Hi, Killrbkilled here, writing my second strategy guide! Terrorblade is my second favorite hero, although not my best hero... I know you are all asking, "Why another Terrorblade strategy? There are like 3 already lolz." Well, I didn't like the other ones. This strategy will focus on using Terrorblade's images to farm + push. A well built terrorblade can take on 2-3 or sometimes 4 opponents and run away with "hardly a scratch". Terrorblade is also a great counter-attacker due to sunder, which makes most mellee heros hesitant to engage him or his images.
Terrorblade

Terrorblade - The Soul Keeper

Range: | Move Speed: 310
Primary: AGI
Str: 15 + 1.9 | Agi: 22 + 3.2 | Int: 19 + 1.75
Damage: 48 - 54 | HP: 435 | Mana: 247
HP Regen: 0.70 | Mana Regen: 0.77
Attack Speed: 0.81 | Armor: 5
Reflection
Reflection (E)
Terrorblade brings forth a dark reflection of all enemy units in a small area. Affected units are slowed and attacked by their reflections for 5 seconds.
Level 1 - 20% AS & MS slow, illusions deal 35% damage
Level 2 - 25% AS & MS slow, illusions deal 45% damage
Level 3 - 30% AS & MS slow, illusions deal 55% damage
Level 4 - 35% AS & MS slow, illusions deal 65% damage
Casting Range: 600
Area of Effect: 350
Reflections are untargetable, invulnerable illusions.
Reflections can only attack their source.
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Comment: This is a decent ability in the mid-game it allows you (and your clones) the luxury of a ranged attack when pushing towers and base defenses.

Zeal
Zeal (C)
Increases your attack speed and HP regeneration.
Level 1 - +20 IAS, +2 HP regeneration
Level 2 - +30 IAS, +3 HP regeneration
Level 3 - +40 IAS, +4 HP regeneration
Level 4 - +50 IAS, +5 HP regeneration
Attack speed bonus affects your illusions too.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Comment: Worthless skill IMO. You can't hit hero's with it cause they run out of range and you don't get a lot of health back from creeps either. It also gives away your position if you use it while your images are on the field. Plus it tells the other team "Hi I'm new to using Terrorblade, please come and kill me."
Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis (T)
Transforms Terrorblade into a powerful Demon with a ranged attack and illusions.
Level 1 - 20 extra base damage
Level 2 - 25 extra base damage, 1 illusion dealing 10% damage and receiving 350% damage
Level 3 - 30 extra base damage, 1 illusion dealing 15% damage and receiving 350% damage
Level 4 - 35 extra base damage, 2 illusions dealing 20% damage and receiving 350% damage
Metamorphed Terrorblade has 300 movement speed, a 1.6 Base Attack Time and 550 attack range.
Lasts for 30 seconds
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Comment: Bread & butter of the build. These images can be used to confuse & harrass the enemy. Often I use them to chase weaker hero's away from the front line, reducing the gold/experience they receive early in the game. They do an excellent job in farming you gold as well. The most you can have on the field is two... more on that later.
Sunder
Sunder (R)
Sunder severs the soul from both Terrorblade and a target hero, then exchanges them, carrying part of the units' life forces. The percentage hit points of each unit are switched with the souls. Some hit points must remain on enemy heroes and yourself.
Level 1 - 33% hit point minimum.
Level 2 - 28% hit point minimum.
Level 3 - 23% hit point minimum.
Damage type: direct HP removal
Interrupts channeling spells of the target.
Magic immunity on the target or Terrorblade will prevent that unit from having their HP changed. The other unit will still change its hp correctly.
Casting range: 250
Mana Cost: 200/100/0
Cooldown: 160/110/60 seconds
Comment: Heh heh heh. This skill is great when a full-health noobie tries to gank you. Thanks for the full health bar nubcake! Too bad it doesn't switch your mana pools too... Downside: High mana cost.

Skill Build

Early Game:

Terrorblade, is a pain early on, nukers, ranged, and most mellee will whoop him in a fair fight. Luckily for Mr. Terrorblade his images add at least 25% more damage and allow him to take on most heros. Since they don't know which to strike, they usually flee instead of taking a chance and fighting it out. Conserve your mana early, get a few levels, wait for the enemy to build up a surge of creeps, and then use your images and your hero to farm some quick gold. If you come under attack, send your image, or yourself, at the enemy. This will keep them guessing.

Smart opponents, however, figure it out very quickly which of you is the real deal, and which are the fakes. When I face intelligent opponents I above all do not put Mr. Terrorblade in danger, he is very weak when we start, hence the +stats. The stats add considerably to your survivability in the early and mid-game. They also boost your damage and mana pool, imagine that!

Like I said, smart opponents WILL target you for a gank. Letting Terrorblade get equipped can spell certain doom. Remember to confuse your opponents, I sometimes leave the image behind the front line to make them think that it is me, when the fake "charges" he is targetted instead of Mr. Terrorblade.

old guide is old

manta can be used if terror is on meta? O.o

"When you have metamorphosis you can, if you have enough mana, summon 2-4 ranged images to bring death to the enemy."

conjure can only max 2 images...at good time spans

@muikio
so what level soul steal then? maybe stats will help

261 By muikio 2009-12-25

The images are to confuse the enemy, not to kill them, at least during the early game.Conjure image at all levels creates 1 illusion,so you do not need to upgrade that spell during the early game more than level 1(if you are fighting at a line). The image at lvl 1 is enought to make your opponent to cast a spell on your illusion instead of you.

260 By ToT71 2009-11-27

@neimi
sunder at lvl 6 is also hard on your mana pool and if you use it to escape chances are you wont have enogh mana.

259 By ToT71 2009-11-27

@neimi
well if you think you need it at level 6 it will help you survive but leave that for life steal and images.
But stats in place of spells? Not for this guy (or build). ONE point in stats is like having two branches, and you'll already be higher than lvl 5 just keep them till the end. Last, do what your confortable with!

258 By Kazuhiki 2009-11-22

This... sucks =D

257 By neimi 2009-10-07

@ToT71
you gotta be kidding me.
sunder at lvl 10?
sunder should be gotten when ever possible.
1 lvl of meta and 1 lvl of CI are enough for early game.2 lvls of soul steal are also enough.
stats are way way better than keeping o lvling you images and meta.
dont wanna post the calculations but im pretty sure they are in CF_X's guide.check it out.
manta can be used for ranged illusions b pressing it at the right time with meta or by using shift-Queing.
@guide.
images dont get dmg or cleave

256 By IMANERD 2009-09-02

255 By myndsnare 2009-08-18

252 By PokerFace 2009-08-06

251 By gomogon 2009-08-06

250 By paladin0037 2009-08-06

i thimk that the damage of images are too little to be splashed that's why we dont see the nearby creeps have their hp decreasing

Starting items:
2x circlet of nobility
slipper of agility
2x ironwoood branch
Don't get any tango because u already have soul steal, with this your additional dmg must be 4+3+2=9, str bonus= 4+2=6, int bonus= 4+2=6
U may change slipper of agi with gauntless of ogre str..
