A celestial being summoned to aid the Sentinel in their darkest hour; the Storm Spirit chose to manifest itself in the life essence of a humble elementalist, Raijin Thunderkeg. Though the Pandaren's soul perished during the profound surge of pure electrical essence, the divine entity even now seeks refuge in Raijin's body, unable to thrive on its own. However, despite its mortal imprisonment, the Storm Spirit is far from being limited of its tremendous powers. Able of manipulating vast, inexhaustible sources of energy in mysterious ways, it swiftly hails destructive sparks of lightning upon the Sentinel's adversaries, eradicating all that dared to cross its path.
Static Remnant Static Remnant (R)
Raijin creates a remnant of himself containg his essence. The Static Remnant will release its stored energy whenever an enemy unit comes near it. Lasts 12 seconds.
Level 1 - 140 Damage.
Level 2 - 180 Damage.
Level 3 - 220 Damage.
Level 4 - 260 Damage.
• Damage type: magical
• Static Remnants take 1 second to materialize after this spell is cast.
• Remnants have flying vision and can see over cliffs and trees.
• The explosion actually hits units in a 260 AOE, but will only be triggered by units within 235 AOE.
• Area of Effect: 235

Electric Vortex Electric Vortex (E)
Storm focuses his energy to rip open vortex drawing an enemy to it. This process slows the Storm Spirit down for a brief period.
Level 1 - Pulls 100 units over 1 second.
Level 2 - Pulls 150 units over 1.5 seconds.
Level 3 - Pulls 200 units over 2 seconds.
Level 4 - Pulls 250 units over 2.5 seconds.
• This ability slows the Storm Spirit by 50% for 3 seconds.
• This skill is blocked by Linken's Sphere and can't target magic immune units.
• Casting range: 300

Cooldown: 20
Overload Overload (V)
Storm Spirit becomes overloaded with electrical energy whenever he casts a spell. The charge is released on his next attack as an electrical burst, dealing damage and slowing nearby units.
Level 1 - 30 damage.
Level 2 - 45 damage.
Level 3 - 60 damage.
Level 4 - 75 damage.
• Damage type: magical
• Overload slows all affected units' movement speed by 80% and attack speed by 50% for 0.6 seconds.
• Using items does not trigger Overload.
• Area of Effect: 300

Ball Lightning Ball Lightning (G)
Storm Spirit becomes enveloped with energy, losing his physical form, and travels until he depletes his mana or reaches his target. While in this form, he deals damage to nearby units based on how far his electrical form has traversed. Damage, speed and area of effect improves per level.
Level 1 - Moves the Storm Spirit to the targeted location doing 8 damage per 100 units traveled at 1250 movespeed.
Level 2 - Moves the Storm Spirit to the targeted location doing 12 damage per 100 units traveled at 1875 movespeed.
Level 3 - Moves the Storm Spirit to the targeted location doing 16 damage per 100 units traveled at 2500 movespeed.

Cooldown: N/A
• Damage type: magical
• If the Storm Spirit runs out of mana while traveling he will stop immediately.
• Initial mana cost: 15 + 7% of total mana pool.
• Mana cost per 100 units traveled: 10 + 1% of total mana pool.
• Instant cast abilities can be used while traveling.
• While using this ability, the Storm Spirit is invulnerable.
• This ability destroys trees.
• Area of Effect: 150/225/300

StormSpirit's role in the game is mainly a SEMI-Carry indeed... with his skills, its obviously 'built for the kill', and he has disable too that makes him a fine supporter (you know? -->SEMI-carry)

in team clashes, Raijin is one of the "feared executioner" for he can easily penetrate to enemy ranks to dispatch 'heavy supports' or those "heroes behind team formation(mostly INT-types and CASTERS)"

with proper items: ulti -> surprise + vortex + remnant = fine kill, if not use ulti back to safety

1. this guy only gets stronger as the game goes on.
2. his ROFL has insane potential but requires a lot of mana (comes from items)
3. his remnant can deal insane amounts of damage due to low CD

10. get Bloostone on Storm after you get some other stuff or if youre just raping the other team. if not, then FORSAKE it. too situational of an item to be gotten every game...

5. buying either void stone or ring of health and going mid is dumb. worse than boots + tangos in fact.

6. early stat items are pivotal to any game

7. Bloodstone is not a BAD item; it requires you to be around many kills to be effective (like i said, it should be gotten on those who spam spells)

8. Hood > Bloodstone on Pudge any day. you can also turn Hood to Pipe and be incredibly more useful.

9. HoT and Bloodstone arent comparable, and HoT has superior hp regen (but no mp regen in return)

1. Bloodstone charges are EASIER to get now, and harder to lose all of them at once.

2. You should only get Bloodstone if youre heavily mana dependent and gank a lot (DO NOT GET THIS ON PUDGE -.-)

3. Getting Bloodstone on ES is like getting Vanguard on Tide. and ES's core item is KELEN'S DAGGER, dont try to argue saying that Bloodstone will ever replace it...

4. Pudge needs strength, so if he goes Aghanim's he can be more effective. and all that mp regen is overkill on him (only 2 spells)

well, like most mid solos, get some STATS (branches, circlets, gauntlets/mantles) and some CONSUMABLES (tangoes, salves). one tango is enough to get you past a missile.
your situation is about the same as the people who start with bottle but 10 times worse since you dont get the 405 HP bottle users get. plus they get to runewhore, meaning spell spammage on you. that again means a)you go home or b)you stay and die.

on your fountain trip VS goes ganking again, doing her role unlike you. you come back, playing possibly a lv1 vs lv3 or lv2 vs lv4, definitely significantly weaker than the other mid solo. classic mid solos like nevermore and tinker will eat you up like food with combo. after combo, you either a)die or b)go fountain AGAIN. no gold, no exp. ladidadida, VS comes back and stalks you again. you STILl get no gold or exp. you just dont get a break, do you.

now everyone knows mid solo is supposed to get extra gold and exp, but you're not cuz you're too busy either a)eating missiles or b)running away. im absolutely sure a VS is willing to stalk you cuz trading a support ganker for a midgame carry is definitely worth it. lets say she gets a missile on you, whacks you, you go half HP (no STR or regen). you either a)go home at lv 1 with no gold or exp or b) stay there and get owned by VS and the other mid solo. either way, you're screwed. on your fount

okie dokie mr. pro, lets have a scenario, shall we?
storm heads down for mid solo with a void stone. doesnt creep block, he's late buying that voidstone. walks down there and half the creeps are gone. storm is either a)waiting for next wave, fighting lv.2 vs. lv.1 against other mid solo. or b) walk down river trying to get some exp and gold. here comes a VS and prepares to missile. you either a)run away or b)eat the missile and lose half your HP. running away results in no exp and gold. now

bloodstone is a bad item, since it doesnt give more lifereg per charge any more.

for earlygame only get a healthbooster and finish your int items, then upgrade to hot when nessecary
