A malicious Drake tamed by the Lich King himself, Viper is a fierce, acid-spitting beast whose speed and agility surprises the most hardened of warriors. Cursing himself into a maddened rage, Viper charges into battle without regard of his own safety. his salivary glands producing stinging poisonthat causes enemy to writhe in pain, severely damaging their nerves. Be careful when facing this powerful monster... its dark silhouette may be the last thing you see.

@474 Why does everyone say the dagger is good for getting away? Once you take hero damage you can't use it for 8 seconds. Given that I don't see how that the dagger is good for escape. While Lothar's on the the other hand can be consistently used for escape, even if they see you still you still have 0 collision and 20% increased speed.

why would you up glaives early game? even if you did (dunno why you would), they give no harassing value cuz the dmg is reduced 35% each bounce... plus luna's low base attack, the damage will be next to nothing by the time it hits viper. obviously viper destroys luna at lane control. he has more range and an orb (free harassing) which also slows.

Is luna a better lane controller than viper? i believe viper can harass luna at early game ryt? but luna has glaives so i dunno? guyz who do u think is more advantageous?

sniper vs viper.

sniper can pawn him,
the only item that can make viper stronger than kardel is vanguard.

viper with vanguard really makes sniper's long range attacks worthless.
and when he gets close, harass then bye bye.

a good luna user vs a good viper user,
luna has more mobility in a 1on1 -om game.

viper can harass her early on, but she can easily counter it with her eclipse.

and she has more lane control than him.

youre right, luna can pawn him easily.
my friend challenged me to play with him 1on1. it was random and i got luna and he got viper. just one use of eclipse with lucent beam at full lvl he died.

lol I thought using the orb would dispel silencers curse. Thats one I can use :]. I suck with OD so, no. As for panda, building him to counter viper will hurt him by mid game :/ Thx

Counter to viper? Panda works well because of his evasion and good HP, OD works well because banish steals all his mana preventing him from ulting and readily orb walking. Silencer is great too because before level six he can't dispel cures of the silent.
