Among the elven mages, she outshines all others. Jealous of her natural talent, she was accused by an elitist council of setting eyes on the forbidden scrolls. She barely escapes their persecution. Hungry for vengeance, she aligns herself with the Scourge. Minerva is a force to reckon with. Her innate skills of stealth and magic proves her more than just another lowly caster. Calling the aid of the southern winds, lighting arrows descend on all who opposes her. She can travel through the sparks of warfare and vanish without a trace. Her knowledge of the forbidden scrolls and mystic arts together with her own physical prowess, she proves her overwhelming power in the battlefield. |

Zurculuz Bolts (R)
Seven lightning arrows shoot out from Minerva's palm inflicting massive damage. The closer the enemy, the more lightning arrows will hit. Width:50 to 500, Length: 300.
Level 1 - Each arrow deals 15 damage and .1 micro stun.
Level 2 - Each arrow deals 25 damage and .1 micro stun.
Level 3 - Each arrow deals 35 damage and .1 micro stun.
Level 4 - Each arrow deals 45 damage and .1 micro stun.
Mana Cost: 100/ 120/ 140/ 160
Cooldown: 12Framework: The arrows will spread out from in front of Minerva in a triangular shape. The arrows go through creeps damaging everything within the AOE. The effect is similar to that of Davion's Breathe Fire but replaced with violet arrows spreading out. Notes: Basically a nuke that's more effective if Minerva is directly in front of enemy hero. It's damage weakens as the arrows spread out more. |

Increases MS by 30% for 6 seconds.
Mana Cost: 60/ 50/ 40/ 30
Cooldown: 60/ 45/ 35/ 20Framework: Once the skill is activated, Minerva instantaneously teleports beside the closest enemy. But when it is auto-activated via an attacking hero or creep, she displaces herself towards the farthest ally within the designated AOE. |

Ba Ji (N/A)
It is an ancient fighting style that she learned whilst being persecuted by the elven mages. It deals consistent and precise blows that blocks incoming attacks in the process inflicting incredible damage.

Additional damage last 5 seconds from the time of the attack. After she releases her sword, the buff will end.

Max additional damage is 225. Additional damage last 6 seconds from the time of the attack. After she releases her sword, the buff will end.
Level 3 - For 12 seconds, she gains 50% damage reduction (i.e. melee, ranged, magic, etc. except chaos). Turns received damage into her own attack. When she receives 700 damage, a powerful sword will shoot out from her soul dealing 300 damage around 200AOE and 500 forward range. There will be a buff indicator that shows that she is under Ultima Magus. Notes: The concept is, damage me and I'll damage you more! When she reaches a critical state, like loosing 300 damage at level 1 of Ultima Magus, she'll release a powerful nuke in front of her.The buff will be deactivated when the time runs out or she receives 300/500/700 damage respectively. Note that that's the time when she releases her desperation limit and release the nuke.

Discussion:
Let me introduce you to Minerva Thal'as. Fast and power never came in a smaller package. She deals an insane amount of damage while reducing damage taken. Some of the ideas were basically recycled or inspired by some other nonsense I thought would be at least useful in battle. Skills: Zurculuz Bolts - an AOE skill which is more effective the closer Minerva is to the target since they will deal the full blow of all 7 arrows. It also serves as a farming or last hit skill. Though it seriously lacks power for it. Audacia - a displacement spell with a fairly small range but effective nonetheless. It goes without saying that the range needs to be tinkered but the cooldown is fair about it. It also serves as an instant escape skill. Great for ganks. Ba Ji - Within a very small AOE around Minerva, almost all enemy attacks are rendered ineffective. She's like a walking smokescreen. The armor reduction is good too. Ultima Magus - Reduces enemy damage taken and uses it against them. What could possibly make it better? How about the fact that it also shoots a large sword. Very, very scary. Synergy: Main Combo Then... With... Then... With her high int gain, you can also use this combo Then... And... Then... With... Items: Suggested Inventory... First off... early game, levels 1 - 8 in this case. Minerva has a fairly good mana pool and have no need to spam skills, for now. But it wouldn't hurt to start with Ring of Basilius and some Ancient Tango. You'll really need to survive early game to get some momentum in getting key items. After early game, with some good farming and ganking, you'd have something like this... Now for mid game experience (levels 9 - 16), Dagon is an essential item. During clashes, its better to finish of one of the enemies fast than to risk receiving more damage and dying. Use Ultima Magus to your advantage and kill off high attack heroes often. It's almost a sure win when done right. After mid game, your inventory should look something like this... Minerva isn't much of a late game character but if it does last that long then its time to put that Point Booster to good use and make an Eye of Skadi or Bloodstone or both. That finishes up my summery for my hero idea. Hope you guys loved reading it as much as I had fun daydreaming about it.
Thank you guys for entertaining my dream hero. Thanks to dotastrategy.com and hiveworkshop.com for the icons, hero ideas and the resources..
