i always laugh because some people pronounce this as tr"ee"ds than treads

I like the new treads instead the old one..450 gold cheaper can saves time..

Well they need to update this. They changed treads already, but still the old treads are GREAT for storm spirit, the one that barely walks that gives nice INT =)

Guys: Icefrog was planning to bring back the old Power Treads and remove the IAS from current Phase Boots so stop quibbing till 6.64 comes out

Why u people complaining u have phase boots with bonus attacks speed and run through creeps and kill faster. IN my Opinion Treads now can be REMOVED totaly useless.
THERE is a problem now: TROLL , BARATHUM , LYCANTHROPE and many more dps heroes WILL BE UNSTOPABLE AND THAT an IMBALANCE OF this game.Now they get the attk speed and the movement speed and the phAse witch means lazy job in that recent change.In my opinion power treads are useless and i dont mind if they are removed.Simpler dota.

Atually powerthreads back then only gave 10 agi meaning 10 damage and 10 as plus 1. something armor and 30% as meaning a total of 40 as 1.something armor and 10 damage.

Actually people used to keep the treads on str for almost all heroes especially agi for the health boost and maybe switching it to agi at late game. But it should always be on str since that 10 agi doesn't give you as much benefit as that 10 str early-mid game.

thus you will get 20 dmg and 50% attk speed, if you ask me that is a HUGE boost for any agi hero you can KILL when you got a boot only example pa(seriously the attk speed is useless for almost all int hero and some str hero)
the new phase boot kinda balance it,in short agi hero doesnt get a huge boost anymore like the old days that why its not fuck up

the change on power thread is damn neccessary
its the same reason like the old lothar
it give a HUGE boost for agi hero
example
you buy a old power thread(attribute agi) for a agi hero
it give 20 dmg and 30% attk speed(skip the armor coz i lazy to count)
so anyway for every agi point it give 1+ attk dmg and attk speed

... So just get phase boots instead of treads right now?
