my favorite item.. farming has never been this easy..

one of my most favourites items, great farming tool with big damage. If you have SA you can simple stand there while the heros are taking 40 damage but lose your stealth.

can u use this with the butterfly? btw, i dont buy this item when i play SA

wads the point of SA buying this item? it just screws you up, the whole point of SA is to be a STEALTH assasin. -.-"

Hey ,I think that u shouldn't buy this to bloodseeker , I think that SR is borned to Razor , but BS can get damage from his first level and its expensive to buy it ...

if u can area stun where ur standin, it would be pretty good, plus when chasin as well cos they feel pain. cant use lothars to windwalk though (if u could, u would OWN!)

This item is awesome mid to late game with Phantom Lancer. Phantom plus 8 images means 9x40dmg per second. Thats 360dmg per sec not counting whatever dmg u and ur images will do. . Evasion is also a bonus 4 images.
It would also be good if u could run fast because of the area dmg it would cause to someone ur chasing.

Immolation doesn't stack

...not got for SA, gives away position, but they run and u farm XD

Think of this with Viper... Poison, and the Ultimate, and the poison aura... they run, they still die from poisons :)

Does immolation affect invisible heroes as well?(Eg.Bone clinks,Stealth assassin)Is it possible for them to lose invisibility at the very moment when they get affected by immolation?

i hav 2 n00b ass friends, but both has more DotA playin experience than me, thinks that u can use this for Rikimaru. m i wrong or r they both wrong?

yeah you can use it with rikimaru, then the enemies now that you're near to them, but they can't see you

For me, this is the best item for Rikimaru! Also good for Gondar and Nerubian Assasin but not the best! This item is good for everyone! Just kiddin', almost good to everyone! Right?

amazing for Bane elemental use nightmare and grip in unison w/ radiance helping thy get owned thy cant move out of ur immolition and nightmare lvl4 20 dmg per second for 7 secs + fiends grip lvl 3 is 215 dmg per second for 5 seconds and radiance is 40 dmg a second over 12 seconds so it comes out to be nightmare=140 damage + Fiends grip=1075 dmg + Radiance (over 12 seconds) = 480 dmg
A GRAND TOTAL OF: 1695 DAMAGE if they not dead a brain sap lvl 4 would finish them +300 damage making it 1995 or 2000 damage + without them being hit by radiance or your attack while they run away ect.

does it work when heros chase u.

visage+2 hearts+radiance+vanguard=gg LOL not even funny how well visage is at farming...

if ur goin to get this, get butterfly as well. for ASPD plus stacked evasion

I prefer battle fury as in late games, creeps are harder to kill (about 600hp each) and you need 15 seconds to finish them while you can use battle fury to finish them faster in melee

I was thinking .... it never said the immolition doesnt stack so if ur whole team gets it and u have phantom lancer ..... watch the hp go down great for pl combined with manta.

So it really adds damage for Images/Copy of heroes? Like Phanton Lancer, Naga, Nessaj etc.
Lancer with 8 images will deal 360 damage per second? I dont think so o_O it would be so fucking overpower.. Anyway its a good item and I dont like it for SA.. SA best skill is permanent invisibility, with radiance you loose it =P

Sorry to disappoint you, but Radiance is plain ANTI-NIGHTMARE. Try it on yr Bane next time. Radiance is ok on any hero except Bane. Those getting Radiance on Bane risk being called a 6-letter word. Starts with S ends with D. TUPI in between.

Caspian is right having a radiance with bane or in a team with bane would be a stupid idea the nightmare will be useless and the enemy will have the higher chance too escape!

the effects of Immolation doesnt stack with other Immolation. Immolation isnt a direct attack, its more of an aura which hurts enemies so it shouldnt affect Nightmare on Bane Elemental.

To those who doubt my words, I have seen a razor with a radiance always escaping bane's nightmare. And i have seen a bane casting nightmare, then an enigma with radiance comes, he immediately wakes up. I have personally seen it happen. It's not a matter of should or should not; it really happens in the game!

Rather, if the bear attacks someone when syllabear is too far away, it will immediately return to him. Hope you get yr facts right lupeman. I know a dota video that proves what i say: that u can bear-chase with radiance.

yeah,radiance's bonus damage is decreased again to 60.....Not sure whether worth it anot....

HMMMM.... This thing is very useful to TWIN HEADED or jakiro... because while radiance is on you will cast DUAL BREATH and all the creeps is yours... nice right?!

i think it works very well with more ranged heroes.
Rhasta, shackles, deals initial + radiance then you can voodoo him.
Leshrac obviously, as he is lord of AoEs,
Lion, essentially does the same as rhasta

besides, melee heroes dislike approachin ranged heroes, even less when ranged heroes get Radiance as they take even more damage without bein able to fight back.

A very important item for alchemist. This plus his "adding gold skill" makes even a alchemist who dies a lot very buff.

Buy 100 chicken, turn them into birds let them carry a radiance each lol thats like 3.5k dmg a second you just have to fly it right next to the hero and dies in like 2 secs

radiances immolation doesnt stack n00b. also they disabled it so u can buy lots of chickens. one chicken per hero, unless it dies of course.

For all the noobs out there...When Rikimaru has radiance he still stays invisible, but enemies can tell where you are when you use it cause of the glinty animation effect it has and conclude that you are there.

It's +60 damage now.

Still, a magic-immune crow with a radiance on it is a fun way of farming ogres, centaurs and the like with impunity. Or even harass melee heroes. - Just stay away from ranged.

at the beginnin, i thought it was different evasion, like how spectre has dispersion and could gain evasion from butterfly or faceless void has backtrack and could gain evasion from butterfly

i know that radiance stacked in the older versions, but it was a bug and Icefrog fixed it long ago

My nerubian assassin becomes a straight up god when hes getz radiance especially 1v1. juz hit ur enemy a few times and when ur juz about to die vendetta ur way out. follow him around for a about 40 sec den backstab impale and get in a few hits. vendetta gives u additional ms so u don have to woorry dat ur enemies gonna get away!!!!!!

if i have razor, i would go for this and a mailstrom hammer..u have passive chain lightning and the storm seeker plus immolation..good combination right?

any razor player always get mjollnir/maelstrom, its only radiance that people r a bit sketchy about, cept its not any that good at late game. only useful for farmin.

Yes, the immolation isn't that useful late game but let us not forget the 8% evasion and the +70 damage; however I would rather put radiance on a tank- Treant protector

the classic argument: For Riki or not for Riki?? I get this item only later because u could spend the money buying BFLY instead (much more useful) it is sometimes hindering for enemies to know where u are, but then again they usually buy gem/ wards, and u are hardly ever just standing still next to an enemy anyways. Great for chasing with riki though, with BoT and SnY enemies will always be feeling the burn

people love gettin riki this item, but i personally dont. sure the damage is great and u cant see him, but wheneva i play against a rikimaru user, i get wards. if i feel the effects of immolation but cant see the hero with it, i plant the ward immediately and move away as it could be a possible gank.

scored a double kill with this item by accident. playin as baruthrum against bane elemental and enchantress.

both bane elemental and enchantress were on like 300 health each, i had 1000. so bane elemental decided to fiend grip me and enchantress was usin impetus, both takin damage from immolation. afta bane elemental died from immolation, i charged of darkness at enchantress, but before he even got to her, she died from immolation as well. thats luck

i think this item is good for butcher because it helps to rot skill and farms creeps and you gain str. also for undying bucause helps to heartstopper aura and also for axe becouse it helps to counter helix and attracts enemy

no lupe see they can tell ur somewhere there next to then, but they cant see you because of ur ult.

This is definitely a favorite item of mine for any hero. If you can last 15-20 minutes without going back to base and are farming good, I will always try to rush a relic then radiance with any hero.

Why would ppl ban radiance on the good ol' bear? juz can't understand

For the same reason it is illeagal to put basher on Phantom Lancer-gets too imba

After hours of searching i have discovered the reason as to why this was banned on the spirit bear, because there was a bug in the previous versions where the radiance immolation remained in that area after the bears death. Now that he bug is fixed it is now legal.

Will pugna's decrepify amplify the Immolation?

not too sure. is immolation a form of physical attack? if so i thnk immolation does not harm the guy when he is decrepified

its a very coll item if your character is rikimaru the stealth assasin

Evasion doesn't stack, however it will check all of your vasion %'s. For instance if you have a butterfly with 30% evasion, and that doesn't work it will go to radiance for the other 8% evasion. It may seem like it stacks, but 4 butterflys do not make you immune to being hit, just very likely you wont be hit.

Evasion stacks the same way stun %'s stack. IE 30% from Bfly gives you a 70% chance to be hit. Then 8% from radiance calculates out to a 64.4% to be hit. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not. It doesn't stack additively, it stack multiplicatively. As in with bfly and radiance you have a 35.4% chance to evade.

Dude, evasion only stacks with Facless Void's skill that evades attacks. It never stacks with anything else...

LMAO! Evasion doesn't stack. Not all percentage calculations are the same. Evasion doesn't stack, bash percentages stack, but gets lesser with an additive formula I forgot about lol. Attack speed stacks. Like that. Ano Immolation from Radiance doesn't stack. By the way, the bigger evasion always overrides the smaller evasion. So if you had butterfly and radiance, you benefit from butterfly. And lastly, skill evasion stacks with item evasion, but item to item doesn't.
