Ogres, a race bred to be warriors, have no experience with the arcane arts, leaving Aggron, who was born with a rare affinity to magic, without guidance regarding his innate abilities. His own force of will harnesses his talent to produce elemental flames and explosions that consume his opponents. Being a natural warrior, he reaches into his own aggression to fuel his comrades' lust for battle. His savage, untapped magical potential is prone to fiery outbursts which enhance the potency of his spells. A towering force built on strength and magic, Aggron is honored by his people and feared by his enemies.
Fireblast Fireblast (F)
Blasts an enemy unit with a wave of fire. Deals intense damage and stuns for 1.5 seconds.
Level 1 - Deals 80 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 145 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 210 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 275 damage.
Damage type: magical
When Multicast, Fireblast hits the same target each time with a 0.3 seconds interval.
Mana cost is increased by 30 / 80 / 110 when learning Multicast.
Mana Cost: 75/85/95/105
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Ignite Ignite (G)
Drenches a target in volatile chemicals, causing it to burst into flames. The target is under immense pain, causing it to take damage and move slower.
Level 1 - 26 damage/sec; 20% slow. Lasts 4 seconds.
Level 2 - 32 damage/sec; 22% slow. Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 3 - 38 damage/sec; 24% slow. Lasts 6 seconds.
Level 4 - 44 damage/sec; 25% slow. Lasts 7 seconds.
Damage type: magical
Multicast makes this spell have an AoE.
Mana Cost: 95/105/115/125
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Bloodlust Bloodlust (B)
Incites a frenzy in a friendly unit, increasing its movement speed and attack speed. Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 1 - Increases attack speed by 20% and movement speed by 6%.
Level 2 - Increases attack speed by 30% and movement speed by 9%
Level 3 - Increases attack speed by 40% and movement speed by 12%
Level 4 - Increases attack speed by 50% and movement speed by 15%
When Multicast, nearby allies will be selected randomly in an 600 AoE to be Bloodlusted.
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Multi Cast Multi Cast (C)
Enables the Ogre Magi to rapidly cast his spells, giving them greater potency. Gives a chance to cast a spell multiple times in one cast. Reduces Fire Blast's cooldown by 2 seconds per level, reduces Bloodlust's cooldown by 5 seconds per level and Increases Ignite's area of effect by 150 per level.
Level 1 - 25% chance to cast twice
Level 2 - 40% chance to cast twice, 20% chance to cast three times
Level 3 - 50% chance to cast twice, 25% chance to cast three times, and 12.5% chance to cast 4 times
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Gives Fireblast and Bloodlust a chance to cast multiple times and makes Ignite an AOE spell.
Increases Fireblast mana cost by 30 / 70 / 110.
The chances mentioned are the chance to get at least that many casts.
The chance to get exactly 1 cast on level 2 Multicast is 50%, 2 casts - 25%, 3 casts - 25%.
The chance to get exactly 1 cast on level 3 Multicast is 40%, 2 casts - 30%, 3 casts - 15% and 4 casts - 15%.

I saw a vid where Ogre kept getting 4X multicast about 6 times in a row and they accused the Ogre player of Multicast hax, it was lol since the guys were flaming him and saying he should stop with his gay multicast.

There was a video on Wodota with a Mortred being missed by heroes,towers and creeps to a total of 9 or 12.Now thats is great PRD!

Just like any chance skill. 4 sec stun in a skill IS imba, but it won't work always. I've seen a replay of Void backtracking FIVE lightings from Zeus in a row and escape with 50hp.
Actually, that's what makes DotA so fun, nothing is sure. Otherwise it would be chess.

Now with Ogre, you can have a shit game or a good one. You will Multicast alot in one game and fewer in another. Percentage based abilities like bash are unreliable and even with attack speed landing two bashes in a row is unlikeky. Multicast can be imba but PRD renders it an okay skill that I say is based on luck.

Pseudo Random Distribution. PRD for short is actually part of the W3, forget it belonging to Icefrog. Its what define a percentage based ability. http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1238

@396, in 4 casts Multicast wont proc near what you said. Look at the DotA mechanics guide and you will see that Icefrog created a random chance system to counter skills that rely on a percentage to proc. Even if it says 24% bash its not true that it will happen every 4 attacks. You could land no bash or end up bashing for all 4 attacks.

IMO that is quite imba. In 4 casts there will be 3 times 2x multicast that will trigger. Having quite sure 550 damage+1.8s stun is a lil bit OP.

Anyway, for the scepter upgrade, I would rather have a bonus chance to do 5x multicast than an unrefined fireblast. That would be: 60% 2x, 40% 3x, 20% 4x, 10% 5x.

Level 3 Multicast should scale at 75% X 2 / 50% X 3 / 25% X 4. Now that would be a fun ogre to play.

ogre is a good support and ganker..so, i prefer cheap item build since carry need more gold..so, my item build...

-2 null(1010)
-arcane boot(1500)
-urn(875)
=3385gold

i've try it in many game and we owning..
50% regen from urn is enough since arcane boot have give me a lot of mana..


bloodstone is quite expnsive for support/ganker..so urn is enough since it also give survive..

urn=small bloodstone

later on get eul and shiva if we have tons of gold..

(love cheap item)

played him once and i was lvl 16, i did fireblast it did 4x on centaur and after the cd of fireblast i casted it and it did multi cast 4x again, so awesome

it would be preferable for the damage if you want solo kills, but when you gank with your team you dont need to do all the work, just set a stun+slow and let your carry start getting buff. The MS will help you get around the map to help your allies.

It's better for damage early. You need the burst damage of Fireblast, and the slow of Ignite helps you catch up. Multicast obviously has to be taken. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but I think that by taking Bloodlust early, you're losing out on damage over time and more slow, while also using more mana. The slow should be enough to catch up to an enemy without the need for Bloodlust.Anyway, to each his own, I guess...
