Hero: Kael Comments: 89 Rating: Views: 2734 times
The Invoker, his name portrays the raw elemental firepower that this mage can harness. Be it casting devastating spells that turn tables of battles or empowering himself with the fury of the elements, the Invoker is not one to by trifled with. Foes who stand up against him are brought down by his sheer power and combinations of devastating spells capable of destroying even the strongest and toughest warriors. Cowards who run are sent to their makers with a sudden gust of fearsome wind or an explosion of solar radiation. Commanding the power of the elements, Fire, Ice and Lightning, the Invoker brings opponents to their knees in seconds. This hero made his first appearance in DotA some time ago as a very Imbalanced hero. He had a HUGE arsenal of spells at his fingertips. This was good and bad at the same time. Icefrog removed him and promised to remake him. Now, he is back, more balanced but still very powerful. The Invoker is by far one of the most versatile heroes in the game. He can be the team's DPSer, Caster, Ganker, Pusher, heck, he can tank quite a lot of damage too with his insane hp regeneration. His movement and attack speed can also bee boosted to suit your every need. Last and most important, he has a damage booster that can really turn him into a fearsome DPS caster that can out-match even some of the heroes that were made for DPS themselves. This is all good but there is a catch. Mastering the Invoker takes time, patience and micro skill. Do not get frustrated if you do not get the hang of him at the first few tries. This is what my guide is here for. My aim this time is to unveil the secrets of the Invoker to all players, pro and new players alike. Now, without further ado, I present my guide.

Hero: Lina Inverse Comments: 211 Rating: Views: 13116 times
Welcome to my guide on a caster Lina. With a multitude of useful spells in her arsenal, she can lay waste to even the strongest strength heroes. I will show you how to use her spells to their max and cause people to fear you. I also cover alternate Lina builds in the conclusion section.

Hero: Vol`Jin Comments: 123 Rating: Views: 10748 times
Hey guys - this is my first write up for my favorite hero. I've only seen one other approved write up on dota strategy, so I figured it would be good to see my perspective on building this hero properly.
The first thing one should know about the Witch Doctor (hereby also referred to as doc, WD or Vol'Jin) is that he is probably one of the hardest heroes to master. This hero is 100% timing, and would require NO items if someone were ever to be perfect with him (near impossible, but just to make a point). This is why he's my favorite hero - he's purely skill based. In other words, if you are brand new to dota you should look to swap with someone on your team or repick. I'm only saying this because learning dota with the doc is very difficult when compared to an auto attack hero.
This strategy is going to cover the witch doc as an Offensive Hero killer - who has disables for team fights and late game TANKING ability. I play the witchdoctor very aggressively to make use of his overpowered early-mid game talents.

Hero: Lion Comments: 165 Rating: Views: 14826 times
This is my first guide. Lion is a very powerful hero that is both a one-on-one hero killer and a 5v5 team battle player. Lion's int gain is high which is helpful with the two disables. His str gain is low, but this is not insurmountable by any means. Lion can be strong as early as level 3 and has the ability to stay strong and a powerful enemy throughout the entire match with this guide.
ENJOY!

Hello everyone, this is my first strategy guide. It explains how to play Rylai Crestfall-Crystal Maiden. It is quite different from other builds and guides I've seen so far and it is more fun to play.It is quite big and has many screenshots because I really wanted this to be a complete guide to playing Rylai,so please don't make any comments about guide being too big and detailed. It is aimed for noobs anyway, but everyone can read it to try to play Rylai different.I hope you enjoy the guide!

Hi!
Welcome to my first DOTA guide ever. Viper is one of the best heroes in the game, if not arguably THE best early game solo hero, if you know how to play him properly. I noticed that existing guides on this site didn't seem to do the Netherdrake's powers justice, so... here I am.
This is going to be a Viper-specific guide, so don't expect to find general info such as last hitting and denying, etc. I'm going to assume you already know how to do all that, and if you don't, you can just look at any other How-To-Dota guide.
I am assuming that you are playing non-em in this guide. I don't play em, so I can't help you must there, sorry. Still, even if you do play it, I hope you find the concepts helpful! ^_^
*********
Viper is predominantly a HUNTER. Early game, he can kill nearly anything one-on-one, and the perpetual slow makes him an incredible ganker. If nobody else is doing it, Viper makes a passable carry, but there are other heroes better suited for the role. In other words, Viper isn't here to farm, even if he does seem to do it okay. He's here to stop other heroes from farming. Your income will come mainly from killing other heroes, not from creeps!

Hero: Sven Comments: 132 Rating: Views: 21881 times
Hi, this isnt my first strategy, but i think the other strategies are too skimpy to be approved so i am making this more detailed and TRY to get it approved.
Ok, this guide basically tries to teach people how to play Sven in a way which benefits the team most (most IMO)
Definitely not the guide to getting lots of kills and streaks.
I would also like to thank other RK strategy makers like Loze etc and everyone who commented on it (exclude spammers but including some flammers)

The Drow Ranger is one of the most powerful heroes in DOtA if used efficiently. I will show you how "I" use this hero, as this is "MY" way of playing it not yours, but feel free to comment. But avoid Flaming/Spamming, thank you.

Hero: Mirana Nightshade Comments: 202 Rating: Views: 29039 times
The priestess of the moon is a very versatile hero and has many efficient ways to play her. About 4 builds work well but i will focus on the one that works the best. She is commonly found slaughtering pubs and destroying the rooms one by one in Garena. Needless to say she is one of the most powerful heroes in the game of DotA. However she requires skill in knowing when to use starfall and Moonlight Shadow, how to aim elunes arrow, how and when to leap. She can be a carry, ganker, or support hero and fits any situation. She simply dominates, and this is my guide on how to use her.

Hero: Kael Comments: 231 Rating: Views: 35615 times
Hello everybody, a invoker strategy is finally here! I decided to write a strategy for invoker because nobody else did. This strategy is very detailed because it is meant to be useful to newbies in first place so it contains many details that some players don't need. Invoker seems very complex to everyone, especially newbies and I will try to explain him in as much detail as possibly.So...Quas-the spirit of the ice...Wex-spirit of the storm...Exort-the spirit of fire...The Invoker uses them all to burn his enemies, summon fire minions or turn invisible...I bring you Kael, The Invoker!
