well.... no cause orb effects do not stack and mana break is an orb effect

I agree with angelOFdeath, this rocks with Azwraith the Phantom Lancer since all of his illusions will do the mana burn aswell as 2 extra from the ability.

Incorrect...? Its good for geo because if his Manta style clone dies, HE DOESNT. Imagine that, you wipe out one of geo's dudes and the rest keep coming? slightly unnerving. It's awesome for geo because it draws the nukes away from him and his REAL clones, (a.k.a. NO DIE)

i didnt say if one of these clones die, they all die. i just said meepos. read again. one clone dies, all clones from ulti die, u got 3 meepos left, but they take 300% more damage and 40% damage dealt so its obvious which one is the real one.

its an edge fo meepo. the illusions can stack geostrike(+20% slow by each meepo) as well. so they wont die easily unless aoe nuked.

i think it may be good for traxex because u use frost arrows to slow den and den split and it also burns mana which is really help full to against str hereos with basically no mana at all

good item for meepo and azwraith and those other pesky image makers. but sometimes when my team own too much, i get this for lycanthrope just for fun.

Meepo, Azwraith, Slithice, Pandaren Brewmaster and Nightstalker team each with Manta Style = MEGALAG + PURE OWNAGE (cloned nightstalkers passive Hunter in the Night works still)

nightstalker clones hunter at night works too? but i tested it, no work at all. 1 guy fast, the other 2 slow.

it should work though, even if they r clones, passive skills shouldve still worked. like slithices clones with critical and azwraith where his clones can clones, even manta style clones

I'm surprised no one mentioned this item for Nessaj. Sounds crazy at first but think about it and try it. Keep his ULT on lvl 2 till the end and they won't know if it's his ULT or just manta. Plus the copies only last 20 sec and if used correctly it'll take almost that amount of time for them to figure out it's not your ULT. I also liek because Nessaj is already a killer w blink and stun, but throw in a purge as well? Unstoppable in mid game.

^ or u can get 3rd level ulti and get the third guy to farm with u in anotha lane? 2 nessajs in each lane

About Orb effects and criticals:
The Manta Illusions do have all Orb effects and cause them on an enemy (But if they dont stack its useless). They also have Red Numbers over their head sometimes, as if they do extra critical damage or even stun. But this doesnt have any effect. They unit wont take more damage, but it looks like if. When it gets stunned by an illusion it still can move, so its fakestun and fakeextradamage (This is done to make the illusions look like the original but dont make them imba (7 Naga Sirens with critical ARE imba).

I just played against a Tiny who used this...he owned. When tiny's upgraded he can deal 250-300 damage easy. The little tiny minions were like the average lvl 12 lvl 13 heros (each 100+dmg!!!), we definitely underestimated them.

i could understand gettin it for Tiny for the illusions, but not for the mana burn

tiny with manta: havent thought of it before but it sounds fun to see three "mini roshans" MEGA creep blocking..

images can critical, they do deal real damage, but a fraction of the real one. it does work with Vlads, Vlads not orb item

how about mirana wid manta.. she would do massive damage against melee and int heroes.. feedback rockz

this item is kinda useless with that long of a cooldown and for 5500 its not even close to worth it

70seconds isnt that long. its got a passive Feedback too, illusions can Feedback (assuming its illusions that also hav inventory slots, unlike meepos clones).

Phantom Lancer is meant to possess this item.

would be sick, but it doesn't stack. magina's mana burn is an orb effect, as is manta style, and orb effects do not stack. magina also cannot use EoS, deso, y&s, or any other of the other items that have orb effects.

no, clones only hav passive abilities. the ulti needs to be toggled

This is great for spectre because her illusions will also have desolate & dispersion, use this after dagger you will own for sure

this things owns with PL... think u start with dopplewalk then u Sl and manta... in a few secs you will have a basketball team.. that burns mana... also u can form a cage soo ur opponent cant escape.. the only way of escaping is like either kill everything with nukes or blink away...

coz rigwarl's illusions also gains warpath too. 3 rigwarls with warpath chasing you is too scary if you dont have something to escape from his nasal goo.

yes, the clones gain the warpath, but they dont gain goo or spray, so warpath does nothin. they hav the damage reduction from rear, but they cant spray

imo, this item is BAD for terrorblade, he's got 3 images plus himself, and all they do is get in the way of each other, even in 1 vs 1, enemy hero runs away and all your images are too busy tripping each other over.

Manta is an ORB effect so it doesn't stack with any other orbs, such as SnY, Satanic, MoM,Stygian etc...

Tinys clones dont get the Grow ability, otherwise it would be too overpowered. It would secure a lane for the duration of the clones.

Is this item good with Zeus? I mean, if he gets Mjollnir, the orb effect is only going to last for a while, then there's no more static charge! Is Manta Style a good choice in the meantime?

zeus has poor attack speed and poor range... why would u get manta style or mjollnir?

Mjollnir boosts his lightning power and attack speed by A LOT.

maelstrom doesnt boost attack speed by much, u gotta get anotha 3.4k b4 u can get the attack speed.

if u metamorph first, then use manta style illusions, it takes it back to original form. i dont know why it does that, but i lost my metamorphis so many times because of that.

uhm im in to making odd builds to heroes..like sandkings epicenter kelens and manta style combo... in the older maps.. after you cast epicenter and used manta style sanking splits into 3 and every illusion has its own Epicenter..so it really has a large chance of killing heroes with its huge AOE.. in the later version they romoved it..why??.. i hope someone professional could help me out..

as far as i know [and tried] magina with manta is pretty good, IF u get the manta BEFORE u get the mana break skill, why? because he will still deal 64 mana break, and his illusions will deal 32 mana break, which means a complete mana destroyer. if u get mana break skill before u get the manta, magina will do 32 mana break, the same as his illusions. i also agree that luna with manta is cool since her illusions will do bouncing attack too, but without mana break, we can also consider manta for surviving the face-off with permabashers, or damage-per-second dealers, such as PA, void, jarakal, etc.
about meduse with manta and mjolnir...
are u sure that the illusions can cast chain lightning too? or what?

oh, and don't forget about syllabear to use manta. a melee type druid with manta can be so scary. i've tried it, and i owned. the illusions are so powerfull, with massive amount of HP and damage, plus the summoned bear in charge of entangling ur poor enemies, this rocks. combine it with MKB or cuirass, and a vlad, and u'll see.

2) surprise your enemy with blink
3) activate mana void
4) click the manta style
5) attack (and mana burn )

I think this strategy is simple and not too bad

u get less mana burn with this item (unless u buy manta first, then upgrade the skill)
