Gives allied units within 500 range a shield that blocks 400 spell damage. Lasts 8 seconds. 100 manacost. 60 second cooldown. Doesn't affect units that have been affected by Barrier in the last 50 seconds.

i dont think the 1603 gold is not worth the upgrade until you have cores first, because thats a lot of gold for 2 HP regen and 400 spell dmg block. but if there was a magic resistance aura, then that would be a different story.......too bad that cant happen D:

Lol i've never even looked at this item before. 10HP/SEC tht is crazy with a bloodstone ... and the less magic resist and spell resist is pretty insane :)

who said that this item is bad for AM??? 40% magic reduction is good but 70% + dmg block and 10hp regen is never useless.also i love this item on axe as a good alternative of blademail if there is too many casters.

I've never really read this before. So does this still stack with Hood of Defiance? Just curious. I dont see why this wouldn't. And im also curious (even though a LOT of comments suggest it) I NEVER see this on pub pudge players. Maybe the extra 1600g is a turn off?

use this item if u are facing stunners like sven,king leoric and many more that really have strong stun damages!if the barrier is activate their stuns will be useless!!!
