When the Sentinel first gathered their forces, The Troll Warriors were considered primitive and unreliable. Their pride wounded, many refused to join, some even considering siding with the Scourge. Only a hotheaded young Warlord called Jah'rakal joined the Sentinel. Known as "Blinding Axe" in troll tongue, both for the blinding speed of his axes and his trademark blind technique, his unstoppable rampages have already made him a legend among his Allies. However Jah'rakal fights not for the Sentinel, or even to defend the Ancients, but to show Elves, Men, Orcs and anyone else that trolls are the best fighters in the world.
Berserker Rage Berserker Rage (G)
Jah`rakal goes berserk, using his throwing axes as a melee weapon. He gains bonus damage, hit points, armor, and the Bash ability, but can only attack at melee range.
Level 1 - 10% chance to stun for 0.8 seconds and deal 20 bonus damage and stun.
Level 2 - 10% chance to stun for 1.2 seconds and deal 30 bonus damage and stun.
Level 3 - 10% chance to stun for 1.6 seconds and deal 40 bonus damage and stun.
Level 4 - 10% chance to stun for 2.0 seconds and deal 50 bonus damage and stun.
• When Jah'rakal goes into melee mode he gets the following bonuses: +20 Movement Speed (+30 at level 4 of the skill), +15 damage, reduces his base attack time to 1.55, the Bash ability and 100 extra HP.
• The stun goes through magic immunity.
• Does not stack with Cranium Basher.

Whirling Axes Whirling Axes (D)
Troll is a master of the axe, learning axe skills in all forms of combat. When in melee form, summons magical axes to whirl around him in a circle. When in ranged form, Troll hurls a fistful of axes in cone formation.
Level 1 - Gains two skills, one active at a time depending on the current form
Level 2 - Gains two skills, one active at a time depending on the current form
Level 3 - Gains two skills, one active at a time depending on the current form
Level 4 - Gains two skills, one active at a time depending on the current form
• The two abilities are independent: you can cast one, transform into your other form, and cast the second ability immediately.


Whirling Axes (ranged)

Description: Troll hurls a fistful of five axes in a cone shape. Axes travel up to 900 range, slowing enemy units by 30% for 3/3.75/4.5/5.25 seconds and dealing 75 damage.
Cooldown: 20 sec.
Mana Cost: 50


Whirling Axes (melee)

Description: Troll unleashes a set of magical axes which whirl around him in a circle. Nearby enemies take damage and have a chance to miss on their attacks.
• Axes deal 125/175/225/275 damage and give the enemy a 60% miss chance.
• Axes last for 4/5/6/7 seconds.
Cooldown: 12 sec.

Fervor Fervor (F)
When Jah'rakal engages an opponent, his animalistic nature grants him even greater proficiency in single combat. With each continuous blow on the same target, Jah'rakal gains understanding of the prey's defenses, increasing his attack speed by 20 per attack.
Level 1 - Maximum of 40 attack speed bonus
Level 2 - Maximum of 60 attack speed bonus
Level 3 - Maximum of 80 attack speed bonus
Level 4 - Maximum of 100 attack speed bonus
• If Jah'rakal changes targets, his rage counter drops to half of where it was.

Battle Trance Battle Trance (R)
Jah'rakal unconsciously uses dormant magic to awaken the savagery of every warrior on the battlefield. Greatly increases attack speed for a short duration, and lasts twice the duration on Jah'rakal.
Level 1 - Increases attack speed by 60%.
Level 2 - Increases attack speed by 100%.
Level 3 - Increases attack speed by 140%.
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 20
• Only works on allied hero units.
• Does not affect illusions.
• 5 seconds (allies) / 10 seconds (self)

Ok guys ill give u the best explanation why troll warlord sucks.
1)when u pick troll everybody picks a diabler or stunner
2)if ur playing a pub game noob lanners will eat ur gold
3)Almost 80% of the time they are going to target u
4)The only way of earning gold early game is laning(u cant shit ass jungle )
5)In a clash they will take u out first

I have never said I don't know how to play TW. I have owned with him as well as many other characters. Looks like you need more experience to get what we're talking about here. Anyway, this is getting off topic, so just go another discussion. I'm out of imagination right now so someone please post something creative, or at least something that makes sense.

After seeing ripguns bible where troll is a creep like unit...i can answer all the point stated by him but now its enough for me, I continuosly replying now I m tired enough. ... I just want to say that lets play ur game and I play mine, I cant convince every dota player at a point, I can say the only reason behind saying the troll a non carry is the play those who cant play him to his core could only say him a anti carry or other kind of stuff... Surely I cant teach how to play him from here... So no discussion further...for me its a better carry than other so called carry.., lastly u know guys one more thing to consider for u is that ur carry should hav this n that, this mechanism and that mechanism like escape frow ganking while farming n all that is just countered by one cheap item say orchid. .. .. .n ur hero so called great carry fucked easily.... So guys be happy with ur great carries.....

Jah'rakal, kinda a tongue twister to scream out loud. Well anyway, I like a hero that can change attack range at will but he just lack that extra 'umph' to make him a great hero. Yay for whirling axes, misses, bash, slight hp + armor, slow, AoE damage, AS, a cool hair cut, fun to play '$!GH' he just lacks a proper place, he kicks a$* and takes names but there just isnt enough to make me say he is worthy of my play style. Pubstomper - YES! Comp play - No, NeveR, NOT EVER, do I wanna see him there! Just too heartbreaking seeing a cool guy get killed.

One more thing, where did you hear that Void's Backtrack Evasion gets canceled by MKB? Its a proc'd heal, so its not MISS chance, it basically heals the damage you take before you take it. Also, escape mechanisms most of the time draw the line for life or death for most carries. So, an escape mechanism IS one of the must-have's for a carry, IF he wants to farm without getting killed/feeding.

Sure his attack speed is awesome, helping the bash to proc, but Attack Speed can be improved with items. Also, there is a cap in Attack Speed, so Troll can't reach higher Attack Speed than other carries late game, where he is supposed to shine.
Reason #5: His damage is not better than other carries, meaning that there are other guys suited for the job better. Sure, Rage gives him extra damage, but still, not enough.

Farming 2 Bracers will delay your cores since you can't farm fast, meaning that you will stay underfarmed for pretty much the whole game if your enemies have the slightest idea of what they're doing.
Reason #3: His so called "Early Roshaning" with Dominator and a creep is no better than Lycan's and Ursa's, meaning that there are better heroes for this situation.
Reason #4: His Bash may have good stun duration, but it has only 10% chance to proc. Void/Slardar's bash has 25% chance.

Alright, I've heard enough of his blabbering. Now let me explain to you in FULL detail why Troll Warlord SUCKS in 80% of games.
Reason #1: Troll has no reliable way to farm early and his manacosts are hurting his manapool if you try to farm with Axes. With support he can kill early but only if opponent is stupid.
Reason #2: Troll has terrible STR gain. Sure, he gets some HP from Rage but still not good enough. Combine it with his not having an escape mech = easy target for gankers.

-Troll has no escape mech.
-Troll is a 1v1 hero.
-Troll NEEDS his items.
-Troll can't do jack early.
-Troll is a perma-bashing anti-carry.

Troll works well ONLY if you happen to have farmed, which involves a lot of effort, since you're easy to gank (no escape mach and all).
Agreed, though, with good farming, (better than enemy carry) you can take the game.

Also, 1 thing, this guy destroys towers. 5 heroes+creeps beating on a tower after winning a teamfight at 60/100/140% Aspd, means dead tower

Take 2 or 3 CP and problem solve for early game and I farmed pt and helm in 9 to 10 min then bkb in other 8-9 min,. .buddy its upon u how u play a hero... Most ppl nt comfortable with troll so they trolling on him continuosly.. .i played so many clans and won by him only.....

I said EARLY GAME. In this metagame, early game ends at level 7 usually, meaning you have NO 275 damage. Also, did you SERIOUSLY just ignore the fact that your int gain is worse than shit? Sure, go spam it on creeps during early game. Let's see how much mana you have left for heroes.

LOL, okay, so your carries have no escape mechanisms? How then, if he's farming and is ganked? You expect them to let you run off unscathed. RELIABLE carries can get away. Troll, in 4/5 occasions, will not.

Troll is unreliable. He has no reliable escape mechanism, no reliable way of farming early game. He doesn't even have a gap-clearer. Say he has a slow so he can run up to the enemy, sure, but then so does PA and FV, and PA has PS and FV's slow comes with his Timewalk which, by the way, makes him invulnerable. Slowing heroes does not mean they will let you just walk up to them.
