It depends on how you play dota.
You dont need to say if a person is a noob or not.
Also this item is very useful to lion.
If you wear this to lion, you have a 100% chance of harrassing and escaping.

being right my ass lupeman u don't know the meaning of the word cooldown. Impale has a 12 sec cooldown and voodoo has 13 and wtf did you call your strategy? BACKDOOR, lion's voodoo...??? WOW BACKDOOR really impresive

backdoor will divert their attention and cause some enemies to run to you, perfect for ur allies to ambush the enemy while they r on the path to u with the help of sentry/observer wards

use it on lion and ur mana will be drained quite fast. only n00bz rely on double/triple hex'ing to get a kill when someones on half health

always buy this when i'm using krobelus.

and only n00bs do not realize the importance of this for disablers you can take on 2 heroes at the same time with this

u CAN take on 2 heroes at once if ur lion, but u wont be able to KILL 2 heroes at once.

If enemy Lion grabs this item or even begins to go for it, its BKB time. Lion has enough disables, no need for Guinsoo.

BMB stops bein polymorph with avatar workn, more people will ignore single hex or cyclone, but when double hex'd or cycloned, a BKB will definitely be made for the sole purpose of counterin hex. lion doesnt need this item but if u get this for lion, ur enemy will definitely get BKB

that is if you let your enemy farm for a bkb and a bkb might not be enough cause it only lasts 10 sec and has a long cooldown

A support Lion needs it, cos when used along with imapale and his own hex, this will help tanks to OWN. But I've seen lions that kill all by themselves in late game...they dont even use their own voodoo! But I'd say, this is DEFINITELY a must buy for Lion

Theres a greater chance of getting the kill with an euls scepter then there is guinsoo.

For example
Rhasta - Cyclone, ward. using guinsoo or voodoo can still allow the other guy to move and u hav a chance to miss the placement of the ward
Lion - Voodoo, Impale, Euls Scepter, Voodoo, Impale. (theres no waiting time in between giving 100% disable). I doubt a 20 second disable is necessary though, most kills take around 5-7 seconds.
Techies - Cyclone, plant Stun Ward + Mines + Remote Mines, Suicide to ensure Kill (Of course with a good techies player, wards would've been placed throughout the map)
Witch Doctor - Cyclone, Cask a creep, Maledict (u still hav a chance of missing with that small AoE), Dagon, Ward.

u can set up a casting/channeling spell with that cyclone. Ezalor, Darchrow, Sand King, Lina Inverse, Warlock.

ive ensured more kills with euls then i hav with guinsoo...

so scared, 0 magic reduction and 0 armour. with the 3.25 second hex it gives u, i doubt anyone but Tiny and a dps hero could deal any real damage, why would a dps hero like mortred or tiny carry a guinsoo, no one would know. (i know allies can carry it too, but team ganks? its been done to death, thats why wards were made.)

probably obsedian destroyer does best with this item, as the 0 magic reduction works best with his first skill, unless his first skill does pure, not magical damage.

Stop arguing. Euls indeed has an offensive purpose, eg Rhasta - to ward trap. But it is almost always upgraded to guinsoo after the charges are exhausted because polymorph is a very powerful disable and euls without cyclone charges is useless. You're wrong if you say nobody can deal damage under 3.25 seconds, it is fatal when you are hexed in the presence of several enemy heroes. You can still set up a channeling spell with hex - sand king epicenter channel 2 sec, hex 3.25 sec is more than enough.

i wonder whether can write a guide for items what heroes recommended and stuff.. i'm lazy to write strategies too much work.... To be truthful GUINSOO is one of the best item in the game as it can be used by any... i REPEAT ANY HERO.... well mayb for ultimate killer heroes dun need it as damage items would definately be better like PA and NAIX and stuff... This is best for support heroes as it gives the hex effect... one of the best effect of the game as it turns Heroes into SHEEPS and disabling for doing anything.. ANYTHING!!!!!!.. if your teamates work well with you and depending what heroes u have 3.25-4.5 secs is enuf to kill a single hero which is alone...And best to fight against high armor heroes like bristleback which seems unkillable with his 3rd skill..

Depending on your style of playing and what your opponent heroes have this item is an essential... it's dumb to have 5 meka's but it's not dumb for your whole team to have guinsoo..

Before u can start scolding ppl noob.. u should actually try out stuff....

Heroes that sometimes would buy guinsoo to play full support or STR heroes.. instead of INT heroes.. it's just my style of playing...

Example:
Dragon Knight Normally people would get Battlefury instead of Guinsoo.... As dragon knight is one hero to easy farm becoz of his Dragon Breath and thick armor at the start.... But most of the time i would prefer guinsoo as to support and to kill heroes 1v1... With guinsoo same like Bf increase mana regeneration so u can spam fire... how ever guinsoo also adds mana capacity and some dmg.... If possible with DK use fire once and run towards the hero and stun as dk's lvl 4 stun is about 3.25 seconds if i'm not wrong and cool down is abuot 9-10 seconds and after you have finish your stun u can straight away guinsoo the hero... and as u atk and spam your dragon breath whenever u can towards to hero... after the guinsoo has finish its effect after walking with the opponent for 2 secs u can STUN once more... it's like a different version of permanent disable against one hero... and during a battle or being chase by heroes.. even better.. u can disable 2 at once... And with lvl 16 DK with 3rd lvl dragon form... it's quite impossible for a single hero to run unless it has certain skills to disable u for a long time.. this is just a way to use it... it defers depending on what opponent heroes have... you might need Guinsoo u might not... Experience would tell you whether u need this item or not.... Well i guess alot of ppl will scold me noob but... who cares.. if u haven't tried it out yourself..... don't think it's not the best way of playing it..

i use this on tinker a lot...hex them manta rearm. then i just perma hex and let my images attk. also if i go dagon i can easily attk them then repeat. the only draw back is that i need alot of mana but it is really effective.

lupeman sucks...you don't know the power of guinsoo + lion! a big BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for you!

he never said backdoor a hero. pay more attention to posts and go to some form or remedial english school to help you understand sentences.

guinsoo's is a great item. not too many people are posting on how useful the 25 int and the 150% mana regen can be. this can help almost any hero with skills worth casting. 35 damage helps any hero type. also not many people have posted on team strats regarding this item and its components. euls is really good for escaping as well as saving others. it can also change a 1v1 chase into a 5v1 chase by allowing your team mates time to get into place. cyclone can help disable a heavy dps hero when you are a lone defender in an important push for both teams.

guinsoo's has similar pros however now you can attack the hero that is disabled. people have been posting how this helps you. again i want to emphasize how useful it is to your team.
this can save lives, stop tanks, give you a chance to cd your skills and really does help in a chase.

although i'd say you don't really need this on a lion it is pretty fun and useful. makes lion a great support. gives him awesome regen to spam all spells. makes him hard to gank with 3 disables now. it was pointed out that a lion cant really kill 2 heroes now that he has 2 hex's but it could help kill one by disabling the other while you ff your combo to the weaker one. he is a fast killer get in get out in a matter of seconds. if you cant kill in a short time you wouldnt be trying to gank two heroes. however you would now be able to.

the price is a lot but you are buying lots of low level items which makes it easy to get. saving up between 325 and 1150 at a time is not a big deal. it is easy to get screwed over on larger items like a mystic staff = 2700. die a few times trying to get that and its now costs a lot more than 2700. could have lived longer with euls cyclones :P.

What the hell have they made by remaking Guinsoo.. Where is the +10 to all attributes from the ultimate orb? Its just 2250 gold in vain. our beloved sheep stick s also going to get tougher to make coz u need to save up for the mystic staff and orb. I guess not many are going to make guinsoo in 6.50 ..

this was a must for any int hero...but now well let me explain...b4 u used to get this item to sheep the opp...but now u get it for the bonuses it gives....bonus hp and as....the only thing i dont like is the fact that its so costly...wtf all i know is that i much rather stick with eul cuz its hella cheaper than this...so fuck this item...its great if u pull it off but at wat price? not worth the 5900 just for the item...ur better off getting 2 MS and making sumthing out of them than this. this basically makes any hero str agi or int based want to reach for it so i say way to go...sum1 fell asleep at the controls ppl and basically screwed a good item

Hey guys, don't say this item now sucks cuz it's sooo expensive. Look at the mana regen and boosts. It's for every stat now. The hex has also been preserved. Anyways, this is not that much more expensive than the old Guinsoo.

this item has now its huge benifits for every1 which is bad...but if ur using drow or clinkz i say u should think of this item...cuz now u can leave the arrows on auto cast and never worry about low/no mana. still its ok i try to get it for the boost but i say orchid just got hella better

Imao this item was very nice on the enchantress but now i rather get orchid with her.. to faster throw impertus + it gives int and damage in 1 (like the guinso did before) no i liked the old guinso more.. but it's still a great item.
