pit of malice + dark portal = gg

wow backdooring for the whole team. i think this could get pretty bad. if the portal is opened at the pit lords fountain and into others base, almost instant regen, team backdoring, and the other team cant follow you back through or they get owned by the fountain.

sounds like a good all around tank though, not as much str gain as i would have thought

Well i see one problem and that is mana...
look at all his skills they cost WAY too much for his mana pool and int gain....

Dark portal is not very good for backdooring. My experience is that when you activate it, there are pings immediately on the map and there is vision of the portal entrance/exit. Any competent team would carry a scroll of tp to counter Bone the 'invisible' backdoor king, what more such a 'visible' backdoor 'ability'.

Guys you are stupid if you can't see how this guy rules. Allow me to explain for you stupid asses.

Firestorm: This is great for killing a big creep push while you tank them with your massive girth.

Pit of Malice: This skill will hold enemies in place while you hit them with your other skills or while your team mates hammer them.

Expulsion: This really helps if combo'd with Pit of Malice. Bind them in place after killing a bunch of creeps then explode the bodies. It will do big damage to most low hp heroes.

Dark Portal: Yes. This can be used to backdoor, but it isn't a good idea since it takes a lil while to open the portal and the entrance and exit are both pinged when the spell is cast. This is better for bringing your allies to the big mid push or escaping to the fountain.

Now, a good build would be....

1.Treads
2.Vanguard
3.Lifesteal
4.Battle Fury
5&6.Heart of Tarrsuqe

this hero is good pusher
firestorm at lvl 4=instant creep wave kill. His Pit is good too, can use to stop people from running, help you run (mostly because whenever a enemy enters it it holds them for 3 sec. expulsion is good too but hard to hit heros with it because it takes 4 seconds before corspe explodes. (ONLY IF THEY ARE NOT MOVING)

portal is FUN. you can bring your whole team to your foutain or bring them to defennd. bad part is that it is hard to enter. (you have to click the middle of the portal to use.) oh and if you gather all your units( pitloard and portal) when you look at the bottem of the screen you see this guy smiling xD

Sometimes enemys are newbs and enter your portal when you summon from your foutain.
Or when one of your teamates are being pound on and cant move, summon your portal over him/her and all he/her has to do is click on it.
When you put your portal over a friendly hero who isnt moving and a enemy hero trys to atk him/her they hit the portal and enter your foutain.
(I've done this countless times and it works most of the time xD if you do it right )

THis hero is easy to farm with. you gain alot of casheasy. Farm a battle fury then vlar. You dont need mana, all you need is mana REGENERATION with these two items you would have all the mana you need to use firestorm and pit.

Items i recomend are
Boots of Travel-for speed/chase
Battle fury- for damage,farm,and regen.
Vlar- regen,lifesteal, and armor.
Sange and Yasha- Slow,speed, and atk speed. Also, pit only last for 3 sec., you cant kill a hero in 3 sec unless they suck or they're weak. you need this for solo kills.
Butterfly- atk speed and evasion (recomend)
Heart- hp and regen (not recomend)
Radiance- damage, little evasion, AoE damage, chasing, and farming.

The only down side of Dark portal is the your enemies can see where you portaled to. But it is used in your base half the time, so it doesn't really matter. It creates an actual "backdoor"...XD.

As for the butterfly youdienow123, it's is really not worth the gold for a str hero.

i powerpushed 2 lanes with this hero once when my base was being attackd, portal one lane and portal other lane, i pushed all the way to their tower and defended base with BoT YEAH!

Best AOE in game i like him

or portal+pit+fire+explusion if u got the mana is imba

Best AoE? I don't think so. Tormented Soul is still the best AoE hero. But this is about Pit Lord. Love the model, the sound file, and the ulti. One of the coolest heroes so far. Wonder if Roshan can enter the portal?:P Don't think so because creeps dosen't go through right? Would be funny though, to have Rosan running back from a base to his lair:D To bad you cant kill him outside his lair because Dark Seers Vaccum could be used to pull him to the Scourge Secret shop.

Teleporting into enemy base without your creeps is actually banned. Hope you guys don't attempt illegal stuff.

if you put ur ulti near your firebush so when ur allies go through they are healed but when uur enemies go through.....DEATH!!!! lol i havent played him but can you do that?

I just played this guy and finished 11-3. Hes used best if you build him like an intelligence hero.

i've been thinking a while and i think all the first skill is synergized well ! Lets say there is an Terrorblade going to attack you with his creeps. You just use the pit skill and use firestorm to kill all the creeps and then Expulsion comes out .. BAM-BAM -BAM all the creeps bodies explode leaving terrorblade dying.. I don't know if this combo can be done though..

He's imba.
Firestorm is one of the best AoE skills in the game, it deals huge damage compared to a lot of other skills.
Pit of Malice is like Chronosphere that doesn't affect allies and buildings.
Expulsion deals huge damage especially mid to late game when everyone is in a pushing frenzy.
Dark Portal is a bit too strong, during team battles anyone who gets low health can go through the portal to heal for a while and come back, and also allows your entire team to backdoor which is hard to counter if a group of 5 heroes are focusing all their firepower on a single tower.

tormented souls aoe skills suck compared to pit lord... arcane ring fixes ur mana, believe me. i never had to go to fountain once i got arcane ring (except to heal, but i also had empty bottle)

Wow, this probably my most favorite among the new heroes. Dark portal is simply amazing and very useful for ganks.

His firestorm is just amazing, all creeps within range that gets hit by the 6 waves are sure dead meat.

great lane control. Here is how you dominate ur lane: cast nukes on enemy -- tele back to base to get mana -- make it back before gate closes -- cast nukes -- repeat. I tried it myself, works pretty well. U need to increase ur mana a little bit for max effects. hf gl!

This new hero is pretty imba, especially when used with any other AOE ally. Pit of Malice is ridiculously good, it stuns any enemy hero and covers a huge area. it's immediately one of the best disables of any hero. Combine that with TWO AOE spells... build him like INT hero to solve the mana prob & he's very imba.

u can push two lanes with him. all three if u buy a refresher. its great, i tried and dominated his tower with super creeps. no heroes attempted to destroy the tower

For some reason I can't use the portal skill in the game... I mean I make the portal but I can't make the otherone... could someone explain to me how to use this skill??

@stilpon, here's how you use it: for example you're at the fountain and you want to go to the first tower in the top lane, just click dark portal and click the area where you want to go. Wait for 4 seconds and voila the portal is open. Move your character to the center of the portal and *poof* you're on the other end.

its easy to hero kill with this hero, just harass a lot with firestorm and once the enemies hp drops below 1.5k or so, use pit of malice, firestorm, expulsion. Dark Portal is purely optionally if u dont want them to escape

Yup, exactly. Just harass and go for the kill. 3 seconds time from the pit of malice is enough to rip apart an enemy. MKB or assault cuirass would be good to increase attack speed, though.

This hero similiar like LUCIFER. All spell can be click, no passive. But he is strength. Big problem is this hero has low mana pool.. WHAT IS THE USE OF DARK PORTAL? IT IS LIKE TOWN PORTAL?

YOU NEED EYE OF SKADI, HEART OF TARRASQUE,

6.44b is now released. DP has been nerfed. It officially sucks now.

You can only pass through the DP once and you can't cast DP from/to your base.

team this up with treant and they become unstoppable

great hero....problem is only a few understand his true potential...alot of people say this guy's weak...but from the way i look at it this guy could become a serious threat if used properly...

You can only cast Dark Portal on an explored area. You can skip Pit of malice unless it is necessary, its casting time is too slow and is useless against ranged heroes. Saw this hero getting owned easily by ranged heroes like Kardel, Travex and Bone.

Battlefury is not necessary as you can use firestorm to farm each wave. However, this hero is evil in the sense that they can teambackdooring, esp if they have Bone to scout the entire map early. Would be good as a support/team hero.

I have some problems using Pit Lord, at first I dont quesytion hes a great hero and RULZ, but i also think he's very weak at low lvls, to little life for the look he has, he should've been like centaur... buut anyways... the portal i havent been able to use it, i cant find the entrance and exit as weird as it looks.... and what coan u buy to this fella besides vanguard¨??

Pit lord isnt a very good hero killer. Any player with sense would run out of his effects b4 they take full effect. He is good at team battles though because if they run out of his spells your team mates arent getting hit and the enemy is. The best strategy for this hero is to use firestorm to get alot of money early game. In a 5v5 match i got a radiance in less then 10 minutes.

I agree, he's not very much of a hero killer. But he is very fatal as a team member because of his ability to push well. Just give him enough mana and he can spam his way in any lane... hehehe

just use ur ulti afta successfully pushin one lane and switch to anotha which needs a great pushin. u cant cast it at base anymore, but u can cast it close to

Guys, i think Pitlord should get a dagon first cuz he farms real quick then get a euls so = 3 second stun + 2.25 vodoo time together with the rain falling on the hero plus you whacking him ath the same time. Think its gr8 for kill. Dun forget you have dagon

i used to love dark portaling to their fountain to my fountain, cos they were forced to walk through if they were at base :P

Why the hell isnt there any guides for the new heroes yet? They have been around for a couple of weeks now surely people have writen them. I can only think that they havent been approved.

in the 6.45 version pit lord can use dark portal anwhere from the map i normally use it at the fountain and where the enemy oppenents push or gang bang cuz they would go in as well and they will end up at the fountain. But in 6.45b they can only use about 1000 aoe

he doesnt need damage items. he needs str items like HoTs or vangurads and some mana regen items or radiance all his skills are supporting the team, there is no killing skills all he have is damgeing skills which is not high is like back up damage. he can go with killing hero combo like sand king or other heros dat have wide range aoe skills. first u use firestorm then expulsion in the position that u would think ur openents got to be and use pit of malice when all of ur teams are there ur oppenents probaly gather together in group and when ur oppenent becomes corrupted then let ur team do the damage u might get lucky tripple kill if ur team damage ur openent about 80 hp left or less.

The pit lord is more of a team hero than a solo ganker.....

Firestorm - only hits if someone stop the hero (furion), cuz most of the time the hero will run at the first wave
Pit - good for PL and Chaos so they can whck the hero, or it can be used to cut off enemy's escape route
Expulsion-good, but very hard to use since it takes a lot of corpses and the explosion is kinda slow.
DP - i dunno how to execute this skill properly. COuld someone tell???? PLZZ....

This guy is great w/Enigma, Enigma's Black Hole sucks in corpses for to explode w/ expulsion.

its so easy to use this hero though, just get boots of travel, arcane ring, a heart, a hood of defiance, a perseverance (linkens if u wana but i prefer refresher.

push one lane, after push to their base, use dark portal, afta that lane is pushed, BoT to anotha lane. all 3 lanes pushed, with refresher, u get two more charges of free tele

with that build ur super tank who pushes all 3 lanes at once and when needed, can call upon ally heroes with dark portal to continue pushin.

maybe people should realize that you cannot use all of his skillz and get his full effect,
either go for a farmer or a nuker, and then pick the itmes accordingly

Guys, as i said, though i haven't really tried this before cept the dagon part, get this guy to buy dagon first, then up Guinsoo = 3.25 sec of polymorth + 3 sec stun = 6.25 sec disabled
if your firestorm is lvl 4 = 70 x all 6 waves = 420 Dmg + you whacking him = 200 or so dmg + dagon = 1020 dmg! dun forget if you had expulsion him as well in a place full of creeps = 80 x 6 sec = extra 480 dmg. bb any1 with lousy health. Imagine a deso too with him.

in 6.45 his ulti was changed d.above description is not rite anymore. his ulti now works like BoT. means u (only) can teleport to one place after u click on creep or building. actually it can teleport ur nearby allies too but i tried b4, still dunno how

Pit Lord is not a hero killer, He is pushing, battle casting tank, and a very good one if you build him right. This is my build

Clarity Potion x2
Arcane Ring
Vangaurd
Boots of Travel

At this point you can farm all lanes and keep your towers alive and stop pushes

HoT
Assault Curiass (you can get the assualt first if you are having problems with low hp/high damage agi heros
and lastly....
You can go with any item you want really, another heart, radiance, linkens, mkb, bkb, euls, depends on the situation.

alchemist is supposed to farm until late game and then dominate, this hero is supposed to push early like eazlor and leshrac. then push anotha lane with DP,

Gay hero. Neva like this hero. Pure supporter hero. Buy BoT even better then his ulti. 75 mana only instead of 300. that sucks man. Which hero can't afford 75 mana?!! Its not like all of his allies are going to be in the same place with him to use his ulti. ZzzzzzZzzzzzZ.

Shittest hero in history, no damage... His only imba skill is exploding the dead bodies but that takes 4 sec b4 it actually starts to explode. Unless the other guy is like absolutely noob to the max, anyone with half a brain will walk back by 4 sec.

DP teleports all heroes, pit of malice keeps them held in place, so u can use firestorm and expulsion without them fleeing. pit of malice should stun though, because it just keeps them held, doesnt stop a channeling spell. (ie, ezalor, pugna, enigma)

i dont think he will own 5 heroes at once, even with a butterfly, his attack speed only becomes everyone elses base attack speed, without the help of their items.

cast PIT first(make sure the opponent hero is in the area where you cast it) then FS, after that hit ur opponent 1 or 2 times, by then there should be creeps killed by ur firestorm then cast EXPULSION.i tried it

assume this is late game. pit of malice = 3 second hold, firestorm = 420, expulsion = 800, assuming a single creep wave has 10 creeps.
total is 1220 damage, but that damage can be reduced by armour and spell reduction.
pitlord is one of the worst in actual combat cos he attacks so slow and at late game, his damage is quite pitiful compared to the average hero.
unless ur fightin heroes at late game with a max of 1000 health, then maybe he could kill 5 heroes at once

what you do is you max out the fire and stun and get stats for the rest of game, you get boots ring of regen and basilus plus nui talisman early
then you get s and y plus assualt curras plus crystalis, (then get ult for that too)

Uppdate this plix. Just a thought here: Maginas Bkink is like Blink Dagger, Frost Arrows is Skadi, Finger of Death is Dagon and Pit Lord's Dark Portal is a Scrool of Town Portal? :O Later on it's BoT. WOW! Worst hero so far tbh.

@ bruno_89 pitlord portal is like scroll but imagine a scroll u can go back and forth in and bring your team with you this can be used for a gank, escaping, backdooring =) ect. so when used right i disagree that its a bad skill and pit lord is terrible pit + expulsion and rain of fire = poned. if not portal in front of them and kill them as they run. o btw if u portal in front of them and open it at ur fountain sometimes enemys accidentally click the portal and end up getting killed lol.

He is a fearful hero (just take a look at his teeth ). I will only get his ulti when my team start to push. *push like a crazy fella,kill anyone who tries to stop us,when my team gettin low hp use portal and back to the fountain then back to the push* I don't get his ulti before the push is because early game is more on farming and lane controling so having all the team to withdraw isn't goin to be good.Better to spend a little gold for town portal scroll .Furthermore his skills were just too good.

@ Firesky. You know that they chaged the ulti right? When i said it was like a scrol i really mean it. You can just teleport to a freindly building. At 11 and 16 to a creep (aka BoT). You can ofcourse teleport your team to but they got to stand next to you. So backdooring is no longer as easy as before. And BTW DS UPDATE THIS PLZ! How hard can it be to update the heroes? That's why you use this site.

Someone make a strategy for this guy!

On a 1 vs 1 match. Go for a boots of speed, a few bacers n a vanguard at the beginning part of the game. Next go for a Power Treads first to boost his atk n movement speed. At the mid game, go for a SnY n a Skadi. From now on, this hero is hardly killerble. Now get on farming for gold to go for a HoT n a Satanic. At
the ending part of the game, u can go for a Assualt, Battle Fury or MKB. Its all up to u. I hope u guys like my strategy for this hero.

KillerMaster S&Y and melee EoS are both orb effects DO NOT use both at the same time

Why not use SNY and EOS? It works. Well you get skadi slow on normal hits and when maim proc you don't. I use 2 orbs quite alot, like Satanic SNY and such. It's not like you are ruining your attack or something.

killer master uses no mana items **shakes head** u cant expect to farm ur items much then.
i get SnY with Skadi sometimes, only for the movement speed though on fast movin hero like lycan or nightstalker.

I get EoS and S&Y only on ranged heroes because ranged EoS is not an orb effect and there is no problem

gettin a EoS on any hero is rare anyway, becos of its outrageous price. its only those who can farm well get EoS.

ive only gotten EoS twice in my dota life, once for klinkz and once for sniper.

i had nothin else better to buy on the klinkz, i think i filled up all my slots with all lvl 4 items + boots of travel.

70 minute games r great.

For me this hero is great to use, first off in a 5v5(AR) game get the empty bottle, then farm for PT, Arcane ring (Or Ring of Basilicus), very fast. Then get S&Y, and BF, wait for enemy push, near your tower, cast Firestorm and Pit of malice (In that order) then move in to hit any hero, and sure double kill or more. Try it.

Game will probably be over when you gotten those items. And Pit Lords role is not to do damage with attacks so SY is total waste of money because the item is basicly crap. BoT would be a better option then PT and SY. Arcane ring is good and after that you may want to get some HP like heart or linken. After that maybe Guinsoo. This hero is support all the way and not a damage dealer.

the ulti isn't dark portal anymore i think... I think it's called dark rift now and it just teleports the whole team to where a creep or building is... Still useful but not as useful as dark portal... I'm not sure about this but that's what I saw in 6.45

SKC build is quite possible to do, since he is a pusher/farming hero. rather easy hero to play, but doesnt actually contribute many kills in a 5v5 battle, mostly deaths.

though leagues dont allow it, u can just buy items for ur allies, instead of for urself (of course, u would buy some escape items like Lothars Edge and Dagger)

This guy is crap. most people under utilize his ultimate, which is only good at last level, really. He is basically only good for creeping and assisting your friends. He will lose 1v1 vs. anyone, and in a 2v2 situation he isnt all that decent. Only big kills i've seen with this guy is when he is with his whole team and gets the last hit on heroes because of his aoe.

i have been using Pit Lord for the past week and i'm getting pretty good with him... the items i get are:

1. Arcane Ring (to spam 1st skill)
2. Battlefury (to increase farming capacity)
3. Power Threads
4. Any late game item (HOT, Cuirass, etc.)

Basically what you do from early to midgame is farm. During midgame you could gank... preferably at lvl 11.. His ulti now targets a specific unit or building then teleports you and all nearby allied heroes to targeted unit or building... Very funny when you and 3 of your aliies teleport to an enemy while he's farming like crazy... Some good allied heroes are Warlock, Enigma, Treant Protector... then some hero who could kill a lot of enemies quickly...

pitlord is one of my favourite heros, now that they gave him better int gain, and with the new items he rapes. Just as an idea to the best items you can get:

Battle Fury: you dont really need the extra farming skills, but damage and regen is nice

Dagon: early game this is great, extra mana and adds the extra bit of damage when you need it

Orchid: Perfect. increased attack speed and damage, 15% amplify damage and silence, and more int.

Shivas Guard: not a big fan of this one but it does the job, AoE slow/nuke, -armor aura, added int. more of a support item

Very high stats at start, strong str, and awesome dark portal! expulsion is useless until like really late games when ur pwning enemy and they cant see the thing. Pit,expulsion,fire= rippage. My thoughts:
His role would be 1) pusher, 2)AOE secondary damage dealer 3)Initiator(could be), 4) tank and disable. This is important because after he unleashes his spells, he'll have nothing to do but to hex someone, then just wait and hope for his team to mop up. IMO, he is the best farmer w/ arcane ring. Firestorm = 400 - 1000 gold. Now that's farming!

All this guy has going for him is farming. He barely ever gets kills and he has to be against a team with minimal stuns to be any good. People with blink/movement skills own this guy.

what if instead of vlads you were to go mask of madness to increase as and speed so you can gain 75% as while they are in the pit then use the masks speed boost to chase down.
i could see dark portal being useful after your team roshans or putting it in a large battle to have an escape if things go awry

I tried this hero for the first time today and he suks at hero killing well for me he does, but even without killing heroes i make so much money At the end of the game i got 2 null talismans, 1 hyperstone, curaiss, radiance, and BoT

Then here I have a problem with the Pit Lord, with its ultimate rather... When I cast Dark Portal, the portal (where normally, heros can cross) do not last even 0.1 seconds!

theres no problem mate, if u want to use his ultimate to port ur team mates to an area you should ask them to gather around you 1st and then use his ultimate, Dark Portal has been changed in 6.45b due to some backdooring issues, also u can use DP to escape from ganks ( Pit Of Malice to stop everyone around u, then cast DP to ur base or to ur tower anywhere u want you'll still be ported even if u get stunned, not to mention DP can make teams push 2 lanes at the same time ;)

pit of malice may seem like a nice skill to start out first as your combo but no, always cast your other skills first (firestorm and expulsion) because 3 seconds isn't enough time to cast both of those skills and let them do enough damage. most people just walk out of that area, so cast your firestorm and expulsion first then malice so they will stay in that area and get damage for 3 seconds.

i dont really agree with TestSubJet cuz Pit Of Malice can save you from deaths and sometimes can save ur team mates too in early game..... also he can be a good way to kill other heros with ur team if used right....

Early game he is one hell of a hero killer, equip him with a lane with a slower, say medusa. Get behind the hero, cast firstorm s that he will be exposed when he is running away, as he is getting away, pit of malice. GG.

Late game, he is not a hero killer, but an insane pusher. He can destroy every creep wave. period.

Haha no strategies until now? If I only know how to make this strategy guide then I can make it. This Pit Lord is one of my best hero now. Not just early nor mid game but a hero killer at the late game. I only use his Dark Rift for gangbang or ambush and especially for escaping. This hero is one of the best combo for Treant Protector. Over Growth + Fire Storm + Expulsion + another Over Growth w/c means Treant has a refresher Orb then Pit of Malice. He needs BattleFury for damage cleave and hp/mana regen then Radiance that is not just for farming but for killing. Ang last item that is very important for him,, Heart of Tarras. Bow

terrible terrible terrible terrible.
the ONLY good thing about him is his farming skills, which are not so incredibly amazing... because you can kill a creep wave with nevermore by pressing x, c just as easily. and that's instant damage not this damage over time crap.

First of all, never get this hero in -ap. He just cant do anything, as most heroes in -ap are killers.
If you random him, repick him . He is not a good hero.
So the only way u get him is a repick.
In this (unlucky) case ask for a swap .
And if noone wants to (naturally) here's the build. Azgalor is a PUSHER (at least imba in this thing) and should be played like this:
-Arcane ring for spam Firestorm
-BoT to travel through the map and push combined with your ulti.
-2 Battlefuries as he's a farmer and pusher.
-Radiance the same as above
-HoT for tanking
And last tip: Try to avoid battles, teambattles or solo. He just can't do anything

You can use him as a good support hero
Batllefury
Mekanism
Quirass
Vladimir ( if your allies are melee )
HoT for tanking purposes

I know that most of you players say that this azgalor sucks. But I really like this hero. His farming skills are very good. Enabling him to buy many items to kill. Also he is good in team play like gangbang with other nukers. Lich, Void and Treant will be enough to be the best combo for him. Chrono + Firestorm + Expulsion. Pit of Malice + Chain Frost. Over Growth + Fire Storm + Expulsion + Pit of Malice. Maybe Azgalor is not good in Early game. But you can buy him a bottle and a crow early in the game for effective farming and at the same time to harrass.

Hm, interesting. When the INT gain was below 2, I used to think this was the worst designed hero in DotA. That, and the portal was iffy at best.

Now, though, Dark Rift is much easier to use and still retains most of its functionality, and the buffed INT gain actually lets him use his spells.

So, I played with him a bit, and just went 17-6 with this guy. Sat down and wrote a guide...in the final stages already after just a couple of hours.

Pit Lord really should be remade...it's the weakest Hero in Dota...it can't really kill at all...and talking about pushing a lot of heroes who CAN kill do it even better...

Greatest Farmer and Tank

Firestorm kills full hp creep waves. (if not just whack once with bfury and kill)

Bfury for its mana regen. you'll find that you can use firestorm every wave.

firestorm + pit of malice can be a good hero killing combo early game. level 4 firestorm does 70 damage per waves(6) = 420 damage and 20 dps.... which pit of malice helps you hit all these waves.

If you find bfury's mana regen not enough, just get a sobi mask and it should be fine

for all those ppl who have trouble killing . think of pit of malice as Treants ultimate.. level 4 pit = level 1 treants ulti ... except no 85 damage per second. but thats where your firestorm comes in... and firestorm damage will surpass treants ulti.

its almost like having treants level 1 ulti every 22 second.. i consider this skill even better than treants since enemies can use skills... pit doesnt allow them to use skills.

@ jwangxxx To use pit lords ultimate u have to target the location without using the mini map and wait for the delay from the cast.

On another subject the problem with the Firestorm/Pit combo is that if you pit first you can only get off about 3 waves of storm before the enemy runs and you'll have a hard time catching them, so i suggest use storm first then pit.

Above all else, he's the ultimate base defender. Nobody wants to charge into a base knowing they'd get stuck for 3 seconds if they do, underneath the raining fire and among the exploding mini-stunning corpses. Who's willing to charge a base knowing the whole team is waiting, and they're about to be disabled for 3 seconds + damage??

no no no, bfurry is a waste, you can already mop up a full wave with one firestorm.. ESPECIALLY now that the AOE is huge, there's no creep wave you can't destroy. Use your perseverance to make a bloodstone instead, that's all he needs.. mana and survivability. shat out your skills to dominate lanes/assist allies, hope you have good allies, the end.

I disagree...the Pit Lord doesn't need extra mana, just more mana-regen. Bfury helps not only with this, but it helps you own anything you trap in the Pit. Guide out very soon...

i just think you benefit more making a perseverance into bloodstone instead of bfurry so you have more health. about the same gold, and i'd rather have a ton more hp than being able to deal tiny splash damage to... i presume you mean heroes caught in pit? if you do 100 damage that's what, 33 splash damage? wooptie-doo. support and survive. let your team kill.

radiance-HoT-shiva suits all he needs

shiba, fury and a radience. and lastly a hot to finish the job. He doesnt need that many items.. though his ulti kinda sucks. It'll be pretty cool if there's a shorter cooldown. But otherwise...

I go for fire and pit first, boots of speed and perseverance, treads, dependig on my enemies fisrt i go MoM or BF, after both tarraske and thats it u own, he has good hp high base damage and when casting first use fire, then pit and at last expulsion, enter the pit, activate MoM and GG

go for fire storm and pit of malice.. get both level 4. after that, you'll be the best hero pusher in the game. u may get arcane ring for the mana.. always use the two skills together.. i'd tried it and it worked well. i was able to buy vanguard, dagon 5, PT, BF, HOT and satanic at level 20.. true.. and that was 5 on 5..
i bought dagon because i had lots of gold and it served as nuke for escaping heroes. btw, he has no nuke skill thats why.

Pit Lord is IMBA early game and with the right teamwork and the right items it is a very usefull hero with tanking and pushing capabilities... im considering making a strat since there is no1 and this is one of my mains :D
