I personally don't like the backstab.

its useful for any hero that lacks an escape or chasing spell.
and btw +38 damage and +10 attack speed has a worth of ~2600 gold. so paying 1000 gold for invis+20%ms is a good price imo

this is good for dr (drow ranger) nevermore and others i usually use this to secretly strike people

Its very usefull item because it has low cooldown time and gives you speed while invisible ;)
