how far is the range on fragment strike? It would rly affect the its uses and usefulness

i actually think its a bit too cheap
2 mithril hammer=48dmg=3.2k
ur item is 3.1k for 45 damage WITH abiltiy to stun
until now there are no items in dota which enable u to stun except cranium basher but that has percentages so i dont consider it maybe make it a wee bit more expensive?

yea but it has hex which is just as good, and cyclone which has the drawback of not being able to attack them, go storm bolt, hex, storm bolt, cyclone, storm bolt, crystal sword, wow gg

I agree, raise the recipe cost. This is... 500? For a two second stun? Regardless of losing the damage for that time. I will add that losing the damage is a serious handicap for those heroes, at least during early game (which is logically when you would get this) - buuut not enough to balance this or the low mana cost.

Too imba, raise the prise to about 5.1k and maybe make it +60 damage with 2 mithril - so someone can choose between this and the desolator

i suggest replace the stun with a slow or combination of mini slow+silence

mm a massive slow over stun would be better even if it is to an extent so insanely OP it almost is a stun...
like 99%?
or even 100.
tehnically a stun is silence + 100% slow + 100% attack speed slow.
so remove the silence and attack speed slow and you have the better 1/3 of a stun.

TBH dude very nice item also and the stun effect is what making it special IMO ... you have to let price be little higher and let it have more damage and putting mithril hammer on the recipe cuz if it has gotten easy ... Rexxar will own most heroes easy or troll Warlord So it is like an easy win for them if you do what i see the item would be perfect cuz it would be a bit late to get it thats all what i have to say good luck dude

I think you have a good idea about the double stun idea. But I think the damage this item gives is a little... weak.

Ok i see that you have tried to change it, but when you upgrade the item you kinda lose damage
18+21+24=63
that is 18 damage lost
is still think a better recipe would be 2 mithril hammers and +60 damage and still have the active effect but raise the recipe price to 2k
so you get +12 damage and a 2 sec stun for the extra 2k
it is also good because you can choose the desolator too
i think this would be better than losing damage for the spell that you basically have to be next to the person

None. Fragment strike does no damage. A Bit Stupid but , if I added damage , people might think its imba or something.

Dude I think 150 Mana is definitely not low manacost for a strength hero.But, ur item...seems gud....'coz it has stun...

and...inc the stun duration 2 sec is nothing for 150 mana ....'coz items like CB gives u stun without Mana cost...and has no Orb Effect also...

It is , because according to the weaopn's story , it keeps removing parts from itself , so the removed parts from the crystal sword would mean the loss of damage. I did it all according to the storyline of the Crystal Sword.

Oh and its also fair because mostly heroes would get this would either not need the 45 damage boost or just use the Crystal Sword for chasing and waiting for cooldowns for their skills such as Storm bolt for sven and skeleton king. I hope you understand this now. thank You.

uhmmm its a unique item but I think it will be more balance if you put 100 magicaldamage from the stun due to the lost of bonus damage just an opinion.

Anyways, i think that a dmg (magical) should be added on for the fragment strike. Since like during that 2 secs, it's like u've wasted 5500 to just trade 150 mana with 2 secs of opponents time. Kinda not friendly for solo people, or not spam-friendly.

Decrease the stun duration for heroes that already have stun to 1sec or/and increase the cd to 25-30sec or/and make it unusable after using a stun spell or something?
otherwise it is omfgodlike for heroes like King Leoric:

1st Stormbolt 2sec stun.
then Crystal sword 2sec stun.
enemy has 4sec to flee (not that much for slow heroes) then stormbolt again.
enemy dead?

I think the Fragment Strike should be passive, since the story of it says that it removes its parts by itself, so i think the releasing of its fragments is like unpredictable don't you think?..
