bobbob247: wtf? Axe and orb becomes heart? There's no such item and Dota. And it's not 8 weapons, it's 6 item slots wich you can put weapons in. you DO slow down after taking damage sometimes, take for example frost arrows, eye of skadi, sange . Plus, it's not Dota that's unrealistic. They just used the wc3 engine, so I'd say it's wc3 wich is unrealistic.

@4dr1: Look at everything in this game. A huge axe and an orb become a heart? A staff and a belt make a book? You can use like 8 weapons at the same time? You can wear 6 bracers? You don't slow down at all after taking damage? There are a ton of these unrealistic parts in DotA.

dude ur thinking WAY too far ointo this stuff. its a game, not reality. stuff will not always make sense. and if u REALLY wann aknow, ask icefrog

That was like last time...hahahs, i used to do that oso...lolx...
But nowadays to make mek, most prob go for the headress b4 getting this. Since headress is cheaper and all. Well, this item is really good for pushing as well, a 1-time push that is. It is like in a way a mini assult curiass, lol.

this item was used before to do a double heal using 2 meks. if you didnt know you cannot use heal until the buff is removed. buckler's active ability removes that buff. however, you cant do that now because buckler's buff no longer remove mek buff
