Kardel Sharpeye is a testament to his name and race. Using only his finely honed skills of marksmanship and his trusty rifle, he systematically destroys his opponents from afar. Taking great care to aim for the most vulnerable of areas, he is capable of severely injuring an opponent, and with a little extra time, has been known to simply dispose of an enemy in a single shot. His rifle is equipped with a secondary barrel, capable of launching a short burst of shrapnel at close range, causing massive damage.

Fires a ball full of shrapnel into the air. which promptly explodes, showering the target area in explosive pellets. Enemy units that walk in this area get damaged and slowed. Deals 30% damage to buildings. Lasts for 8 seconds.

@ EIOX well head-shot would be good if you do lots of attack on enemy early game! but the way I play this hero is to focus on farming and surviving early game! and harassing the melee hero if in the lane...

lothar doesnt give u survivability.(180 gold worth of dust counters it)
medallion is a bad item on sniper since ur long rage doesnt allow its use.
MoM is still a bad item on him. compare it to items such as manta, skadi, etc...
a build that is recently shining on him is a force staff rush after pt, 2 wraith bands, and a magic wand.
the force staff gives u a nice dps increase. an escape mech. and some mana for ulti use.

head shot also over rides the bash from cramuim basher btw.

then just turn off the MKB true strike.

MKB's bash however will over ride you bash.
but who cares if its still a mini bash right?

MoM is a bad item since it makes you too easy to kill. your already a free kill if someone gets to you anyway.

atkspd is necessary

but take aim is need for early game..

headshot is not more necessary than take aim. a single level of head shot is suffecient. chance only increases by 5% per level. so its scale is kind of horrible.
take aim on the other hand gives you easier farm/harrass on the lane.
id skip ethereal if i were you.
and take out buriza from the build. when you head shot and crit on the same attack, only the headshot dmg is done. that crit dmg is neglected.

* u guys thinking about ethereal... Let me explain u... This item is pretty new to him.....use :- etherblast to ether form then activate ulti, u will surely get the kill..... And also no need to tell about ethereal comes with lots of agi which means imba aspd and armor and damage.....

@1312 headshot is more necessary than aim if wanna choose between them because 40% to stun and 50 bonus damage is too good for killing ......

head shot isn't necessary early game as you can't stand against them early game and there is not much team clashes. you only need to survive and last hit and earn money for that EoS...in most of my games I buy phase boot and after that go for a ultimate orb (or point booster if you are under so much pressure)...I complete EoS first...

This is a Simple and effective build (:
Agi Treads. Str if against nukers
Helm Of Domi
Lothar (Use to hunt or avoid enemies)
Butterfly
SnY
Buriza

After you get Helm of Domi, go NC or farm lane, when enemies come Lothar away and find other lane to farm.
So basically you will be a very late gamer. However in mid game you can use your ulti to kill some heroes.

Skill build against typical melees
shrapnel max before headshot max,ult lvled up everytime you hit 6/11/16 and take aim prioritized last. Use shrapnel sparingly and only on heroes you think you can kill (for early lvls)
