This is great on invisible heroes......helps a lot to chase with invokers ghost walk

@353, using this to counter blink dagger is only slightly effective. BLink dagger is used for intiating and its cast range is far longer than radiance's burn is. Only works when youre chasing someone who is trying to escape with blink dagger.
@355, just no. Diffusual costs 3300, gives you far more than you could ask from radiance. A purge, damage from agi, agi for more backstab damage and atk speed, mana burn and pure damage from the mana burn.

I like this item on riki. especially since you can turn it off now. its easy for riki to farm 3800, because it just can't die. most of pub noobs wont get dust or gem early game. also its good for chasing, also for creeping, neutraling. cause i found out riki cant neutral. due to the fact that riki is an item based hero. radiance is the item worth getting.

Its really hard the first 20 minutes to build up 3800 gold, then another 1350 gold. you either have to stack up a lot gank kills without items or last hit almost perfectly. not really a good farm item as some said. battlefury is faster quicker mana regen hp regen cheaper more effective as your dmg increase item. and imagine what you could have done with perserverance. which is like mini fountain early game. so from a trying to win game point of view. bf is the better choice.

its not the 40 dps that's too important. The damage itself provides a counter to blink dagger and heart. 40 dps without having to do anything as much as standing there can stack up as the team battle is prolonged.

there is also a psychological effect associated with someone carrying it. all of a sudden they become a scary juggernaught to avoid

Nearly useleess late game. You need to rush it around the 20th minue mark to maximize its potential.

@348 i am not captain obvious, i am STEVE THE GREEK DRAGON SLAYER. long story how i got that name. but im just saying, isnt it more practical to get it early game cause of the mass damage, and 40 damage every sec is more important early game, so i dont know why people get this? even if they have dagger, they can still blink in

@349 Yes but it does get considerably weaker,which is why it doesn't make all THAT much difference.Same goes for radiance.

@ 348 True that it's not as good, but neither are nukes. Though I don't see anyone stop using their nukes at late game. Nukes and radiance don't get any weaker, the enemies just last longer. If anything that's why it's great, it's just that much more damage you are adding to them by simply being near them.

actually radiance is still good in late game, it prevent the dagger user to flee and help you farm faster

radiance is always early game item, think of it like a vanguard, good early game, its shit late game. 40 damage a sec is better early game than late.
