Comment: This skill i good for killing a running opponent or for support.

Aphotic Shield

Comment: Aahahhahah!!! A very good spell, saves your butt and kills some.

Abaddon strikes an enemy with Frostmourne's chilling power on each attack, causing all units who attack the slowed enemy to gain 15% increased movement speed, along with faster attack speed, for a limited time.

Level 2 - Slows enemies for 10%, gives +20% attack speed to allies.
Level 3 - Slows enemies for 15%, gives +30% attack speed to allies.
Level 4 - Slows enemies for 20%, gives +40% attack speed to allies.

Duration: 2 seconds (Slow on enemy); 4.5 seconds (Increased movement and attack speed on allies)
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Comment: Wouldn't be complete without frostmourne lets you run and attack faster.
Borrowed Time
Borrowed Time (B)
When activated, most negative buffs will be removed and any damage you take will heal you instead of damage you. If the ability is not in cooldown, it will passively activate when your hitpoints drop below 400 hp.
Level 1 - Lasts 3 (5*) seconds.
Level 2 - Lasts 4 (6*) seconds.
Level 3 - Lasts 5 (7*) seconds.
Borrowed Time can be manually activated.
Upon casting Borrowed Time, Abaddon will effectively dodge any projectiles currently flying at him.
When activated it removes negative buffs from Abaddon.
Aghanim's Scepter improves duration (noted by *)
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: 60
Comment: This is the reason why people will hate you...

Skill Build

Early Game:

In the early part start off by getting ring of basi. Any lane would do.

If your in the same lane as a nuker stay back until level 3.

By the time you are lvl. 3 you should at least have lvl. 2 shield.

There are 2 ways to attack your opponents either shield a creep that is being attacked or shield yourself and run to your opponent. they would probably run away by the time they see you cast this spell. I fyou are able to hit an enemy just chase him, but noy too far. You can't risk losing your shield to the tower and getting hit, your life is still to low.

Just keep on doing this and your enemy would be gone most of the time.

Your items should look like this:

wxcellent guide .i like it .since abbadon ia a supporter killer a vladimirs is great
choice.

my item build:
bf
power threads
vlad
vanguard
sange-yasha
cranium basher or hot

i use often basher to immobilise oppoments with high ms or to stun them. (by bashing them they are unable to use items or blink-skills or just to stop channeling spells)

Abaddon can be played as both DPS and a Support which is what makes him special.
His DPS would make him unstoppable while if he plays support he can be annoying and very hard to kill.

527 By silentzero 2011-12-14

imba carry, right. lesseee only one dps-oriented skill that's more or less supports other dps, an ulti that allows to tank, a semi-nuke/heal, and a tank oriented skill. Makes sense...not

526 By EIOX* 2011-12-14

vanguard is a great item in mid game but in late game, it always doesnt serve u a lot..i think u shouldnt waste the money for vanguard but for AC instead..BF is pretty good also..if u wish to ply it as a supporter, u should try meka..it is awesome..

520 By Graey 2010-10-23

Amazing !!

517 By varunshenoyg 2010-07-28

You guys should notice that this guide is pretty old, and Abaddon has had his fair share of changes since then. Maybe DPS style was playable back then, maybe the author is just sharing his views. In any case, this guide is only here because we don't have better ones for this hero. How about you guys take the initiative and make a new one?

516 By lionel4426 2010-07-28

dps?? is wat

515 By Nabla 2010-07-20

I hate this guide!
He plays seroiusly abbadon as a dps... is this a joke?

for all who read this guide: rather get meka and guinsoos

514 By Wichke 2010-07-20

Welll... very good guide... my favourite

513 By GawDzilla23 2010-07-07

Ring of sorcery?

512 By innardsdecay666 2010-07-07

@510 Depends on your playing style. If you support, get Ring of Sorcery for mana, but if more carry like, the yes, I always get BF first. It's enougth.

511 By okthatscool 2010-06-22

MoM+Borrowed time = awesome
