The repice cost is 900 (I think), so its first getting good for its block by upgrading.

If you two of these in lvl 3, (I doubt that you can afford it) you are getting 70% melee damage return right?

Axe will be unkillable if only faceing melee

I don't really like it. and blocks 5 damage.. bleh?! pretty useless to me.. unless improved somehow more.

I think the effect of the item is good... but i don't like upgrading the level of it, reminds me of dagon xD

More like a kraken shell if you ask me.

The question is whether these stack with each other (all effects) and whether the return damage stacks with Blademails'/NA's return damage. Obviously (well if its not true then you're silly ^_^) the 'block 5' doesn't stack with Kraken Shell - I hope.

too costly for a defense item... and.. errr... u cant afford it early game, and late game, i prefer AC, the ias, and reduced armor aura thingy..

i suggest a return damage for ranged attacks :)

maybe u can lower the percentage of chance to block dmg, but increase the amt of dmg that can be blocked. if u folo wad i said just now, maybe u can decrease the amr gain a little too.

its not 4370.. u have to upgrade it to lvl3 to get 24 armor... how much does the recipe cost? im to lazy to do math right now.. hehe..

and yeah.. maybe lower the % but higher the amount of dmg that blocked.. say... 7o% block 25 dmg, and each updrade increase 10% chance and 5 dmg blocked.so at lvl3, ull have 100% chance to block 40 damage.. just increase the recipe to balance it..

i imagine it stacks with kraken as they are different abilities it would however not stack with vanguard... very well.. diminished stacking, with 100%..

so you get this a vanguard and a stout sheild.. something like 12% chance to block 100~ish damage.

cool...it's better than assault and blademail...i would like to use this thing because i'm an AXE fan

how about on Centaur? if you put this item haha

this item gives a lot of armor it also hav return damage such as centaur's 3rd skill i recommend that this item should be post on real play

i think 35% dmg return is imba

aex gets this and any regen (maybe vanguard) and he's basically invincible. i don't like it.

It's Usefull Items, but, I think, It's need more damage block.

I think it's a good item for early n mid .. but it's a good item n useful for STR heroes.. especially CENTAUR.. quite nice item.. a cheap substitute for blade mail... NICE!! wkkakkwa keep on making new item ideasssssss!!!

this item is so damn imba!!!!forgive me but a centaur wit this,1 cuirass and a hot can be almost unkillable.it will probably take about a whole team 2 kill him

So at lvl 3 it blocks 20 all of the time. Imagine mixing that with leviathan. He could just ignore creeps/techies/tower attacks.

when you say upgradable up to 3 times, does that mean lvl 4 dagon equivalent or lvl 3?

900 for the recipe, not bad for the first lvl but I think it isn't really worth it for the later levels

6170 for 21 armor, 100% block for 15 dmg, 30% melee return

I think only the return would be worth it and that would be situational and a counter mainly for permbashers or an all melee team

The armor is fine, I think the dmg block is a little

weak imo, it's kinda like a weaker Kraken shell, does it reduce magic damage as well? even if you upgrade it the dmg prevention won't be much, especially in late game

The return dmg is fine at all lvls, it's kinda situational, I would rather stack blademails and get a vanguard for dmg block, but that's just me.

its quite good for str heros, especially for AXE, but dont you think if you use this iten and your lane rival is AXE, his conter helix will sure pinned you down easily, and i have a question, can some 1 cr8 an item that can reduce damage of AXE's counter helix? thx

A very effective and useful item for heros with inherent block or dmg reduction capabilities such as Axe, Centaur, Nerubian Assassin, Leviathan, ...
Of course, best works against MELEE attackers without UNNATURAL dmg abilities.

Imagine Agility Type Hero using Assault Cuiras+Ur Shield+2 Butterfly+PT(Agility)+ Add.Attri. from stats...

It May result to over REDUCTION on other hero's attack..Having all the Items I mention already reduced damage by 80~85% which means it's to EXXAGE.

Example. Lion's Ultimate has 900 damage..having 80~85% reduction would play lion's ultimate to 135~180 damage..yup 135~190 damage >_>

you could mabye add 1 second cl on block and incres the dmg blocked

are you really serious with this idea?? it's a good item on the first look. but to study it simultaneously, with the attributes given, they are somewhat in conflict. and have you ever thought? why the existing dota game has only a maximum of +15 armor? your idea is not a hero item. and i think your game is not dota. you are more on a GOD LEVEL games. hahaha (peace men!)

your item idea is a shorcut for invicibility or invulnerability. why? look on the vanguard and stout shield. why only 65% and 30%? it's simply because they don't block a specific damage once but may block them repeatedly as luck allows it. the percentage speaks for itself. while yours is 100%. well it's not just a nice item. IT IS A GOD'S ITEM! (peace men!)
