and later on u can upgrade it to vladmirs if u wanna push.

The new RoB offers greater lane control since u can switch off the armor aura if u find u r pushing yr creeps too far. This is one aspect of the RoB that is neglected often by many players.

i get this for most heroes at early game, for higher mana regen and then i can turn into vlads if its good for my hero. AURAS FTW!

very good item for low-int str heroes. this item adds fix amount of mana regen while voidstone is percent based. hence this item is better for low-int heroes that have spells with high mana cost

that depends on the situation. At early game this is usually the item people get cause of its auras but it is only 0.65 mana/sec if you compare that with sobi mask it grants 50% mana regen.

Example if you got a base regeneration of 2 mana/sec with sobi mask you'll get 3 mana/sec since 50% of 2 is 1.

with ring of basilius you will get 2.65 mana/sec but you will benefit from the aura and armor but I can suggest you get the ring and a sobi mask

This item rox! any1 thinks its like imba? like u can have a claw of atk(+6) + 3 armour aura + 0.65mana regen (better than sobi mask when u'r at lv1).
This item simply screams a team item, specially gd for the 1st few waves. U at ur partner can regen mana like erm, not really veri much actually. But u can gang, take 1st blood and can get rdy for ur 2nd blood with ur partner. Well lemmi see, from wave to wave is 30s so mana regenerated is 30 X 0.65 =19.5 mana. Wow, thats kinda pathetic...hahas, sry tt's juz 1 wave...

the most imba item i know... imho...

RoB vs. Arcane hmmm tough one arcane for instant mana but costs more vs. mana over time costs less its tough but dont get this if ur SA (noob hero btw) aura just floating there ok SA is here emme hit him with my light strike array

I found this useful early-mid. If I already have enough money, I usually disassemble this and get the sobi mask for my oblivion then guinsoo. The ring of protection will be used for arcane. I usually give to my ally or just sell it.

this is one of the worst items in game.

by the time ANY hero has an intel of 19 or higher... a sobimask will work wonders far greater past this tragedy of an item... yes i know... you say But what about the devo aura!...

anyhow, RoB is great when you have someone who grabbed say 2 nulls, 2 circlets, and some tangos.

They might have great mana pool early on, but they'll definitely need more mana to continue doing w/e they are doing.

that's where RoB helps... and lets one do an extra cast of any sort.

I really hate this item... the .65 mana regen bonus is nigh horrible and useless...

any hero with a 19 intel will gain mana faster with a sobimask...

so all its worth is a devo aura.
so a devo aura really isn't worth the gold in my opinion.

2 Mantles and a Sobi Mask may be better for mana regen, but the +3 armor from the ring helps a lot in the early game against harrassers, so both have their advantages.

Personally I go RoB and GGBranches FTW

I almost always buy this during early game the .65 mana regen and +3 armor aura really helps early game,and you can upgrade it to vladmirs offering later on during mid to late game
