In pubs, lifesteal works great, as the pubs charge you one by one and die, while you don't lose any HP.

1) It doesnt stack/improve stats with iron branch

This isn't useless at all. It gives you a 10% lifesteal for the amount of damage you do to an enemy or creep. When you've killed a hero and have very low hp you dont wanna go to the fountain do you? cause that means killing him wont outfarm him! instead of going back to ur faountain just kill some creeps without getting hit, this'll restore your hp. Its the perfect lifesteal item. Early game - Mask of death, Mid game - Mask of madness, Late game - Satanic

who says mask of death is useless? of course it's not. w/o it, satanic wouldn't be possible. :P right?

i always use this with powerthreads in the beginning of my game.

its very useful for all heroes, instead of buying consumables to gain life..you gain life in every hit even if you're using hyperstone.
