With just 1 or 2 second delay, most heroes can't surive (unless they have blink, avatar or some other escape skills) and especially this skill has no mana cost and cool down. Anyway let me answer some questions, Drow's attacks will not do extra damage because of Frost Arrows, since the 3rd skill is made to reduce/add damage to nukes only. Burning Spear won't do less damage either. And about Dual Breath, yeah you take more damage from the ice one and less from the fire one. Only reduces damage on fire nukes, like Lina's first 2 skills, Ogre Magi's Fireblast, Davion's Breathe Fire, also every wave of Pit Lord's Firestorm is affected by the reduction, and increases damage from ice nukes such as Crystal Maiden's 1st, 2nd 4th skills, and Lich's 1st and 4th skills. I do realize how hard it would be to implement Burning Blood into the game itself, so I will most likely completely change it. Just to clarify, his ultimate deals only 100/120/140/160 total damage over time, not per second, that would be way too imba, so even at level 4 it can deal 760 max damage, without reductions. However I will add both a manacost and a cooldown to it and make it active. Also I will take into consideration your ideas and change Soul Ram a little. Also, Demonic Charge can only do 180 total damage per charge, since the damage over time to each charge is 60 total damage, not 60 per second. Right now it seems ok although yeah, It IS really easy to escape, even at level 3. Making it passive would be imbalanced, or maybe passive with a manacost (like SK's Reincarnation) but it would still be imbalanced. I have a few options here, either to come up with something really innovative for Demonic Word, or maybe even change it completely. So it is somewhat like Leoric's ultimate, if you have enough mana and it's not on cooldown it will trigger. If not then tough luck. That's why it's a good idea to burn Medaga's mana, will render him pretty helpless lol. My original idea for his ultimate would have been an evolve type ability, like it will make you a little bigger, faster, give you hp and improve your abilities every time you put a point into it. But then I thought it was too similar to Tiny's ultimate so I used this instead. Demonic Charge also seems pretty nice, not to powerful becuase of the fact that you can't attack during this mode making this hero once again similar to SpiritBreaker with his greaterbash. Two knockbacks, but wouldn't Demonic Charge considered your second stun since people can't move when they are being pushed back (unless you make a new trigger that just pops the person back unlike greaterbash which slides them). (or the dota-men could create a whole new trigger for this skill).

64 By Serathil 2007-11-07 Alright, just to clarify some things, even at level 3, the ultimate only damages for 900 HP max, then if you count in the armor reduction, spell resistance, etc. the damage is not imba. Lina can deal more damage with her ultimate instantly without dying, and Techies' suicide can be activated, it is instant and deals way more damage, plus it is harder to escape. Any blinker can avoid this ultimate or anyone with a fast ms. This is just meant for heroes that kill you and are left with lets say 500 hp, and still hang around in the area which you died. It also requires you have mana when you die to activate, which honestly you don't have much of. I do think though that by givin him mana drain on attack, increased hp while standing still and mana regen on attack should be an orb skill sinceif you dont you will see alot of people spammin manta style and then you got a char that is nearly as nasty as Pantom Lance since now you just get a bfly to go with manta and you are gettin massive attack speed and mana drain with regen in one shot you can easily spam the charges and make sure they cant do anything about it...

So IMO it isn't imbalanced at all. Also to clarify his third skill, it only offers some regeneration when standing still ONLY, and when you attack 25 mana is taken from the enemy's mana pool and added to yours.(at level 4) The mana does not combust, like Anti-Mage's skill, and does not deal extra damage. It is completely different from Manta and mana burning skills. Which is why when you buy Manta for him, it will have the basic effect it always has except 25 mana is drained each attack, and does NOT deal extra damage. Even with Manta this skill cannot stand up to Anti-Mage's feedback, so IMO not imbalanced.
So this hero only has ONE way to knockback, which is from Demonic Charge, which yes it does slide them back, not pop up, that would look really bad.. I might change the ultimate a little bit later on, but the only thing that keeps it from being completely underpowered is its large AoE. Because of the AoE you can also take out creep waves when you get killed, meaning you get some of the gold you lose when you die back.
Techies' suicide has a pretty small AoE, and it sort of focused on one spot. And yes I was kind of thinking to make the damage either smaller or leave it like this, and add a stun to it, maybe like a 2.5 second one, that would give the team enough time to do their thing..
