Teammates' survival early game is the #1 priority b/c someone who gets ganked a couple of times early might not ever catch up.

565 By PsyChoTicK 2010-02-12

ya lol in oubs its work well

564 By apanblå 2010-02-12

this use to work fine in pubs:
order of buying is
courier
culling blade
3branshes

then send this hit courier:
6 tangos
magic stick
magic wand recipe
boots of speed

buy sacred relic
radiance recipe
BoT recipe
preserverence
finish refreshers orb
HoT
HoT
AC

Go mid in beginning max living armour, get about 50-60 last hits in 10 min, then u will be able to get radiance in 15 min. Farm ALOT, abuse radiance invis in early game. help team fights.

563 By Gasaki 2010-02-07

for early game...lvl 1 invi is good enough. tell ur partner to get hp regen ffs. MAX OUT EYE FIRST

PLANT TREES EVERYWHERE (why? because this means you are like a noncheating mher)

Try it out. by the end ur trees may reveal the whole freakin map

562 By lootbot 2010-02-03

i know what aoe is.. im asking how much aoe the ulti is

561 By raitei20011 2010-02-02

@lootbot
no it does not stop channelling when u move
AOE> area of effect, which mean that when u activate it, a piece of ur screen is affected by ur skill, in this case ur ulti, which entangles enemies

560 By lootbot 2010-01-27

some questions about his ulti
does it stop channelling?
whats its AOE?
