oohhh.. chase me.. chase me.. Nooo! i was not referring to you Slardar.. really helpful item when you're opponents are into pushing early.. the faster you walk/run the faster you can escape or chase your opponents.. sometimes you only need 1 hit but you can't chase them.. that's really sad..

not way better than treads... treads even out the MS and ASPD thing and is also cheaper... ud want to get treads for Tiny and Balanar but BoT for Rikimaru or Faceless Void.

i get BoT for all heroes except furion. there are much better sources of atk spd other than treads and the tele from BoT is just priceless

try this item with bounty hunter and bloodseeker the movement speed goes like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, i think in order to use BOT to escape u 1st need like a dagger... so that u can blink to unpathable terrain or something den tele..i think tele is like channel for 3.5 secs? haha, any1 can check? i counted when i tele den i see riki being invis...
Well, BOT is a must not for chasing heros, unless u'r BS, BH, SB or technies? hahah
It is also for def and pushing lanes (remeber tinker?)

Depends on whether your hero can move very fast without BOT already andalso need the attack speed. If your hero is slow, then it's better to buy BOT.or If you wanna free farm lanes when enemy heroes are not around then you buy BOT.

This might sound like a noob question. Well it is, i am a noob. Anyways, after you start your tele can u use lothars or a ww ability so that enemy heros cannot hit you. Or do you have to active those b4 you tele? Does that work?

activating lothars WHILE trying to teleport should cancel out teleport, so you'll just go invis and not teleport, and activatinig lothars BEFORE teleporting shouldn't do much either--I believe you lose invisibility as soon as you would try to teleport

@boo: dude 522 is highest. with treads bs has 522 (no higher) and with track, 522 automatically even with no boots at all.

this item is good if you have money to spare but in a 5v5 its a waste of money i would rather get treads althought you dont have teleport and as much speed you have attack speed and strength and its cheaper XD but in a 3v3 i would consider buying this

i know boots of travel are better than treads but is it really expensive so is it worth it or should i get treads instead

They increase the casting time from 2 sec to 3 sec.. Now I know why I got killed when I tried to teleport

This is quite good. Can be used with Furion's Teleport to quickly move away from battle to healing fountain and then back again.

BoT's are only worth it if your hero has low base movement speed and doesn't have a windwalk-type of ability.

Faceless Void already has Timewalk and Chronosphere for chase, and permabash should keep them from running. He also needs the IAS for permabash.

BoT only truly helps slow STR heroes with horrible attack speed and most INT heroes with the exception of a few. Don't ever get it for any AGI hero cept ursa.

and the suggestion for getting it for meepo is stupid due to the fact that one of his skills is actually a built-in BoT

As of version 6.50b this item only gives a bonus value of 85 to your movement speed.
