BoT=67 damage... And considering treads has 30% IAS, treads is better...

if he and tiny teamed up,, its an unbeatable team!!!!!!!!!! i tried it yesterday playing with my friend... our base was almost gone... then when we teamed up,, they have nothin' 2 do but run!!! even bane elemental is on his knees 4 begging!!!!! hahahaha!!!! i'm a filipino!!!!!!!! mabuhay ang pilipinas!!!!!!!!!!

This pig is a hero killer though he lacks strength at the beginning of the game. He shines at level 11 and up, just be patient. I tested hyperstone out of curiosity on him with other supporting items like, Threads, satanic and 2 bashers, and dagger of scape and it's great! It ended the game up with me not able to complete the HoT. Total pawnage. I was even god like with zero deaths. But he's no match with enchantress coz I played 4v4, I dominated the allies of enchantress but I didn't even have a single kill on that fuckin enchantress haha!! Coz Untouchable (even at level 1) sucked barathrum's speed . Attack speed is his key power to pawn heroes.

Lol uber items for this hero are
1)Sange and Yasha
2)Boots of travel
3)satanic
4)assault cuirass
5)heart of taresque
6)heart of taresque

the speed increase stacks with 2nd skill for very fast speed and also extra damage and the satanic will lifesteal for all the time that isnt maiming(90% lifesteal) lol these items pwn

Don't get bashers because you greater bash overrides your regular bash. It works but it's a waste of money and slot imho.

Mom could be a 4th item. +75 % attack speed would meant ownage with your greater bash.

The bash of this hero(the graphics) can be intimidating. His lvl 6 is also good for finishing off the hunt. I have to disagree when people say hes bad with 5on 5. He compliments the early killings when going against heroes with small life. Underestimating this hero will cost you your(worthful, satisified, benevolent?) yet at the time of the end seemingly useless life.

They should have made Barathrum as an AGI type hero... Don't cha think? You can also give him a Butterfly as a replacement for S & Y even though he's a STR type... Trust me, you will totally own if you have this together with Radiance!

Barathrum is one of the easiest heroes I've used. Good skill synergy and a good supportive hero unit. Those bashes will drive your opponent's nuts. I don't usually kill until I get Nether Strike, and I only get the first skill after I finish the second and third skill. For him, I'll give a 9/10. Good for new players to use.

This is a 1 on 1 hero killer
However, he can't really do much if they are pushing your town.

Anyways, get the following build:
1) Ring of regeneration & Circlet of Nobility (this should be enough to survive and farm in the beginning)
2) Power Treads (once you get this, you must go around ganking people when you have the chance. Ping on the map so people can help you)
3) Black King Bar (almost every game has 1 or more disable/stun enemy. This will interrupt your bashing and hero killing. Get this item to stop them from interrupting your kill)
4) S&Y (provides Movement speed and attack speed)
5) Hyperstone

By this stage - the game should be almost over.
If not, get assault currias or heart of terraque as your last items.

A strategy for Barathrum..
Str and Weakness

Barathrum can only kill cottonballs on the map such as a wandering zeus, traxex etc... on other heroes? centaur? Tiny? nah!!

I was playing with a good barathrum once. He started killing my teammates across the map... bloodseek, tinker, mortred... Then he charged me... im Beastmaster with only 600+ hp left! at lvl 10 i only have 2 items in my inventory.. Arcane ring and Kelen's dagger... Barathrum has: PT and Sange, Yasha(uncombined)...

Heres what happened:
I summoned my trusty quillabeast and waited at my tower.
I saw him charging at me. Before he hits me, i blinked at his back cancelling the COD. then primal roar and wild axe... before he knows it... he cant kill me. His attacks only tickles me. Why? My brave quillabeast got his Movespeed down lowering his dmg!! haha!!

Someone said "dont charge across the map becoz the enemy will just do tower hug or TP to the fountain"

BARATHRUM DOESN'T CARE IF YOU DO TOWER HUG. HE'LL ONLY CHARGE YOU IF HE KNOWS HE CAN KILL YOU EVEN WITH A TOWER AROUND. DUH!!! HES A STR TYPE!!

Skill guide:
- CHARGE OF DARKNESS:
- can deal heavy damage becoz youll be on 522 MS... a combination skill with empowering haste

- EMPOWERING HASTE
- +Dmg will be done as you run towards the target. Try it on creeps. There will be dmg before your attack

- Greater Bash
- is cancelled with any other bash (0.1s) or (1.6s) MKB or basher are not suitable

NetherStrike- Deals heavy dmg at first strike+ stun. 522 ms when you do netherstrike... that means +dmg with EH.
(I've tried Buriza hoping for netherstrike to do critical... i failed)

Item Guide:
Fast attack- Few hits -Pure MS

P-Treads = more MS
Sange&Yasha = More MS Aspd Str and Agi
Assault Cuirass = More Aspd + Armor
Satanic = Imagine Netherstrike doing lifesteal! Yeah Instant Hp up

then final slot can either b another heart or assault curiass or vladmir's offering. vlad's good for farming and heart and assault are great for hero killing
the key thing with SB is that he is an assassin. in the beginning u might die a few times but toward the end he is unstoppable! wait till u see a hero on the map thats decent health [1500 or less] charge him and then attack. u should get a few pushes off. when ur opponent is down to red, use netherstrike cuz they're likely to either stun or blink away. netherstrike is amazing! cuz when a hero tries to run, u pop up behind them and push them away from the direciton they were about to run! its sooo usefull!
dont get tooo cocky. kill one or two heros then run, then COD again to get back into the game.
i suggest starting with boots then upg to treads
sange first then yasha
combine
get vital booster
and then reaver
to make HoT
then helm of dominator
then reaver
to make satanic
kill roshan round lvl 20

SB has soo much health it is unbelievable that he's such a good assassin but he is and its crazy

i could kill an earthshaker 1v1 and a pudge 1v1 [two amazing tanks]
i had like 2.5k health so i was unkillable and the only reason i died twice was once during early game and then it was 3v1 and i died cuz of zues's spells

and btw, kill stealing is soo ez with this guy! haha

oh and have u ever noticed that when charging across the map, SB becomes invis? like phantom assass invis. he's just a dark shadow u dont see his body till he strikes, u have to charge for a while [like top to bottom] for this to happen but its crazy when it does [ms is still 522 but SB looks cool!]
oh and another tip
try to get a hero kill by lvl 6
u should b able to charge a cocky pusher from the other team and then nether him for the kill
then just run out, u should b the fastest hero on the map with haste and treads

The best strength harasser in DotA when equiped with double basher and sange and yasha. He can finish heroes in only 5 seconds after nether strike!!!!!!!!

pthreads, 2x basher, MOM. charge first then activate your mom you should be able to do alot in the 2.5 sec stun since it moves you right to your opponent. if he tries to escape use netherstike.

Manta Style images also have bash ability.

i think manta should just be a bonus item if the game pushes through. with 30% chance from bashers + BS's natural bash + bonus damage from haste and attack speed from MOM, you will be killing your opponent fast.

manta is good, cos the clones gain the greater bash, meanin perma stunlock.

i just played this hero 3 times in a row. i'd say he is an early game killer especially when your opponents are low hp agi or int heroes. with only pthreads and two bracers by lvl 8 or 9, you can already pawn your opponents easily. just use netherstirke, then hit 3-4 times. most low hp heroes will already die. if not, then charge and hit. it will be a sure kill.

if ur lucky enough to rupture this hero in mid charge, its an instant kill for him. its pretty hard to stop immediately online. u will lose around half ur life b4 the game actually responds to ur stop.

A great item for spiritbreaker is definately Mask of Madness. You nether strike, then frenzy and u bash like crazy. Plus, MoM increases your ms so that when you attack you deal even extra damage becuase of empowering haste... Plus lifesteal always..

this guy is so awesome.. his greater bash is the best thing.. 2day we had a leaver in our team right.. he rage quit so it was 5 v 4.. and it was -arem round! so i dno y but i was the only tank in the game and every1 else was intel besides juggernaut on their side.. this guy ROX agains intel.. any intel this guy rox i swear.. if u r vsing a pro obsidian or witch doc or lightnin spirit etc.. this guy is the man 2 take them out.. u just charge.. and if u got MOM or hyperstone.. keep bashing.. then if u c theyr beating u (if its 1 v 1) then u ult! i hate seeing kids ultying right at the start! whats the point!?

Mask Of Madness is better than S'n'Y Because when its activated it gives 15% move speed which is 10% more than S'n'Y, and a 75% att speed which is WAY more than S'n'Y and it last long enough for you to get a kill. The speed bonus grants more damage with empowering haste as well so i'd go MoM over S'n'Y anyday.

Instead of getting cranium bashers, try this:

1. power treads
2. hyperstone
3. Heart of tarrasque
4. hyperstone
5. Any item of your choice
6. Any item of your choice

I tried this. With 2 hyperstones you get greater bash very very often, instead of the cranium bash.
With heart you also do decent damage.
I know its a expensive build, i used it in 2v2. It depends on, maybe you should buy something else before heart?

anyway there is a counter glitch to kill this uber hero!!!!

wat u need:

-scroll of tele or
-Chen tele skill xD

this glitch work only if u know wat ur doin! is easier to use this glitch if u got MH sry i know u not supppose to use MH but it help! well anyway when ur being charge or chase! u can counter atk him by teleporting but u can only tele when he's about to hit u and a second or 2second before u disepear he probably hit 2wice or once but dw u still be teleported and be save and earn exp if u tele to ur fountain!

cause ull be bringing him wit you to ur base..nice bull^^ it can only work wit this hero since his the hero that chase and stun and push u around like a bully his skill stack with tele skill thats y he got tele to wit u xD

by the way u don wan to tele to fast cause if u do he might cancel charge halve way before touching you... there also a fuk up glitch that can kill u too if he try to tele to his fountain and this only work 2% of time cause u got to use it and percise moment!!! when a hero is atking u while ur trying to tele when ur about to disepear u click on the hero that atk u so u atk him and u might think it cancel ur tele but no as soon as u hit both of u are teleported to the base and fountain or u can kill him is a good one on one kill easy money xD

omg this just got in while i was playin this hero not only can u tele 1 hero but more than one! how u ask when u atk like i say to the atkin hero u can choose any of them but they hav to be meele cause range will wont work! if ur lucky on the atk u will push ur oppenent and then a instant teleport happen. wit u and all the atkin people rite in ur base xD funny try it good luk though

Easiest hero to kill when he is lvl6. Just buy scroul of teleport and when you know he is about to ulti then just teleport to your fountain.

This is one of the easiest heros to use. I usually get the following items:

Don't buy The Butterfly for this hero, its just a waste of money that has no benefits compared to buying S & Y.

i hate heroes that rely on percentages to be usefull (spiritbreaker, magi, merc, etc.) and i also hate facing them, because whenever i play as them, i can't multi to save my life, but when i face them, i get bashed 3 times in a row and then ulted to death XD

By the way, are you stupid to whoever thinks that BoT are better then treads. Do the math, you get 16% of the additon 35 ms , which is like 5 damage. Treads do more then this just based on the str bonus.

can any one suggest a hero, that can kill barthrum on 1v1 game, i need some strategy, as i have lost many times against this hero when i play with my friend, this is the only hero i have difficulty in owning, no one else can stand against me. just because of his greater bash.

1v1 there are some who can can beat barathrum or be beat by him. depends on how well u farm in the game

Barathrum is a very powerful hero. If u use it wisely in a match he'll become a perfect killing machine 4 ur team. Combined by speed, bash n a nether strike he is pwnage. I've been using n facing this guy n I notice some way to pawn with him n some way to kill him.

great item 4 farming n hp regen, i prefer this to RADIANCE, since it is cheaper n restore my hp.

Use him wisely, don't get trapped n ambushed or gangbanged. Make sure 2 bring at least one hero 4 smashing.
Now the WEAKNESS.
I notice a nuker hero will bring death to him. One of them is LION THE DEMON WITCH. With stun, hex n ulti combo plus items like dagon, Barathrum need to work hard to kill LION, if he can.

You can have S&Y and Vladimir's offering, cause Vladimir is not an orb effect. However if you want Satanic in particular, you have to choose between it and S&Y; It depends on game situation, man

Imo, the build I always go for if I am playing Bara (who is one of my favourite chars + I always carry with him ) is usually:

Ring of Regeneration

x2 Bracers

Power Treads (Strength of course)

Sange and Yasha

Heart of Tarrasique

Then if the game is still going on, I would get Radiance.

If you have 3rd skill learned....when you cast ulti on an enemy hero , you will have a 100% to hit him with Greater Bash ? + with his dmg from ulti , I think this is kewl

Increase damage by 16% of his movement speed , can someone explain how this works

His ms with travels + s&y is 467, so his 16% bonus dmg is:
16*467/100=74,72dmg.
But when Bara accelerates his ms is 522,
so dmg is a little bit more: 83,52dmg, but only for one hit :D
PS.
With power threads + s&y: 70,72dmg.

Also you can try get BoT + S&Y + Eul:
491ms, with out charge, and 78,56 bonus dmg.

Personally, one of my favourites... Great hero killer+greater basher
Item BUILD??

1.2 bracers (dmg & hp early)
2. Mask of MADNESS (lol.. ur permabash spd)
3. Sange & Yasha (movement spd, stacks with MOM & slow)
4. Butterfly (....More attack speed)

And.... that's all u need. Many people think that MOM & SnY can't stack, but its false. They stack partially that's all! When Maim procs, no life steal, movement spd is not orb so it stacks).

Sorry.. Forgot power threads. Between threads and bot.. pple have diff views.. Do u want movement speed or Att speed?

I'd Go for power threads instead.. & I'll make it right after my bracers.. Mid game harrassing, MOM & treads are all u nid for a permanent bash)...
