A master of the earth, Megadon is not to be messed with. Once a member of the Mountainhorn Clan, Megadon learned many techniques of his race. His father, Grolavim, taught him how to master the manipulation of the earth. But the invasion of the Lich King’s Scourge begun and endangered his race. Many died because of advance armaments of the enemies, and because it is new to them, they were easily banished. Megadon was one of the unlucky survivors, who’s whole race has been destroyed. Megadon seeked revenge and created a weapon who’s whole purpose is to search, destroy and crush those who opposes him. Mastering the techniques he learned, Megadon is able to strike his opponents from afar by throwing massive boulders at the enemy. He is also capable of unleashing a mighty roar that causes the land to erode, making its opponent's chances of escaping dull. Megadon also uses his giant halberd, which he made from the very rocks of the volcanoes and the steels of the earth, to crush his enemies with limitless force. But the powers within him becomes stronger everytime he eliminates his foe, and he uses this force to manipulate the land below, causing random volcanic eruptions around him. After his long battles and search for a place to live, the Sentinel offered their land as his home. Megadon agreed and promised to use his powers to protect the World Tree and to eliminate the very enemies who destroyed his proud race.

Rock Shower (C)
Megadon uses its might to grab a massive boulder and tosses it at the enemy with great force and also stuns the target. He is also able to grab several rocks, and the stun effect increases at the cost of the damage.
Level 1 - Grabs 1 boulder, 1 second stun. 100 damage.
Level 2 - Grab 4 rocks, 1.2 second stun. 75 damage each hit.
Level 3 - Grab 8 rocks, 1.6 second stun. 50 damage each hit.
Level 4 - Grab 12 rocks, 1.8 to 2 second stun, 30 damage each hit.
Mana Cost: 80/100/120/140
Cooldown: 25 seconds

Framework: Megadon stomps on the ground. At level 1, throws only a single boulder, like Roshan's, but bigger, but at level 2-4, much like Kardel's scatter shot.

Notes: Good for hero chasing and for the casting delay of enemy heroes.

Earthen Roar (R)
By unleashing a mighty roar, Megadon softens and erodes the land, which decreases the enemies' movement speed by 25% while on the area of effect.. Last 10 seconds.
Level 1 - Has 400 AoE.
Level 2 - Has 500 AoE.
Level 3 - Has 600 AoE.
Level 4 - Has 800 AoE.
Mana Cost: 100/115/130/145
Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Framework: Megadon stomps on the ground. It's like the Druid of the Claw's Roar, and the effect is Crixialis’ epicenter.

Notes: This skill is excellent when combined with yours and other ultis.

Grolavim (V)
The halberd which he named after his father, to commemorate his fathers death, that is made from volcanic rocks and pure earthen steel. This weapon drains the geo-organic force of everyone or everything it kills, which adds damage to its ultimate attack. Each force temporarily adds 2 extra damage to its base damage until its ultimate attack is unleashed. It also has a 15% chance to Bash for 30 damage and stunning for .5 seconds.
Level 1 - 15 damage limit.
Level 2 - 30 damage limit.
Level 3 - 45 damage limit.
Level 4 - 60 damage limit.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A

Framework: Everytime he kills, a burning effect will suround his body, much like the Radiance's effect.

Paroxysm of the Earths (X)
Megadon’s ultimate attack. He gathers up all his mighty earthen force to randomly create volcanic eruptions around him. He also channels up all the force the Grolavim gathered to the point of his weapon and strikes it to the ground, and makes the force the base damage of every volcanic rocks that spurt out of the volcanoes. 1 second casting time. Also stun every enemies it hits for .8 seconds. 700 AoE. Does not affect buildings.
Level 1 - 2 volcanoes will arise from the land, last 30 seconds.
Level 2 - 4 volcanoes will arise from the land, last 15 seconds.
Level 3 - 6 volcanoes will arise from the land, last 10 seconds.
Mana Cost: 200/240/280
Cooldown: 170/150/130

Framework: Looks like the Firelord's volcano, but smaller.

Notes: Best combined with other heroes' ulti, but can be delayed.

I just want a hero that is modeled as the Tauren Chieftain, coz its big and strong.

This is my very first hero idea. I had this idea coz I think some Dota Heroes with big AoEd ultis need someome to be combined with, like Rylai's Freezing Field or Magnus' Reverse Polarity. I hope it will be in Dota someday. I didn't made it IMBA anyway. It's just for stunning and slowing.

I prefer his model to be like this:

Skill Build:

Level up first, coz you need this to make your ulti stronger coz you'll kill a lot of creeps before attaining the ultimate attack, and for the stun effect too

Then, stack up on or , coz you need to slow or stun your enemies whenever they try to escape.

The rest of the stats, whatever you like(but I prefer or , either the two of them)

When your at level 6, don't put the stats on you're ulti, if you want some extra damage or if its base damage is not enough(its up to you, if you want to make an early first blood, but I prefer not, I'll explain in the items).

At level 11, first(save the level 6 stat you got, coz you'll put both of it on your ulti at level 11, and if you got what you need), but switch between, or (if is at max),whatever you want.

Skill Synergies:

Slow is a good friend of your ulti, for easy killing. Maybe a triple kill!!

Stun is the best friend of your ulti. Rock Shower is for accurate stunning. But if the enemy is stunned at a far distance, your ulti is no good. You have to stun the enemy first before you cast your ulti.

Every creep killed is worth a thousand gold.

Easy hero chase and hero kill.

Early Game Item Build 1:

You'll need to buy Perseverance if either you will build Linken Sphere(prevent casting delay) or Battle Fury(more creeps killed, more extra damage). Ring of Basilius' for Vladimir's offering, so you'll don't need to go back at the fountain. Mithril Hammer's for the Battle Fury or Cranium Basher(if you want more stun chances and damage). Boots of Speed(either Power Treads or Boots of Travel) for escaping. Ogre Axe for BKB(I'll explain why, later). And Gauntlets of Strength if you'll go with the Cranium Basher.

Early Item Build 2:

Ok these second item build is for farming and pushing. Sange is for extra hit points and damage, IAS and mini-stun if Yasha. Arcane Ring is for Rock Shower + Ulti combo, or Earthen Roar + Ulti combo. Power Treads, for extra movement speed and attack speed. Vitality booster for extra life and you can stay longer at the battlefield, and for you to kill more creeps. Addition to that is Ring of Health. Mask of Death helps you regain more life.

Mid Item Build 1:

If you used the first item build, and you've done alot of farming, this is my item build for you:

or if not Battle Fury (you’ll know why)

Battle Fury's for easy farming and you also need this to kill many creeps. Linken's Sphere is to stop targeted skills while your casting your ulti. Vladimir's offering so you'll don't need to go back at the fountain. Cranium Basher for more stunning madness!!! Power Treads is for escaping and IAS, also for chasing. Black King Bar if you're not up to linken's sphere, so you won't be affected by disabling spells, and other skills while casting your ulti. Vit Booster is for extra HP.

Mid Item Build 2:

Sange and Yasha's both for extra hit points, IAS and maim and extra movement speed. Arcane Ring, as I said before, for stun and slow combo. Power Treads, movement speed and IAS. Vanguard is for HP regen and defence, and for extra hitpoints too. Helm of the Dominator for easy pushing and creeps decoy. Messerschmidt's Reaver's for extra hitpoints and damage.

Late Item Build 1:

If you used the second item build, and if you've done alot of farming(when I say alot, I mean it), or maybe not, coz almost of the items are the same as the mid item build, follow these items:

Or you could use if not Battle Fury or

Battle Fury, same explanation, Linken's Sphere, same explanation too, Vladimir's offering, same. BKB, same again, Cranium Basher(you know the word). Radiance is the substitute for Battle Fury, for massive damage and easy farming. Boots of Travel is for escaping and for surprise attack, and very good for chasing escaping heroes. Hand of Midas for the gold(but you won't need it no more), and for excellent IAS.

Late Item Build 2:

Follow these if you used the second mid item build:

Sange and Yasha, Arcane's Ring, and Vanguard, same explanations. Boots of Travel coz you don't need IAS, good for escaping,surprise attack, and chasing. Satanic for massive lifesteal and Damage plus extra hitpoints. HoT's for mega HP regen and extra strength and damage.

Woohoo!! At last, I'm finished at my long item builds!!

My explanation for the first item builds. It's necessary so there will be no delays, and extra hit points, and to quickly make your ulti strong. In short, it's focused on preventing delays and easy hero kill.

My explanation for the second item builds. Only focused on defence and IAS for the best easy hero kill, if you're not up for the ulti, and also for mana replenishing. It's also good for pushing

But if you don't prefer these item builds, try something you like if it suits you.

Must-be Allies:

They're skills are better while on the AoE of Megadon’s ulti. Stun + bounce damage + pulse nova damage = GODLIKE!!!

Their skills are the perfect combo for Megadon's skills, so be ready for a gold express.

He's a good supporter so always stick with him

Its Black Hole skill sucks everything near it, so make sure it cast its spell in the middle of your volcanoes.

Worst Enemies You'll Come Acrossed With:

Ranged disabling skills are your worst nightmare so don't come near on any of these heroes. They also have strong nuking skills so watch out.

Always your worse enemies. Only becomes worst when they get decent items to kill you.

Be careful coz you can't put a fight with him.

Expert in stunning and slowing enemies so you might don't want to get in his way.

Better watch out on heroes with this item coz they can be a threat to you. You don't have any skills that can defend you with this so you might watch out.

Haven't I seen this before... somewhere... either Dream Heroes or this is a remake. Anyway... pretty odd... I actually have no idea what to say. I'm gonna rate after everyone else comments, but, for now:
The volcanoes' duration is whacked, should be something like 10/15/20 or 15 or 20 all levels, not lower each level. Definitely increase mana cost by loads on later levels. Other three skills, I dunno, but I like the AOE slow, seems pretty balanced yet effective. Again, everyone else comment first.

@Shimrra_3, Hehehehehe, thx for the comment. To answer your question, yes, you saw from hero ideas and I too, posted that. Lowered cooldown per level coz that's the drill. Same as dota heroes. Their ulti's cooldown are lowered per level, but the mana cost is bigger. I also lowered the duration of the volcano per level coz if I make it 30 seconds on 6 volcanoes, there's no chance for an enemy to escape.

Ah, the Tauren Chieftain, a rarely used but powerful hero in TFT, I wish Raigor had a TC skin but TCs use axes.

The ulti's concept is quite similar to Nevermore's, even his grolavim is almost the same as necromastery. The volcanoes are uber cool but make the duration the same, basically what you did each time it levels up is that it squeezes all the damage from the previous level into a smaller time frame. I'd suggest you give all levels the same duration.

About Rock Shower, increase the damage per rock on the last level. Level 3 gives a total of 400 damage and 1.6 second stun and compared to level 4 with 360 damage and 2 second stun. If I used Megadon I'd keep RS at level 3. No complaints about Earthen Roar.

Also he is similar to Raigor, a two legged, earth-manipulating, caster-type bull. Give him a chance in brawls, put that bash to good use.

Great hero, but would you please explain the Ult a bit better. im having a little trouble understanding EXACTLY what it does. Is it a max of 60 damage(weapon ability) or is it your current damage (total w/ all items/abilitys) and how often do the volcanoes attack? just some clarification would be great. But i have to say great hero 10/10.

hey Ur 1st Skill the Rock Shower I think the Damge is stronger in lvl 3 only than level 4 compute it but in lvl 4 the stun effect is a little bit longer than lvl 3 and ur ultimate it lower level has long duration than ur max try making the duration the same in each levels.
This is the hero Ive been waiting for because his a hero in Orc but no one make a hero idea of him...

@nthomas5143, tis is how his third and last skill are connected. Everytime you kill a unit, 2 bonus damage will be added to your current bonus damage(the green number beside your base damage). If you learn it to lvl 4, that means you'll have a maximum of 60 bonus damage, like necromastery. And here's how it's connected to the ulti. Volcanoes will appear. Do you know the firelord's volcano skill??? It's like that. Every rock's base damage is the absorbed amount of bonus damage the grolavim got. In other words, if you gathered 60 bonus damage, that damage will be the base damage of every rock that comes out of the volcano. Hope that helps^^

This is superb. I'm glad we finally have another Tauren hero to add to the game. Ok. Let's start sizing him up, shall we?

Rock Shower: Very nice. Good stun skill. I'm just a little curious as to why the lvl4 damage is lower then the lvl 3 damage. Is this on purpose, or is this a screw up on your part?

Earthen Roar: Ah... A very nice slowdown skill. This will really be great for high speed heroes like Razor and Banehollow.

Grolavim: This is a carbon copied version of necromastery. AND I LIKES IT!

Paroxysm of the Earths: Good Lord! This skill looks very frightening. It's like the Sand King's ult because of the cast time, and Nevermore's because it's damage depends on another skill. And it has a mini-stun to boot.Now I have to ask this. Do the volcanoes pop up randomly in the AoE, or do they just grow around Megadon? Do they kill trees? And what if you're next to a cliff? Once you answer these questions, Bard Man will submit his approval.

Level 1 Parox is a bit impractical, it's highly unlikely enemies would stay there for even 10 seconds. Can you change the duration? And how often do the volcanoes spurt out rocks? And why wouldn't all of the rocks in rock shower hit the target, is it AoE?

I find your skills good for a combo, but synergy is mediocre. 3rd and 4th skill has forced synergy, which is bad for every Hero Idea. You focus on slow slow slow. That's a combo. Synergy could be better, but hey, it's still a good attempt.

i can't imagine how much damage the ulti does does. i have to see it in game to figure it. btw i agree with rambol. no one is going to hang around for the 10 seconds duration (let alone 30). even if you stun them for 2 seconds and then slow them by 25% (which is not much by the way). so its main use would be like mass serpent ward or something. if that's what you had in mind you should keep the 30 seconds duration at all levels.

Very Good!!! Hopefully this gets into Dota, 3 cows are better than 2 (SB and Tauren) I usually make pretty harsh comments but this hero is very well planned.

Pretty awsome balancing you've done. I like the main idea and all, especially the fact that his first skill does more dmg on lvl 3, but has a greater stun on lvl 4.

great idea... and yet another revenge story ^^ i'm gettin kinda bored of all the revenge stories but ya pretty cool, nice ms for a huge chieftain i'd say, hmmm stat gain is pretty decent, skills are not uberly cheap like ive seen... ulti is pretty sweet even tho i've seen something like it b4... hmm anyways nice 3rd skill i like it, but for Earthen roar, this is just my opinion so dont freak out ^^ ya maybe make the AoE like 700, 800 might be a liiiittle bit more but still..... thats a prety far distance, i mean 800 AoE is like the range of snipers attack when upgraded three times with his range add ^^ but ya just my opinion so other than that great work
