It' a good strat. Although I disagree a bit on your item build, since it requires 3 high-end items. But you did say that the item build changes depending on the situation. Still, it never hurts to point out that you may never get the items you need because the game could already be over. And your reason for not getting Toughness Aura is good, I understand that you initiate the ganking. Good job.

WHO cares if you have Devotion Aura in early game.Let them change lane which is a waste of time but an advantage for you in EXP and gold.If they change their lane,your allies at the other lanes will take care of them.

Devotation Aura is not needed, due to stats giving you more hp. I would rather get a kill and farm (heal from Mask). More stats more stun aswell for your team. :) You play your way ^_^. Different Playing styles, I accept your comment. Garfield because of Great Cleave and Triple Kills from God's Strenght, Frenzy, Cleave oombo you are able to farm incredible amount of gold.

All items will work. Its just how you play, we all have different playing styles. Remeber the 4 items 2 Bracers and Power Treads and Mask of Madness are must gets for Early and Mid game. Decide on the situation of the game and purchase the items that will put you on the advantage. It always depends on the situation :).

Yeah nice strat... But I usually go for battle fury early game, for farming... But MoM is also a good start item... I agree with his skill build, with storm bolt and stats first, you can throw storm bolt more than twice in the early game...And he is correct when hiding, the creeps will have the aura, so they can avoid your attack when your coming from the back..

yes you can, sometimes I get 3 bracers instead of 2. This is because if I have trouble fighting a feed hero who higher level than me.

omg u didnt get toughness aura to start u need that asap it also goes good with ring of basilius in one of the games i was able to push bottom two towers once i hit lvl 8 i didnt get god strength untill 9 tho but i focus on what will keep me alive i max toghness and storm bolt asap then i pushed like mad and we won very quickly like in 15-20 mins

I think that there is something wrong with your sven build I think your item build is good enough but you don't need battle fury to start with and also you don't need cleaving attack buy you need the aura for defence at first. also change the battle fury to kelen dagger of escape . By using kelen you can hit more than "5" times. and when the enemy try to run away then stun(don't forget before kelen use madness first). after buying kelen than burizza I use this item mostly beyond godlike never become feeder.

for me... the best item for sven is BKB, MoM, Threads, HoT, Radiance, eigis... it is super unstoppable!!!

Joker, u clearly didn't read my guide properly. I said my item build depends on the situation after 2 bracers a treads and a MoM. Also if I have an 80% I have a higher chance to take on 3 heroes. Did you not read why I do not get Toughness Aura? If you get status it will provide you str and agility hence adding armour (since agility gives armour). It will also provide me mana. Therefore I will be able to farm longer. Even withouth Dagger I dont feed, nor do I need a Lorthars. You can choose your item build the way you want, everyone has their own styles, but thanks for commenting.

Creep blocking with Earthshaker's fissure is agianst the rules, but walking on front of the creeps is ok. Why would all the players creep block in CAL-League? Teh creep blocking TDA rules are referring to is stop the creeps movement completlely. I have lost the replay T_T...

7. another battlefry
8.mkb.

* two nulls can give u 2 storm bolts, god's strength and madness at level 6.

two battlefuries can sometimes give you 4 kills at once.

My clan vsed WpD, wpd.windwalkah's clan. Hes my friend. We beat wpd though, the 2 games where 40 - 11 to us and 24 - 4 to us. We owned :D

Hey if you are NZ I could try for your clan when I get my new PC. Also don't war with these clans: IGS and HIDDEN.
I was in a game with HIDDEN and it was 5 random people VS 4 clan HIDDEN plays and one random person I was techies and there was a leaver on our side. So it was effectivly 3v5 and WE WON!!!!! OMG I KILLED THE CHEFTAIN TWICE WITH MINES!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!!

i think MKB is not a usefull item to sven.. instead use a MOM.. then go for a buriza, HOT and an MKB.. then use god strenght.. 1300 damage critical or over .. its an OUCH.!!

Nice guide, but i totally disagree on your begginning item build. RoR is good, but i suggest flask+tango reg. or flask+2 tangoes im em. If you get him in random, its boots/RoR and bring flask and tango. I agree on bracers, but i think you shouldnt get branches and you should keep your RoR. GOOD OVERALL STRAT! btw, the reason i said you should get flasks is bc sven NEEDS flasks when solo, and when with 2 people, he needs tangoes if he wants to Last hit and deny

In an ap game you are able to get a RoR a Branch and a Tango in an em game you are able to get a RoR 2x Brahnces and a Tango. I do not use flasks, because I could get another Tango. Aslo I do not need much healing, if I creep block the tower will protect me hence I do not need to buy flasks. You said "Sven needs flasks when solo," this is not true it is your opinion and your gameplay style. Also you don't even lose much Health Points while doing last hit. If you do it properly that is. If you get him in random, its boots/RoR and bring flask and tango. The cost is 500 + 375 + 100 + 80 = 1055 gold. Are you telling me that people should wait for their gold in a 5 v 5 till they reach 1055? I hope not. Please back up your statements and use logic. Also even if I send the replay, there is no point now as battle net's version is 1.21, therefore you are unable to view the replay since it was playing in Battle Net 1.20d. Sorry T_T

NO Toughness Aura? R.O.B +toughness aura=CREEPS UNSTOPPALBE> your creeps will take at least 3 more hits from towers, mass push ftw. your enemies cant stop them cuz when you are early game, you are pretty fragile and creeps can do some serious damage.

It's a good guide. Items build is particularly good. It's the one I use for MOST of my games, if not all.
I personally do not recommend Battle Fury on Sven because he already has Great Cleave. If you want a damage item, then the best choice would be a Radiance. Nothing can beat it in farming ability and exceptional hero chasing ability.

If you skipped the battlefury you could have farmed buriza faster. God's Strength at lvl6 could help you get 1st blood so I suggest you learn it.

as for guide itself...i susally get God's Str at the respective levels 6 11 and 16 cuz even without M.o.M it still owns pretty much.

One other thing, i usually get R.o.B for some minor regneration, it stacks with toughness aura nicely, [ i dont know why you saved it for late game], and clarities for some possilbe early game kills.

good strategy, sven is best late game hero especially with a battle fury, he gets 75% cleave XD

great strat, i agree w/ the storm stat thingy, and items like buriza we have the same items, but for my item build, bkb is a must! i dont really like great cleave and i dont get battlefury, because of cleave, i dont get all last hits!

i mostly agree with stats, good job with massing stats points for hp/mp. But i disagree with item build- MoM isnt good on Sven as he takes 20% additional dmg making it difficult for tower diving and it is quite a weak orb effect compared to satanic....
get a hyperstone if u want aspd, its much more reliable and perfect for early game farming.
also mkb isnt good for sven as he already has stun to stop channeling spells.
battlefury sure sounds gr8 as it is stackable, but it makes u wanna reapetedly wack creep waves until they all die, making u push too far into gankable territory...
I would suggest a getting stats over cleave as cleave isnt suitable for killing heros unless u can move all heros to melee range (magnartaur), even so i would strongly advise against this.

Survival items- Heart/ Satanic/ Assualt Cuirass
Dmg items- Desolator (cheap and stack with Cuirass)/ Hyperstone (for Cuirass)

Either choose Deso or Satanic... i recommand Deso as Sven is REALLY tough with Cuirass(15armor) plus Tough aura(5armor).
I would LIKE to make a complete guide, BUT i cant as the strat making list DOSENT have sven's name in it....

Hi at first i find your strategy almost perfect for me. except i would replace MKB with a basher. The reasons are that a) are far more cheaper b) mom and treads multiplies your chances for bash and c) with even 1 sec bash you could strike 3-4 times with your Gs dmg and could be an early game cheap but fine item. I would like your response. P.S your idea on stats instead of aura made me change my point of you ond sven.

we have the same stats build but i put GS on lvl 8 incase of a gank... i also recommed that if you have enough money at the start you shuold try building heart of T or BKB instead of bracer MoM..
but if you dont have money you should build bracers and MoM

i tried this guide........got all the items..........did everything correct......my dammage WAS FUCKEN AWSOME.....however i could not tank at all...i'm not sure maybe my lack of skill or the items...so i went with a heart instead of MKB..TANK....less dammage but god's strength get the bonus from the heart and i had more survivabilty. I'm just not sure if this will own against any hero?

well,since Sven has real thick armor, why not try and improve it too? The last time i did it, my armor went up to 37.8. UNSTOPPABLE!

Nice strat, just did it and i must say that the cleaving is nice. We were pushed till the last tower once and there were seiously like 30 long range creeps...i took em ALL down in 2 hits...i mustve gotten about 3k gold from that whole wave...so nice...and also we were playing agaisnt meepo, i used GS and MoM and i had like 500+ dmg total, i hit him 1 time and i crit for 1212 or something...he was dead in 1 hit :)

this guide is amazing, the only thing i do differently is get an arcane ring(with that i can ALWAYS stun people) and sometimse a basher if things get dicey with permabash enemies. i can take on 5 characters and get them ALL down to 1/4 health and probably kill 2 on my own. insane.

sorry about the double post but id like to say its very easy to get all of those top end items in a 5v5 game once you get a battlefury. i get almost every single kill from creep waves, not to mention destroying packs of neutral creeps. money is never an issue with me on this char. i actually get so much i generally buy recipes for my team mates

One core item for sven is missin;

BLACK KING BAR

Without it ur gona spend most of the time of your gods strentgh spinning in the air or stuned.

Umm, they are disabled by stun, and you have more that 150 damage, 20% won't hurt, they get hurt.

apart from heart and bracer, u got him no strength items... his ulti becomes redundant then.

divine isnt good for him, because u get toughness aura really late, it makes him vulnerable to high nukes. no melee hero would want to kill u, but a ranged would have lots of fun

@unHOLYdoNUT666: assault cuirass would be even better. and i prefer HoD over Heart, sven gets allways harrased by int heros so this might save ur ass.

Great strat. I found that getting stats early game and leaving toughness aura until late was a smart move. I tried out your item build a few times, and I think it works really well; the Mask of Madness is really key. Very well done.

About ur cuirass kizzmiazz it's but it does not boost your attack so i choose to have a desolator but the assault cuirass is also good

@unHOLYdoNUT666: cuirass gives 40% IAS, what means 40% more dmg what more "boost of damage" could u ask for?. think of 40% more dmg while ulti and mask are active.. this gives u easy triple kills for sure. deso gives just 60dmg what is also nice, but try sven with mask and hyperstone/cuirass u will see what i mean :>

Have you tried cranium basher? With MoM, you will( at least) get a bash, which means more GS hits=pawnage. Just a suggestion. Nice build, agree on everything you mentioned especially the situational item build after those 4 items. 9/10

I think you don't need a dagger, just use storm bolt if you want to chase enemies...

For all the naysayers of this guide, you guys need to try something before you bash it. I followed this guide to a T last night and finished 17-4 and 18-6. Those who say "don't get MoM", you're a fool. The move speed increase is priceless.

Your strat is good but you should buy a Dagger of Escape just directly after the Bracers because with God's Strenght, it really rox.

i get heart first, then MoM cuz then u cant actually tank up the hits... but other than that... its pretty good...and i like the burriza... never tried that... and skadi and MoM cancel out u know... unless ur using skadi for slow only... but whatever 10/9

Good stats, i think that "Great Cleave" ability of sven is very affective againts creeps..

My only skill build is Storm Bolt, stats and GS. I only put the other skill ing the end. And i dont like to use battlefury. You just need to use MoM Cuiras or other speed items like S&Y. Buriza and double HoT of course.

great guide man i dont even have to get half the items you say and i own sven is my favorite you can basically own with elementary items mask of madness is all you need and you start rolling from there

@loze ...excellent strategy! never mind about the flammers... they always have something to rant about. With ranged heroes they will say they r harassed by "heavy health melee" ones... and will find some excuses for every hero. We call these ppl "retards" not noobs... noobs will learn, they wont.

I liked ur startegy, its uber! however, how about going for StormBolt, Stats, Stats, Stormbolt...? or 3 stats... We also need the void stone early game this guy has pathetic mana to begin..

some guys dont agree to the battle fury for this guy.....
BF has lot of benifits:-
1. 150% mana regen
2. hp regen
3. lot of damage at cheap cost
4. last but not the least the 35% cleavage which stacks with 50%

and more over with 85% cleavage, you will hardly miss any creep's gold

mask of madness is a bad item for sven.
sven is a tank, and furthermore u dont need the ias. your movement speed with bot is equal to pts+mom while u gain survivability (20% more dmg mom) + mobility (teleport)
mkb + buriza is a newby combination because one item nuliffy the other one.
